- We found an amazing park up and also a not so good one.
This is our first real off-grid trip away in the van and it's currently day 3 and everything has been amazing so far! Still got 200ah of power and plenty of water :D
Finding somewhere to park up is a little tricky, park4night is okay but there's not many spots in rural areas and they tend to just be lay-bys. I ended up hunting down my own spots on google maps and with a little patience you can find a decent spot to stay.
Becky came here for work but Digby and I went on some fun walks, got soaked and muddy but we have a shower so its all good! Leicestershire is gorgeous, well the area we stayed at outside of Loughborough is anyway and being off-grid is just the best!

Great video. That van is worth the work you put into it. Do you have a water conserving shower head, like Nebia? I always see them being advertised. But I'm sure there are other brands as well. I'm just thinking that if they work as promised, you could have a longer shower.
The shower head is supposed to be water saving which is why I got it, it still seems to push out a lot of water though but it’s more misty than our shower at home so maybe the particles are smaller. It’s a great shower head though and for £12 it was a great buy, I think we’ll get one for the house too.
