My ST60 is my favorite uke hands down. Put a Fremont low G and Fremont black strings on it and i swear it sounds better than my Romero creations replica tenor! It continues to delight me!
I have the spruce top ebony tenor which Matt at World of Ukes sold as 'B' stock. Not only was it a bargain, it is my absolute favourite uke ever. Bright and beautiful, I couldn't believe my luck when I opened the box.
Matt at World of ukes is awesome...he converted my snail rt-c to be left handed and it’s brilliant. Like you, when I opened the box I gasped at how great the uke looks.

It is interesting that the mahogany ones are really mellow sounding, the spruce topped ones are trebly and the acacia is like in between. However i didn't like the first acacia concert .
I bought an S60 Tenor online. The action is so high it’s hard for me to play. I went to a local music shop and they said it couldn’t be adjusted. I hardly play it now.
Please clarify that you didn't get it from us? That's especially rare for Snail ukes as well because they often need the action adjusted to be slightly higher from new.
I have a snail RT-C which I got from world of ukes. It’s a fantastic instrument for the price £199. It had to be converted to a left handed uke and the only thing is that there are no side dots...what do you recommend I use...a sharpie?, a dot of dark nail varnish.? Or a wee sticker? Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

I never notice a lack of side dots personally... A sharpie would be the most comfortable and least invasive.
