Who would have thought a big block was bigger than a small block! The more you know!😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
You only get that info on PBG

Scientifically proven by science.

Great stuff Dalton. So happy this channel is growing I remember back at 2500 subs thinkin “man this guy deserves so much more”. Well you’re sure on your way now.
Getting there!
He’s becoming a big favorite of mine!
We need a "just shoot a self tapper in it" t shirt. Its basically your catch phrase at this point. lol
Someday I'll have time lol
I want one.
What a hidden gem of a channel this is 😂 This is the side of car culture that I love. Can’t wait to get a sh!t box I can fix up and customize on a dime. Speed doesn’t appeal much to me. Frugality, resourcefulness and self sufficiency does.
Entertaining - CHECK!
Editing - CHECK!

Next Highly Watched Budget Build Channel - CHECK!
It's so cool to see your videos getting better and better with each installment, Dalton. Your editing is spot on and it's hard to keep a straight face while watching between each moment- your humor, with editing pulls everything together- keep up what you're doing, brother! I'm going to be there when we're celebrating your 100K subscribers!
Can't wait!
Love watching you do these full frame off restoration projects, can’t get enough.. keep them coming
love your attitude, Dalton. I look forward to all your episodes. Your channel is gaining momentum .
Perfect time. Just laying down with the dog and nothing good on. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! Thank you for watching
Hopefully a helpful tip: those shocks look identical to my Monroe Coil-Assistance Shock Absorber. They're roughly 80 a set and help the leaf springs in carrying some of the weight. I love mine cuz my leaf springs were long dead and the coil shocks actually lifted the rear by 2 inches.
Love your show. You are the new VGG. Love Derek to but I really like the grass roots fixing stuff. I pray you and JT enjoy much success and happiness and keep up the good work!
Thank you!
Warming up and the snow is melting here in Iowa and then PBG puts a new video out! Great day for sure🤘🇺🇲
Thanks for being a member!
gear lube smells so bad because of the high sulfur content. the sulfur acts as a lubricant and a cushion for the face of the gear.
I love the simplicity of a square body. They just work, right up until they don't. Great video!
This episode is self-tapper gold! I have been LMAO the whole episode. Loved everything about it! Keep up the good work! 😂 👏
Thank you! Will do!
Gotta love an old beater square body! As long as it's mechanically sound... enough, who cares! Love the copper bowtie!
That is such a sweet sounding engine. I love those big blocks!
I like how he breaks down all the technical terms so that he can reach wider audience. Very smart.
Well all that effort probably means this is becoming a barret jackson restoration channel 🤣🤣🤣, had a good laugh at your expense Dalton. Great video as always man, I'm excited to see this snowmobile adventure you guys are going on 💥🤙🏻
Same! Hope I make it
@@PoleBarnGarage I have faith 👌🏻
Just discovered your channel via JYD and I’ve quickly become a big fan. I’m in KC too and appreciate the muffler shop recommendation!
Thanks dude! Tell Greg I said hello when you go!
Great video Dalton. Really seemed to have upped your game since the rolled runner, both seemed to be having fun again as well as editing style. Keep all the awesomeness coming.
You bet buddy, thanks for noticing!
Totally agree that the editing has been constantly improving.
👍💯
It's always a privilege to watch a master craftsman at work. I need to invest in some self-tappers, I've no idea how I've managed so long without them.
The editing is getting much better PBG. Keep it up, you're doing great.
Thanks! I try
This Hagrid Supervisor guy is awsome!
"I live most of my life in denial." No truer words have ever been said. Your brother is a wise man.
every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new! looking forward to your working on the step side.
Glad to see your brother back on helping out. Excellent episode
Please keep big guy around
My brother
Chemistry of you with Big Haus is pretty funny. More of that!
My brother!
You are a master at using what ever you have available.!!
JD did an amazing job masking off the door pannel some good skills
Ahhh feels good to come in from working on my 70s 3/4 ton square body in the cold and relax by watching someone work on a 70s 3/4 ton square body in the cold.
😂
I think this truck is definitely a keeper! A real going to town rig.
Brother, I been following since the gto. What I love is the cheap (actually cheap not rich people cheap) revivals. Along with the laughs and lessons. Thank you man 🤘
Thanks for watching my man
Don't think I have ever seen you do so much work! Are you feeling well?
I'm tired lol
Watching you guys work is like seeing a reflection of myself when working on my own vehicle 💯
That was entertaining! Another episode of Barely Roadworthy Rescues.
Always face your Ding Dong outwards!!! Hahahahaha that's hilarious Dalton. Yo Dalton, you are a square body rebuild genius brother. I love these truck vids. Keep up the great work!!!
More of your brother, seem to have good humor and great helper!
Yeah I was surprised you were thinking it’s a farm truck it’s too nice
Awesome progress in this video! That rigs ready to bust out some miles! Good luck on the trip! Excited to see you rip that Yamadog
Hell yeah brother!
You and your brother have the same sarcastic banter that my brother and I have. Always nice to see y'all do the work together for some good entertainment.
Your videos are the best part of my day, no joke!
Thanks!
Your entertainment is classic and becoming my favorite channel. Curious if the dented front bumper can get some love with all that freshly coated I mean replaced parts maybe we can give it some love ❤️
I have a line on a new one 😉
200,000!!!!!!!..... WAY TO GO, PBG!!!!.... uhh.. congrats to you, too, Dalton... BUT WAY TO GO JD!!!!!.... (I was clicking on this older video.. apparently, I have not seen yet... hmm... and saw the Sub count to 200K.... awesome, Dalton.. CONGRATULATIONS, MA DUDE AND CREW!!!)
A nice wash and a mild buff would make that paint pop
Won't do much for the missing pieces lol
@@PoleBarnGarage true but it would not hurt to try
