- John Travolta has long been known as one of the most famous members of the Church of Scientology. But in the wake of the death of his wife, Kelly Preston, from cancer in 2020 at the age of 57, some commentators are convinced that Travolta is poised to pull away from the controversial organization once and for all.
One of the developments people are citing as a clue that Travolta may be leaving Scientology has to do with his recent sale of a mansion near the Church of Scientology's Clearwater, Fla. headquarters. There are also rumors about a rift between Travolta and fellow prominent actor and Scientologist Tom Cruise. Here are all the hints that John Travolta is making a big move away from Scientology.

There was a time where it opened doors to people in the upper echelons of Hollywood and the entertainment industry. Many did it to get a leg-up in the industry. There are still many celebs who are still in the cult, but have little to do with it and only seem to pay money to keep their position, but have little to say about this cult and show it no support. After a number of high-profile members left/were shunned, the publicity was all negative and more have taken several steps back, but without making the move to leave entirely. For some, it is because their family/friends are still deeply enmeshed and others, I suppose, don’t want to risk hurting their careers.
And actually created the *cough* *cough* religion solely as a way to avoid taxes on income received.

The Church of Scientology has been dead set against taking meds or Chemotherapy and Radiation; who knows? Maybe John's wife would have had a 50/50 chance to survive if she had chemo; but the Church is against it; if John decides to break from Scientology, it's his choice; I will pray he makes the right decision for what is best for himself and his family! 🙏❤️
I have no proof but his son Jet seemed autistic, he was susceptible to seizures thats how he died he was having a seizure and hit his head. Im sure he could have taken med for them but the so called church well you know the rest. Kelly was taken infertility drugs for their second son if you do a deep dive woman over a certain age that take that drug are prone to breast cancer. John has had a lot of great loves of loss. When he was in his 20`s he was madly in love to an actress a bit older than him she too passed away from cancer.

Maybe I missed something, but simply selling a house that is in the vicinity of a Scientology facility isn't necessarily a sign that John's distancing himself from it. Maybe he's thinking of buying another house in the same area, some other residence that doesn't remind him of the death of his wife?
