- It is done. The St. Louis Blues have finally atoned for years of agony, pain, and terrible cheapskate owners. Let's just say that this cup was needed. Once again, if you look into St. Louis' history as a team, it is incredibly depressing. Years of the NHL getting in their way, always coming up short despite outstanding management keeping them afloat.

Things were on track for a rematch before the world got COVID-ed. Blues and Bruins both in first in their respective conferences. Wish we could have seen Rat Marchand squeezing more years followed by some drunken Hull antics. (And yes, I know that "drunk" and "Hull" are synonymous.)

I hope people realize how truly significant this was. After the Blues beat the Jets in the first round, they faced the Stars, a team that beat them in Minnesota and in Dallas. They won. Then, they faced the Sharks, another team loaded with talent that should have wrecked them. Uh-uh. Then, in the Stanley Cup Finals, they faced Boston, a team that beat them in their second Stanley Cup Finals appearance… and they won. This wasn’t just a championship win. This was a redemption story.

I was at the Game 7 watch party in the Enterprise Center when the Blues finally won the Stanley Cup. After Brayden Schenn scored to make it 3-0 in the 3rd everybody was standing the rest of the game. It was an incredible experience. I've been waiting my entire life for this and it's finally real.
St Louis really seems to have a history of underdog teams going all the way. Rams in 99, the Cardinals in 11, and now the Blues in 19.
The 1964 and 2006 Cardinals qualify too.

tbh both of our teams are similar in the pain. I was so happy to see them win it all last year. It gave me some hope the blues could do it... but as you know, i never truely could believe. This team has crushed my hope and dreams millions of times. 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. all where bad. 2015 was the worst. I legit cried after we lost to the wild. I was so angry. We where so good but completely shit the bed. 2016 I wasnt all to upset, it stung but I felt like it was bound to happen. two very tough 7 game series and a injured team. Basically this year the Blues and Sharks reversed roles. Still a bit amusing how the team faced off against two teams from 2016, in the exact same round, and then faced a team that swept them in their last finals apperance. kind of wierd.
After watching both of your runs I have hope that my guys are next. Panthers fan.

Been a Blues fan since the 80s. Never thought I'd see a player wearing a Blues sweater lifting the cup.
I nearly gave up on them this year (living in europe now, games dont start till 2am or so), but some little feeling told me to keep on watching. It always felt like the team was a good goalie away being special.
Actually, a caps fan wrote a really nice comment about hanging in there when I was down in the dumps, saying hang in there its so much sweeter when it happens.
My only regret is no matter what happens in the future, this feeling will be once in a lifetime.
Also, that my father, a blues fan since the 60s, didnt live to see this.
I am FAR from a Blues fan, but damn that was such a satisfying win!! The team showed true grit and determination and focus. They EARNED this!!!

I was in Omaha with my best friend who wanted to see the MLB play in Nebraska. To see this win live as well as the Raptors beating the Warriors THE VERY NEXT NIGHT is something no one will never forget

I disagree. Boston did have the "A" game, they were our toughest opponent by far. We won fair and square and beat you just like beat us in 1970.
