      ~1/4 cup apple sauce and some extra Cayenne. Also use less roux than you and add it at the very end (just as potato softens) with the heat off

      ketchup, Soysauce, and Dark Chocolate with assorted mushroom varieties and/or fruit such as Apple or pear chunks.

      I use the same recipe, except I put minced garlic towards the end of simmering.

    Keeping thing healthy…this is my go to with a veggie curry. Fried tofu instead of chicken, sweet potato, butternut squash, chickpeas, celery and bell peppers. The more veggies the merrier!

    I make this curry all the time with the Golden Curry mix. It's so good! I add parsnips in mine, as well as potatoes, carrots, & onion. I do it in the slow cooker as well. I get the medium hot version, as I'm not huge on spice!

    Love Japanese curry. I've never eaten it with chopsticks though. Even in Japan it's usually eaten with spoons. Have you ever used fukujinzuke or rakyo as a topper?

    I just use the vermont curry only, usually a medium spice, and I blanch my veggies before. But this made me want to make some.

    I find Vermont curry too sweet, so I add half an apple. I use stock and add 1 heaping spoon of S&B curry powder. Cook the finish with S&B curry roux. Serve with Ikari sauce and red daikon pickles.

    Instead of potatoes I use daikon. Trying to reduce the number of carbs since I'm eating rice too. I also like the House Java. The hot is really spicy.
