Yeah, well, I don't know why Julius Caesar is included in this "tyrannical emperors" video, as the view that he was "tyrannical", is certainly not objective, and he definitely was not "emperor"; in fact, the first Emperor of Rome was his adopted son, Octavian Augustus (30 BC-14 AD). The book Early Man in Britain by W Boyd Dawkins will tell you the Welsh, Scots, Iberians, Etruscans, and others were black people. We were lied to by racist scholars and historians. I was taught that the only blacks in Europe were slaves and servants. You can now look up online the color of Julius Caesar it will tell you he was much darker than his fake displays and pictures. So if the etruscans started Rome and they were black, then the Romans had to be black like the Greeks, Phoenicians, and the rest of the Mediterranean area. We know that Augustus Caesar was the 1st Emperor of rome. Negro was the fifth and final emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, he was directly related to Augustus Caesar. My question to you is why would a blonde or red hair, blue-eyed Caucasian man nickname himself Negro or Nero?? Negro and Nero means the same thing.

Maybe the original voice recordings track(not including the background+music) could be slightly(AI) enhanced to make it mor clear whilst turning the background music down with a few percents. But I think it has been mentioned enough. What can't be said enough is how amazing these docu's are! thanks!
A great fan of Tony Robinson's work , for years. It is irritating to need to keep readjusting my ears, in order to hear his narrative nearly half of the time here. I really wish your producer would take the time to deconstruct the sound lines and adjust that problem.
I really wanted to watch this but the background music interferes too much we had to take away our like but we are a subscriber so if you release an updated version we will be notified
I'm currently on the bit where Caligula orders the soldiers to collect shells and I can't hear a word from Tony over the waves!
The sound mixing is horrible! Can that be re-mixed?
Turn down the damn music or turn up the narration. Worst engineered sound I've experienced on UA-cam.
Amazing documentary!!
This would have been a really good documentary Tony Robinson is good but the background noise that is called music was dreadful and ruined it a documentary is supposed to be what it says someone narrating but with that noise a lot of what he said was lost whoever did the background should be sued for spoiling a decent program
I can not understand why the creators of these kinds of fascinating documentaries find it necessary to play annoying loud music, especially while the commentator is speaking. I could not hear half of what Tony Robinson was saying because the music was much louder than his voice.
Brilliant Baldrick, Bloody Brilliant
To y’all complaining about the sound quality. Go to timeline on UA-cam and listen to the entire series in pure sound quality. The problem with this upload is how the stereo sound was loaded through a digital mono filter. They never work !
This was an excellent documentary, but I don't know what you've done to the sound balance. Tony is too quiet, and whenever there are background effects - traffic, battle, waves, music etc - Tony goes even quieter. It's like some sound balance algorithm was being misused and screwing it all up.

Sound is horrible...
Really great but the background music was to loud it drowned out the narration. Excellent research
Great documentary but the background music is too loud and we can barely hear you.
Very interesting, but the music most times overpowers the narrators voice..
Serious sound editing needed here. It is, as always with Tony Robinson's presentations on history so interesting and well made, but the crazy apparently incessant music is annoying as all hell anyway, but when the sound of the narrator is drowned out totally on some of the most interesting parts of the video by strident and irrelevant music it makes it impossible to watch. Such a shame.
not sure how you've done it...but the background music is louder than the very quiet talking...
Binned it. Shocking sound mix. The music is so overpowering.
It is done the way the show was. Use subtitles if you can't hear the presenter. I can understand them just fine
@@lorrainearmstrong7587 some of us are vision impaired
Worst sound editing I have ever heard. The most significant narration is drowned out by godawful, generic "boogeyman" music.

*_"It is done the way the show was."_*
No, it's stolen and pirated from the BBC, and they've put it though a compressor to fool YT's automatic copyright detection. It levels everything flat, so when there are background sounds, Tony becomes almost inaudible.
*_"Use subtitles if you can't hear the presenter."_*
No, the thing to do is thumb down, Unsub and report the channel for copyright infringement.
{:o:O:}
@@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095I will be glad to do what you suggest. Thank you.
Excellent history narrative! I used an external processor to filter out most of the very annoying and unnecessary background music.
The sound engineer needs to face Roman justice.
So what's up with so many newer Productions that think it's good to have the music louder than the people talking I really don't get it
Remix the audio. Narration overwhelmed by music is what I walked away from this presentation remembering.
Back ground music has spoiled this. Quality very poor not worth watching because of the distraction of music.bye
I too am having a difficult time understanding due to the poor quality of the audio. I'm appalled to see so many comments saying basically 'get over it and use subtitles'. What utter selfishness and lack of awareness to suggest such a thing when many of us are vision impaired. SMH
Tony is a joy to listen to and watch.
Yes, but I can’t help but think of my 1st knowledge of Tony Robinson as a comedic actor in Blackadder.
Unwatchable. After almost puking at that roadkill slicing, I closed my eyes to listen. But I heard background music and barely the voice of the host. I was so interested too. Since this is probably stolen someone should download and fix the audio.
Music is too loud.
Thanks again
0:11 That steak was still mooing
I literally can not stomach that 🤢 the best I can do is medium well
It's a shame but I can't watch this with the sound the way it is. At times I can't hear Tony at all because of the unnecessarily loud music. I'll try another video.
Great video, however, the music and background noise is too loud and sometimes drowns out the narrator.
All the commercials in the world won't get me to support daddy's boy Snow and his "it's like Netflix, but for History!"
History still repeating itself
Tq for sharing this
solid episode. except the small fellow cutting the steak at the beginning. it was like he'd never cut red meat before lol
He had probably forgotten how...like many today.
Lewis .... small fellow? lol that small fellow is Sir Tony Robinson - and that meat looks raw!`
Ugh I almost threw up! It was raw!! 🤮
@@ChezzaAU ew!! Yeah it was! So gross!!
That meat was raw af.
The music is much much to load. But a great documentary.
Thank you for such fantastic content. Watched tons of Caesar related videos and still learned some new information from this vid.
Fire, the sound guy!
Thank you so much for uploading this video. It is helping me get through the pandemic!
having commercials in your product is fine and well but for the love of god could you at less edit it so it stays at the same consistent volume? every video you host has this problem, the volume is all good and fine but once your commercial pops off its twice as loud as the dam video we can into watch.
Very enjoyable.
However, Cæsar may have been tyrannical but he wasn't an Emperor! (Octavian/Augustus was the first Roman Emperor.)
Correct
love the Show But The So Called back ground Music? Sound affects ,Is often so loud and Annoying I cant Hear The Narrator. To Where I don't Know If I can Finish This Video. And That's a Bummer. Since I did subscribe,
All learning will be prevented by the audio sound track. IT IS OVERWHELMING !!!
The music is MUCH LOUDER than the narration.
You can't help but admire Julius Ceasar. The more you learn about him the more fascinated you become.
The two figures that changed the world had the initials "J.C"
Except that he shouldn't have been included in this "tyrannical emperors" video, as the view that he was "tyrannical", is certainly not objective, and he was definitely not an "emperor"; in fact, the first Emperor of Rome was Octavian Augustus (30 BC-14 AD), Julius Caesar's adopted son.
Admire? He was a piece of garbage from start to finish. Good riddance.
@@wvjeepguy8178 and you base your view on... what/care to explain what your view is based on?!?
@@mariusmatei2946 The documentary that we are commenting on? Did you just skip the entire thing? His own people murdered him for being a tyrant.
the sound engineers made the backgrounf music louder than the narators voice.
