So glad you are enjoying it!! Seems like after walking on the water for awhile you have really come into your stride!! Congrats on all the good that you guys have made happen! Never stop enjoying every day. All the best for the holiday season and the coming year. Ukuleles bring joy to the world!!👍👏👏👏✌️
Great video Alex. I was at the Kanile’a factory in October. Kaimana gave us a tour. I was so impressed that I bought a DK1 Premium while there. The side sound hole does seem to enhance the sound. As someone else said, I don’t play ukulele because I’m good at it-I play because I enjoy it. I think you will enjoy meeting the folks at Kanile’a, Kamala, and KoAloha.
I know I’ve said it on every post or thing I’ve come across but I have still been grinning ear to ear about my Illikai so I will thank you guys once again for your help!
Love these videos. Thank you! It’s wild to see the diversity of these instruments we call ukuleles in 2024. Something for all different styles of music. I was all about the Ilikai this year. 😊 Happy Holidays!!!
Sorry I missed the live broadcast but alas, I need to work to pay for more ukuleles. Brilliant job as always. And right on with the Revelators. Can’t wait until I am able to purchase one ( soon I hope). Thanks for all you do for the ukulele mafia with UAS! Love to all!
Your best of 2024 review is very well done and covers a number of great brands. It is worth commenting that Kala Petaluma has been building some remarkable instruments. Their humble mahogany tenor that I have played for the past year can hold it's own and more. Thanks for all that you do!
Another great video. Still love my Flight Carabao baritone I bought from you last year. I play in a group every week and people keep remarking on how good the tone is. Interesting to see the new models that Flight release on a regular basis.
Awesome video as per guys and a very worthy no1. I own the night owl and even though I own an Anuenue black whale my most played Uke is my revelator night owl. I adore it! Thanks guys 🎉❤
So much fun! This was great as is. With that, if you want to mix it up for next year, my suggestion would be to create 10 best in custom and 10 best in mass produced lists.
I'm interested what you like more about these specifically than the other 80 videos I make a year. I'd genuinely like to know... is it the ranking element?
I like these videos because it gives a general idea of what to buy. Or look for when buying a new ukulele because it’s not just one brand of ukulele it’s 10 different ones. So it helps and the suspense of finding out what will be the number one spot!
Another great video with a superb collection of Ukes. Love that the CariboaLite was second, I have a Tenor and a Baritone and I love them both. Alex when are Flight going to make a Caraboa Super Tenor? If you can talk Flight into it making one I definitely want one. Thanks again SUS.
@@SouthernUkuleleStore that's amazing! I had a new student come to me once after teaching herself the upside down method as a left hander rather than have a left handed uke. Quite ingenious!
@@Uke-Tuber I do both depending on the instrument I am handed. I am honestly a much more competent left handed ukulele player but you adapt as you have to... :)

This was great fun, as it always is. You guys are in the perfect position to make these calls, too. Very cool.

Very pleased with the ukulele I bought from you last year. Been looking forward to this video. Glad it is an annual thing
Fantastic video and some stunning ukuleles, thank you for a lovely 40 minutes of viewing 😃 I am now hoping Santa feels generous

Good idea
Can’t wait. Thanks
Just watched this again, may look into one of the Night Owl baritone next year.
I’ll be here …might even own 1 or 2 contenders haha
Great camaraderie. Great instruments. A happy end to 2024.
Fun to see the list! Sad the world doesn't seem to go much for the soprano size. Yay for the little guy!
What's a Soprano Uke? Never heard of it 😂
@SouthernUkuleleStore - 😊
Thank you.
I wish u did these videos more often these are some of my favorite videos you make !

@arceecorso oh ok cool. Thanks for the feedback... I definitely should go back to doing different brands compared more often in 2025
@ yes please do?!!
That Ilikai soprano is the dream...

This wall of uke... 🤤🤤🤤
Another year another top ten, I’m already thinking about 2025’s top list 😂
😊😊😊
Night howl is thanks to Pete Howlett. His Mahogany design from 400 years old Mahogany is beautiful uke.
Cool
You missed one, KM Kently Morales from the Philippines 🇵🇭. Master Luthier, 2nd generation with over 40 years of experience.
I really wish you guys could get the 'Oli line of ukes from The Ukulele Site. I have a Spruce/Maple Tenor that is just remarkable.
That will happen eventually.
So Alex, do you play upside down?
Yep

You play (and sing!) beautifully. I wish we had a dedicated ukulele store like yours in Sydney. Thank you for your videos. They're great!
That's very kind, thank you 😊
And where is the Oscar’s Schmitt ratings ???
Good one 🫣😅
