    just wanna thank you for sharing this with us! Rust is one of my favorite games to play, and its still coming up with amazing ideas! you're the one that inspires me to pick up blender!

    Just found this channel yesterday. Wow. Love it. You've made some great work. I've used blender in a professional way, so I knew there were others who must be doing so; but this channel is a rare treat. So nice to see what you are doing for a well known game. And the results are great!

    This is a great job, it's nice to see how a professional works.
    Please show more of your work. You are doing very well!

    You're the best Tom for uploading full process videos and FP must be an amazing team to be so open about this stuff being out there as well.
    I've been meaning to ask something, I still struggle with is adapting concept to 3D. Is there some sort of breakdown you're doing that's not in the process to breakdown what you're actually building or do you simply just notice stuff as you keep going along?
    Thanks!

      It's my pleasure my dude 😎 this is a great question and definitely one I can cover in a new video! essentially I work out scale and proportion first and then go onto the smaller details.

    can you share with me the author's name or the source of the alphal/grunge that you often use? I really like what you use and how you use them in your work when making materials.

    Big fan of your work in Rust. Definitely inspired some of the post-apocalypse work I've done myself. I have a question though: If you were to use Blender for the sculpting process, how much longer would an asset like this take you to create?

    • @ArtOfPilgrim
      @ArtOfPilgrim  Рік тому +1

      Good question! Probably a bit longer due to how blender handles high res meshes. Currently it feels a bit too sluggish for my liking so would take considerably longer.

    Amazing as always pilgrim! I was wondering if you are going to stream again? I learnt a lot by watching you on twitch, sorry if the question annoys you

    Amazing work! I love the textures you use to projection paint, are those from a pack or available somewhere?

      I've sourced them from various places like the Artstation store and Gumroad!

    I cannot understand this inspiration, this look like an oven... imagine smelting on a oven. I believe that you could use this model for an oven that would be an upgrade to barbcue, and get a electric smelter model to replace this.

      It is what it is my dude. Remember, it's just a game and most items in Rust probably wouldn't work as intended haha

    Is it possible to restore your streams from twitch? They were very useful but now they disappeared
