Asking y'all to please continue to pray for my hubby and I. He goes next week to a Pulmonary specialist to see if he can have surgery to remove a large hernia removed that's pushing against his right lung. He's on oxygen 24-7 due to Covid damaging his lungs. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
Since I found Kim's channel I've laughed so hard at some of the things you say. I absolutely love The Wads. Don't stop I appreciate your hard work. Have a beautiful wonderful day😊✌️👍
My husband lost his job in November, and having a small stock pile saved us. Especially during the holidays. Thankful we have both our parents close by, so they've been a huge blessing helping keep everything positive for our 2 kids.
My prayers are with you and your family. Thank goodness for having family nearby. All will be well ~ sometimes difficult of course I have been homeless with my little ones so I understand how challenging life can get. My kids are adults now and know together you can get thru it. 🙏💙
Sending good vibes your way. I’m in the same boat except my kids are grown and moved out. We are still recovering from my accident last summer (shattered my elbow), where I was out of work for 4 months. We’ll get through it, I have faith
Kim! You look so pretty today in your NEW Pink sweater AND your earrings! Woman across the room! Loved your meal planning and recipe ideas. I always did this about a hundred years ago while raising our three kids. I did it to stay on budget and kept at it which helped us save without realizing it. I mean we had three no stop eaters, but staying within a meal plan and shopping accordingly helped us $ave. Thanks for making my day, Kim! Everyday!💕
I’m STILL trying to get my life together, and I’m 60!!!! LOL I think you’re doing a darn good job doing all the things. Thank you for always putting an extra happy in my day!!! Have a wonderful weekend sweet Kim, and PARTY PEOPLE!!❤️❤️
Yep, me too at 65! I was very organized until I became disabled. I'm slowly but surely purging my home of the things I don't need. I just need help with the getting it out of my house.
@@kathykwilliams6457 I suffer from fibromyalgia, so I understand where you’re coming from. Hang in there, and remember whatever you get done is good enough.❤️
Well I'll be! I a designated party person stayed up to sleep in and woke on Kim time. Happy was achieved and we saw a mighty haul to feed the masses. Thanks for sharing a glimpse behind the curtain, Kim and be blessed my Wads family and friends. YOU matter and are loved! xoxo
When I make stuffed peppers, I cut the Bell peppers in bite size pieces and make it into a casserole. I can add more bell pepper that way as well as different colored bell peppers! So good!! I use 1 packet of knorr Spanish rice, cook as recommended and add a 8 oz can of tomato sauce. Brown 3 Johnsonville sweet Italian sausages and crumble. Once sausage is cooked lightly cook bell pepper and add to the rice. Dump in a casserole dish and top with cheese. I use mozzarella and bake until cheese has browned. This is for a family of 4 so adjust however you need. Quick meal!
Your videos are my "feel good" moments of my day. I play them exactly when needed. Thank you for sharing your life and family (including Little Wolfgang!). I love watching him grow!
I had to laugh when Kim was at the table writing her grocery list. Years ago, I was doing the same thing, writing the list from the recipe. I got to the store and one of the things on my list was ‘water’. 🤪
I know this isn’t a cooking video but I just have to say after watching Kim for the last few years when I cook dinner and I don’t have certain ingredients or enough of this or that, or I think such and such would taste good added in…I can hear her in my head saying “it doesn’t matter! It will be fine!” She has made me so much more confident in the kitchen and as I try to teach my teenagers to cook as well!!
I’m trying to convince my extended family to start a themed once a month dinner! Every time you mention it, I just think that is the most fun thing ever. ❤️
I’m a huge fan of wild flowers, so my favorite flower is kind of a tough one to peg down. Asters, lupine, and 10 petal blazing star would top the list. Oh and sweet rocket!!! Love that one!!!
We love to watch your videos to see all the best things that you do including cooking cleaning and decluttering keep up the great work and god bless you all
The buckets of dry goods... Such a good idea! I don't know if I have room for that in my house but it is now on my short list of things to maybe make room in my life for.... Goals!
We just did our family dinner this past weekend and the theme was "Foods that start with the first letter of your first name." It was so fun to see what everyone could come up with.
I bake my mushrooms with some garlic butter and salt and pepper or I marinated them overnight in some red wine dressing and then grill them. Sooooo good! Love the video Kim!!!
Thanks for the great recipes and food haul!!! Seeing you getting back into the swing of things is great. LOVE the EARRINGS!! Ms Whisk!!! Wishing you a great weekend!
Always love food hauls/prep!! I also took 3 years of French in HS; went on class trip there senior year!! Beautiful, once on a lifetime thing!! God bless
Absolutely loved how you organized your meals for the week and thank you for sharing your grocery list : produce/meat/dairy/spices/pantry It makes so much sense!!!
Baked potato bar is pretty fun. You can load 10lbs potatoes in a roasting pan and make a topping bar. Chili , sour cream, cheese, cooked broccoli or mixed veggies, taco meat, just anything! Salad or soup can round out your menu. Cheers!
Hey Kim and excided viewer's, happy sunday to each and every one. Love the sweater and earrings. The meal plans and grocery are the best. They give me motivation, and lift and brighten meal time with variety and mouth watering feast. Thanks you for joy, laughter, and inspiration in my day.
KIM! I saw something that may help you with your board game situation. Put them in frames and hang them on the wall in the play room. Put all the pieces in a baggy and hang on the back of the frame. The board will stay in perfect condition and easy cleanup!
Watching this while deep cleaning my office! Had to rewind a few times-but this was my favorite "Visit with Kim" to date. Loved this video and so appreciate all that you do to encourage us!! Also enjoyed seeing the "cameo" appearances by the family. Definitely gonna try a couple of the recipes!
