Hello Pete love your content. I really enjoy watching and learning about the pilot life. I am a dispatcher at Atlas Air so it’s nice to see the other side of things. I about fell out my chair when you showed up at governors Island. I grew up there as a kid when it was a Coast Guard base. My dad was stationed there in the Coast Guard and flew out of Floyd Bennett field. Love seeing that again and you’re right amazing views! Keep up the great work!!

Hi Pete! I see you flying into Ontario International Airport in California once in a while. I live near that airport. It's a great alternative to congested LAX! In fact, I'll be flying to Asia soon out of Ontario on China Airlines!

The most stressful part of flying for me is getting the medical done since I’m on a Special Issuance for Type 1 diabetes. Only 24 but have to renew every 6 months. Also, the urine test looks for protein which could signify kidney damage, it also is looking for sugar in the urine which would indicate diabetes.

Hey could you explain in a bit about how a private pilot “create” the flight plan ? Like, if i want to fly from my hometown Orlando to San Francisco. What is the procedure? What’s the procedure about pay the all airport fees and fuel?
There’s a lot of ways. Too many to discuss in a comment. VFR, IFR? You pay the fees, the airport direct bills you and mails you the bill
Jumpseated on 67 a month a go and wish i would have asked this ? But i noticed you don’t fly the morning flights very much so I was wondering how difficult is it to bid the afternoon vs the morning flights because it seems like the seniority that flies different flights seems to have a variety.
Luckily I am able to hold the day flying. It’s not “hard” it’s just whatever is available at your seniority. As of now, I can hold it

So, Pete, if you would have to reject a take-off, thrust levers to idle, speed breaks up, but what would initiate the plane to auto-break in the RTO position? Is there a button to push?
They are automatically activated, about 80 knots as soon as the Thrust levers idle and speed brake deployed

FAA/company policy does not allow it for part 121 ops 99% of the time sadly. In very rare instances they will allow it but from what I've seen from other pilots who go through the process even if they're granted permission (which is rare) its a hassle lol.
