This story is proof that there is beauty even in hardship, Jared. Angels don't always have wings but their smiles and gentle ways will always light the way. What they do may not seem like much, but it will always last a lifetime. Much thanks to Chester Martin for giving you this story and, as always, to you for your master storyteller skills! Y'all take care now! May God bless you and yours. 😊

My sister's father in law was called soup as well. Their family is the Johnson county McLambs. Some of the biggest moonshiners around the area. Other than Popcorn Sutton.
Wow! Such an amazing and touching story. The world sure needs so much more of that again. Thank you so so much for sharing and documenting it. It's one of those I'll always remember.
This is a heart warming story here. Reminds me of a old man that lived in my neighborhood when I was a kid. His name was Mr Leroy. Thanks for sharing this Jared. Lord bless you and yourn. ❤
Hey brother!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing that amazing memory man. I bet Mr. Leroy was an amazing feller. God bless and have a good'n Kinfolk 🙏💙
Aww 🥰 That just gives me the feel-goods all over, Jared, I'm tickled to pieces 😊 Especially the part about him striking on good luck and cooking everything for the kids. THAT'S a really great person to me. Loved the story!

Thank you Jared for sharing the beautiful story, I'd love to have met Willie, he was a bright star in a dark night. Wouldn't it be great if more people was like him. Well, have a blessed Sunday and have a great week. 😊
This was great I had a uncle that started hobo’n back in the depression trying to find work and never quit he had a box of files and wood put up a sign that dated saws sharpen and when he came to Norfolk Va he would stay with his Brother for a week or so .He would show my Brothers and I how to throw a rock to kill a rabbit and we would set up a can and he would hit it ever time he said there were all ways rabbits on the track eating grain that would fall off And there were plenty of rocks. Years later after we got older we heard that he was out of state and got frost bite on his feet and they had to take them off and he was in a nursing home he had gotten old I was sad about Uncle Matt 😢. Thanks for a great story ❤
Hey brother! Man I bet your Uncle Matt had some amazing stories! That poor feller. A man that don't like to be tied to one place and having that happen... Heartbreaking indeed. But thanks so much for giving me a glimpse into that amazing family history brother. God bless you Kenneth 🙏
This is a beautiful story I believe this really happened because it happened durning The Great Depression/The Dirty Thirty’s (30’s) I know, guys had to ride the rails to look for work looking all, over the USA…. I am proud, of Old Willie he was a good good angel of kindness!
@@JaredKingTV Thank you for sharing this I am a lot, like Old Willie long before I can remember I used to give all my candies away to all my friends when they wanted to give me some back, I refused but I will share whatever I have and keep a little something for myself just like Old Willie! Very good story brother Jared and hey, me and Carrie got your letter. Thank you so much for the stickers. Let Lora know that we appreciate it. God bless you brother Jared and God bless Lora🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😃😃😃😃😃
I remember playing outside with my many brothers and sisters when we were young. Our small house was next to the railroad tracks, and many times there would be some traveling men sitting inside the train cars as they passed by. All of us would stop what we were doing and wave at them, which they waved back to us. Sometimes there would be one come to the door and would ask for water, or if we could spare a sandwich or something. Mom would russel up something for them and they would politely thank her and be on their way. It's really so sad that people aren't treating each other with respect these days. Because there are Angels out there, and if we were kinder to each other, the Angels would be singing.
Amen sister 🙏 it's a shame how the world is nowadays! People needs to help others because you know what it says in the good book about entertaining angels unawares!! Ya never know when it'll be them testing to see if people will show kindness or turn them away! Thanks so much for watching and sharing that amazing family history. God bless and have a good'n 🙏💙
Greetings and Blessings Brother Jared, Queen Lora and Kin Folks, from the Foothills of the Ozarks of Arkansas. Just a handful of years ago, there was a Jungle, right under the overpass that ran through Russellville, Arkansas next to the train tracks. Sadly, many of the Elder town folks looked at it like a homeless camp for bums. There was never any reports of violence but the Sheriff's Department went in and destroyed the Jungle and ran everyone out. It's heavily patrolled to this very day. So very sad.
What up mtn.family ? I’m stuck in the dirty south, “raining” sux but we need it ! I loved your story, tonight I grew up knowing a family member was a wine o ‘ 1st And hobo ‘d 2nd I found out from another relative he hoped trains to run down better paying jobs Because his taste in liquor was so expensive!! Lol he drank gentlemen jack and Johnny walker and never drank wine ?? Lol He just knew how to get where he needed to because he had seizures when he was younger and the state wouldn’t let him drive. ❤ so that day I learned to make your own judgement on things so important! Cuz everyone s not the same. Best not judge folks till you get to know them. ❤❤❤
HEEEEEEY BROTHER!! 👋😃 always awesome to hear from ya man. Yeah Amen to that brother. There's sadly millions that will judge a book by its cover.
