Bro, “This is not the History Channel,” I love it. I’m going to quote you on that in my next review! I didn’t realize that Askaig was sourced, very interesting.
Funny thing is my son just bought me a sample of this again. Had a wee taste and it is even better this time. Good price point. Thanks for watching. Happy new year
That one will have come from the Caol Ila distillery (as with most Port Askaigs, although the 28-year-old is Laphroaig and the 45-year-old is Bunnahabhain - there may be one or two other exceptions) and I tend to find citrus notes/light fruit in all their whiskies.
Interesting dear Gert, I always add a few 💧 drops then if necessary a few more. Sounds like an interesting dram. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Well done! Ciao 👋 S.
Another great review - thank you! I think you are a few steps ahead of me on your whisky journey but i think your channel is the best for me to help me pick out flavours. Cheers.

Lol. Cheers.
It’s Caol Isla
I want some of this whiskey to be transported to a BBQ on the beach. Cheers .y friend.
Sounds like a plan
I picked up the last bottle of this at my local abc, I’m sad I didn’t pick up more. I believe it was around $75-$80 American. Delicious juice.

Now that is something I would like to try…. Cheers Andrew.
I'm cheering you on LOL
Lol. Feed me Seymour. Need to get some more peated drams. It’s a virus I tell you. 😂
