Watched three recent videos this morning. Always learn so much about the airplanes. Now I know the purpose of the engine in the back of the aircraft and the red lights on the top and on the belly. So cool! Love your energy. Keep flying safe bud!!

Love the interesting things about airplanes coming from Omaha and a military base at that just dealing with leukemia and it keeps my mind busy hopefully Pete will come back to Omaha we have a lot of great stuff to do❤
The weather in LA is normal for June. There’s a saying we have in SoCal and it’s “June gloom”
Well, I'm retired now, after about 30+ years at majors (CAL and UAL). So, I've seen a lot of equipment and? The B757/767 are great, especially left seat.
I did greatly enjoy the DC-10, very comfortable and with good seniority in the right seat I hung on for quite a while.
You've jumpseated on the MD-11, so you know. More automation, no F/E of course.

thanks for watching! Honestly, there are only BAD parts if you let them be bad, just like in life. Not to sound corny, but thats how I view my job. Commuting is "bad", I show that, and dont like it. But I dont let it ruin my day. I take naps, catch up on emails, read, etc. to turn the bad parts of my job into tolerable ones!

Yes, that was the first terminal when LAX was called Mines Field. I think DHL has their operation there now.

Lol can't blame the vacation on that landing. At Ups we have better vacation rules, and I was out for 2 months and buttered my first landing back.

I’ve flown into ABQ numerous times-thermals are a way of life. (But it’s dry heat-LOL). The Sandia Mountains proximity to the airport does require special procedures-especially in IFR conditions. Too bad your short layover doesn’t give you the opportunity to check out New Mexican cuisine-different from Mexican and very good! Love your reports and confessions of a bad landing.

Your videos are just amazing.. simple, “comfortable” to watching every single one.. if we looked at, is always the same routine but you know how to make it so nice to watch in specific ways specially when you show and explain something about the plane. I wish to had an opportunity to be a pilot.😢 all I can do now is to watching your videos and play Flight Simulator 😅😅😅😅. And guess what, one of my favorite planes is the Triple7 with the FEDEX livery and the other one the Private Jet VISION JET G2. ❤❤❤❤

That structure at LAX is officially called Hangar No.1. It's in the national historical registration of places and a Los Angeles historical landmark. It's the first structure constructed at Mine's Field the former name of LAX.

Always enjoy Your Episodes. You seem to do mostly daytime trips. What happened to the "classic" FedEx overnight trips into the Memphis hub from all over the country, then after the big Sort, flights back out to originating cities to get overnight packages delivered? Are You part of a separate Team / How did You avoid all the night flying?

If someone live in Memphis or Indy, would the company pay for an Uber/taxi for them to get to and from the airport? I think you said you have a travel bank. How does that work?
They never pay for the Ubers directly, it is money I have in my travel bank from deviating, or canceling my flight from/to MEM on a deadhead. So I bank that money and use it for Ubers