Thanks for the tip about precooking the peppers in the microwave for 15 minutes. I have only made stuffed peppers once and they were pretty much raw. My husband gave an immediate thunbs-down for that. Thanks, as always, for the fun and entertaining time spent with you.
Kim you need to get the any list app for your groceries. You can link with Alexa to make your grocery list. It adds the items by category, so shopping is easy! Check it out!
I use food storage buckets too. I have 4 buckets of sugar. One with of each flour. One of rice. I stock up everything you would ever need. Enough for a year or so. i put bay leaves in my flour buckets. Love watching you. You make me laugh and give good ideas and meals.
Kim, the best way to have back stock of items is to buy 2 when they’re on sale. Then when ever you empty the first one, you put on your shopping list. Purchase one, and you will always have the extra in the pantry. Yes, a rubber mallet is the easiest way to put the ring on, then add the screw on lid.
I have to get some necessary groceries ( fruit and some veggies) today but it’s time for my bulk shopping soon too, just waiting for the right day to go. I store butter in freezer all the time, ones I need are kept in the refrigerator.
Love the sweater Kim, it is beautiful and the color looks great on you!!! Hope Wolfgang is giving you a bit more time to do things. My daughter and her hubby had their first 6 months ago. She is such a wonderful blessing. I sit for her 2 to 3 days a week, bring a me such joy!
Back some 47 odd years ago when my parents broke ground on this house, "they said" that if you wanted an excellent lawn and productive soil you needed to plant potatoes. Back then we had 1 potato (famous) in Belgium, called the "bintje" and you could fry it, and cook with it, it came out really nice. I think you guys' Whole Foods sells them and really big ones too. Back here you can no longer get them, what 40/50 years all changes right? So my dad had potatoes 3 years in a row before he got infested with beetles. Ugh. No more potatoes after that, but you should see all our plants and rose bushes out here right now? Supreme!
I do think you're on the right track for getting your life together. It's always amazed me the difference between your grocery shopping and mine. I do envy you for being able to get strawberries. I'll have to wait until may/June. Bonne journée Kim et bon appétit

Good morning wadsquad and happy Saturday ! Let’s put a little happy in our day today and start the morning off right hanging out with Kim ! Our bestie ❤❤
We went to the strawberry festival a few years ago! It was nothing like how I remembered it as a kid and it was so expensive crowded hot and expensive lol The dog show was fun for the kids, we always get a strawberry shortcake but we end up leaving and just getting some Strawberries from the locals 😁 The parking is insane too, I'm going to miss going to Clearwater/Safety Harbor since both my grandparents have passed away 2019 and 2022. So many memories I learned to swim at their house and we used to go to Philippe Park every other weekend.
I’ve been using Macro Friendly food since last summer. You made one of the cake recipes and I was sold! It really has been a game changer. The best part is being able to easily plug the meals into MyfitnessPal

Get some foldable/ calapsible laundry baskets u can keep in ur car, to use when u get the flay back trolleys... that way u can pile stuff in and it won't fall off
I have the same trouble with the pail lids. Even worse I tried to put them on on the garage which was cold. After I finally got the lid on, I realized it may have helped if I had used the heat gun and warmed the plastic. I’m going to try it next time. I have had success with the rubber mallet I the past. Not this time.
Our eggs are $7.00 for a 12 pack of store brand. I got chickens in April. They are so much fun. The each have different personalities. ❤️ They are the easiest animals to care for. I love my girls.
I buy those storage buckets at Home Depot, and ask them to put the lids on for me. They will do it! As for eggs, with the price or can't even get them, I freeze some. Take those muffin silicone things, and take one egg at a time and break the yolk and stir it with a fork. Put each egg in one. (note they pop off so easy after frozen) Placing them on a cookie sheet. When you have the amount you want, place the cookie sheet of them in the freezer. Once frozen take them out and pop off the muffin part, and put them in a Zip Lock bag. Great for adding to foods after thawing. Just take out the amount you will need for a recipe, and thaw over night in the frig. They are great for baking and in dishes. If you don't break the yolk, it will give you a different texture you don't want. Doing this you will have eggs when the store is out! You can also use them for scrambled eggs, but I like them for other things.
Thanks for the Spanish rice recipe. Going to try it out this week. I vacation in Treasure Island every year in May and I love Pirate Days but they no longer have it.
Yes!! To the strawberry festival!!! I love it! Great bands this year also!!! And yes!!! To gasparilla!!!! I love the adult parade! 😂...yes it gets a bit crazy but not as crazy as the mama guava stubble night parade! 😂 Shoot whoot! Tampa is the best for all the fun!
I've lived in Florida my whole life and I keep a bag of flour I'm using in the refrigerator and extra 5lb bags in the freezer. Flour has a tendency to go rancid quickly in Florida. I hope your storage option works.
Kim You go girl!!! Just an idea for the hamburger, we brown 3 lbs at a time, and just break what we need for a quick meal. Now mind "we" are my hubby and myself, unless the kids, grandkids come over. But it is definitely a Big-time saver for sure. Love your channel, your family and you! GOD Bless you!!!
I've been keeping bulk foods in 5 gal buckets with the gamma lids for a while and just wanted to throw some advice at you. When I first pick up my flour and rice or any whole grains, I put them in the freezer for at least 3 days but usually a week, take them out and let them thaw for 24 hours, then put them in the buckets for storage. This reassures that anything in those bags that might hatch won't. Years ago I lost a whole bucket of flour due to weevils. It's sickening to think they are there, I know. 🤢
Chickens are easy and the best! And besides eggs, you can give them most of your kitchen scraps! Cutting back on your garbage waste. For example, when I clean and cut my strawberries I give my chickens the tops.
God Bless.
