My man, thank you so much. Truth be told it was between this and “the cultural contribution that Riptide has made to chord progression, being scared of Dentist, living life like a movie, bull riding and … the blue footed booby of the Galapagos.” But it stated to feel more like a PhD dissertation than a UA-cam video.

Damnit!!!! Came here to be entertained & amused……came away being educated too. I’d heard Rick Beato talking about stuff like ‘the 3rd in the progression’ & wished I knew more music theory…😎👏👏👏👍

Rick is great, hopefully this brings a little more context to what he is saying because he really knows a whole lot about music.

@@TenThumbsProductions if you could instantly transfer Rick’s music knowledge into my head- it would explode like a summer bug on the windshield 🎸🤯🎸🤯‼️

Whew! Potato squad here! Ricky recommended we stop by and check this video out and I’m glad he did. Will have to rewatch to make sure all this information sinks in. Great teaching style and thanks for the hint on how to make songs easier to sing. I feel like I knew that but don’t practice it.

Wish there was a tab display for the chords but nice video of progressions

I might be able to help, a tab of the chords as opposed to chord shapes? I think a really good video to check would be this one, it talks about how the chords are built. This information combined with what you learned in this video is the foundation of all music theory. ua-cam.com/video/sCuoinX78_Y/v-deo.html

I bookmarked this, but it is highly incomprehensible when you read music. God sakes, isn't there just someone who does scales with you on the internet and uses real musical notation? This is so complicated, it is an illterate method of learning notes on an instrument. God, I just hate this. I think all ukelele players must be dolts.

@@cefarther3945What are you talking about? I sight read music and so do all my professional musician peers and they are all versed in the Roman numeral system when discussing and analyzing chord progressions. Classic Dunning Kruger. You are too much of a dolt to know are the king of them hahaha.