I like everything about this upload , great to see this pickup receiving some upgrades !
It deserves it! For now
awesome work, you went full speed ahead to get it in shape for a road trip
premium self tapping techniques in this video, this is what im here for hahah.
The good stuff
A very entertaining video well worth your time to watch and maybe learn something in the process! Dalton, love when JD helps! My daughters took that role while my son just got into sports! Everyone has to go their own way.
I watched the Gambler videos! (OVER and OVER and OVER again). Great video, Dalton! Keep it up!
Great vida as always! I am not sure what your buddy's name is but I hath dub him as "Thinccaroni the wise" until otherwise stated.
😂😂😂😂
The skill of the owner of a Jag is undeniable! Also, rose scented gear oil would be much appreciated!
Make sure when you glue that mounting tab to the windshield it's facing the right way I've seen people glue them on backwards .
Yep
Dude I love your stuff. This isn't the square body channel OR the bullet hole car channel. This is the Self Tapper Channel! :D
Love the video, your unique mix of how to and sarcasm, actually the truck looks and runs pretty good, thanks.
It ain't too shabby
Making things a little better each time 👌
Gotta make that "Self Tapper" shirt for the merch. Lol
Awesome video! 👌 I laughed quite a few times especially while filling the transfer case! 🤣
Hell yeah buddy!
Can't wait for the road-trip! LOL
Good chuckles all episode. Thanks for that!
Can't beat those ol trucks
I think what I love about watching your channel. The most is how you teach us the right way to do things wrong. It’s absolutely perfect.
I definitely love the good old factory wheels that those old square body trucks came with back in the day!!! They definitely look good on the truck for sure!!!!
Self Tapper Technology is one I learned in my youth and has served me well.👍
I need a „self tapper“ counter for the next video 😂😂
Farm Truck 2.0 is shaping up nicely.
Tons of goodies came with this rig man them coilovers are sweet @Pole Barn Garage
yup me too working in the cold on my 3\4 square never be done redoing changing adding , with all the time screws metal painting shocks tie rods are good things to fix great job
Well the best way to repair an old farm truck. Imagine you're summer fishing house is on a little river we call De'nile.
So much love this old girl getting better drive like a brand new truck 😅
Good timing, just finished welding up a seat bracket for my motorcycle.
Gear lube, specifically GL5 gear lube, has sulfur additives which smell terrible. For my manual transmission, I have to make sure that I do NOT use the same oil as the diff. It takes a GL4 gear oil, which does NOT have these additives. The additives in GL5 will eat "yellow metals" like bronze & brass etc. Some transmissions, like mine, have those metals in them. Almost every time I do a transmission fluid change I smell that nasty smell and know that they put the wrong fluid in.
Yeah you did all the right things to the old girl. And I learned something new about tearing apart a front end. Thanks for the breakdown. Keep up the great work
You bet
Yep..great..farm trucks coming along great..starter..brakes..front end..cut down on floor ventilation n no stop signs or license plates..sweet
If I recall the 366 427 tall deck heads were interchangeable to short deck blocks. Just the deck was higher.
That seems to be the case
By far the best UA-cam channel there is for the average workin man. Thanks for all you do.
I love how he did the floors....
Been bing watching your videos. Awesome seeing things get put together and reused from old trash. Hope everything is going well over your way Dalton! Keep up the fun content!
Good stuff. I would totally daily drive that truck. The new exhaust is perfect!
Ole truck is coming along nicely.
Dude; she looks awesome! Those rims are on point! Great job
Really enjoy your channels Big D. Love seeing JD, he’s a rising UA-cam STAR!
Galvanized flashing material for chimneys you can buy that at any hardware store what a great idea
Another Chevy back on the road👍gotta love that.
It sure is!
Because Squarebody life is real.
And I love the drain pan also.
And as always self tappers ftw.
Pole Barn Garage - Your “official” UA-cam channel for everything Square Body. 🤪🤗👍🏻
Gear Oils like your GL4 and GL5 grades are designed to operate in systems that put the oil through extreme pressure situations, not pressure like hydraulic systems but from the squeezing between some types of gears (hypoid etc). The additives to meet these requirements have a lot of sulfur in them and it's the sulfur that gives it the rank smell. I used to get covered in 80/90 on the regular when I was working on vehicles in the Army, I developed a fondness for the smell actually.
Old farm truck would be my daily driver 🤣
Next time you make battery cables with jumper calbles, after the ball peen hammer put a self tapped through the end of the cable, it expands the cable..I've done this for years on shady cables
Love your brothers jacket , looks warm as hell 👍🏻
I sure love your videos and your style! the fuck it send it style never get old!🤘
Hello bud anything new coming up Iv watched all the videos you have. Hope to see something soon 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

I appreciate that!
Awesome. So cool that this truck worked out
Man she's a good one!
“Goo installed.” Totally using this. 😂
It would in many situations.. Don't think too hard
I had to replace the fan clutch on my 70 Thunderbird in 1981. A one hour job that took 2 days. My helper said "while you have the radiator out..." but good fan, a shot of R12 and that was a great summer in Plymouth Mass.
Glad to know you’re still alive, and glad you checked those front bearings. Ouch!! They were bad
For sure!
Glad you're doing great with the subscribers, I was there with you when had 2500 or less subscribers. holy goat 🐐!!!.... I'm glad your brother is with you! Your son's a good cameraman and a side mechanic.
Yes-- I'm a big Pontiac fan!!!! Volkswagen ,Ford , Mopars Chevy and even French cars and Subarus..... I owned-failed on... All.... heavy equipment small engines I've done a lot of. have not worked on helicopters or jet airliners! (Yet)
That's a nice truck enjoy the winter weather in Wisconsin! Omg
