      @@justinvonmoss6925 While I cannot speak for him, you really need to take value here and actually apply it. Make sure we are hearing and listening. Focus on two things. Mental, and fundamentals. Learn how to punish. Dont let laners dictate your flow. They want a gank? Well think of their champ, the champ youre ganking. And how successful it will be. Is this worth more than clearing my section to farm? No? Sorry. You're going to make decisions your laners dont like. But your goal is to get your farm and help your teammates, via vision, coms, ganks, objs.
      Also admit your mistakes! It allows you to grow. And let the practice show itself over time. Make sure your comfortable with your champ as well, understand their limits and strength.
      TL;DR, Don't tilt yourself, keep safe options. Punish the Jungler when you have the knowledge to do such. Flaming teammates helps no one, and distracts even yourself. Good luck!

    Love the video and the content. As a trash tier yi main, I need to work on this high consistency approach to the game rather than going for BDE Yi plays that don't have value. I think the thoughts on tempo and "kills that mean" nothing are good points that I need to be mindful of. I'd love to see you do champion deep dives, meta analysis, and more "principles" and "practices" content. What I like about this video is how you laid out the principles first and did a playthrough and explained them as you applied them. That kind of content is very pedagogical for the novice like me and extremely helpful.

    This is well put together! At 26:00 how about running to Yi's bot side camps, isn't that the higher % play to make? Or is the potential play in bot lane worth more?

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому +1

      Yeah good pickup, I think honestly you're right and that it is a bigger punish for him showing on grubs. I think you could argue how valuable cycling your own red side camps so they spawn right after the wolves (wanting to always keep stacks up on lillia) and also being closer to bot lane incase a fight breaks out by doing krugs. But good point nonetheless 👍

    Hey! I have a quick question about timestamp 27:03. What is your reasoning/decision to recall here? Would it be a bad play to walk into Yi's jungle either for info or to steal a camp? Or does that lose you too much tempo?

    Hey, thank you so much for the video, I think it was really really good and I can implement a lot of what u said in my games. But I must say, it was hard following ur mind process sometimes, even as a Diamond Jungler, so the lower Elos might struggle understanding some points u mentioned, I believe. I think for Emerald+ its an awesome video, that every jungler should watch, for lower elos those fundamentals might be too many to focus on, maybe focus only on the 3-5 most important parts for that.

    Most of the times when I jungle, I ward the enemy buff to track their jungler and it works out fine for the first 6 minutes or so, but then after my first clear... I just lose sight of everything. If I lose track of the enemy jungler once, it's very hard to re-determine what camps they have up without actually going into their jungle to check. Anyways, great video, I'm subscribing rn

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому +1

      This is already a great start. I think its pretty normal to feel like it is harder to track the enemy jungler as the game progresses and random things happen / objectives spawn. Your tracking is just a guestimate, do not assume you will always be right, you should only make decisions based of 100% information (the enemy jungler showing on vision).

    great video!
    i got one question though: isn't the pick at 29:14 a high variance play considering that both draven and yi are missing? imagine this bush being warded, rell jumps on you and then the maokai probabaly dies as well.
    correct me if i'm wrong, you're the pro

  • @xASIANxMENACEx

    Can you elaborate on when to take yellow vs red trinket? Was always told to get red straight away after I drop a ward at the beginning.

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому +2

      I think its game dependent but whenever you use both wards changing to red trinket reduces the cooldown so its valuable to do it then. Typically you want to drop a ward to track the enemy jg at the beginning of the game as late as possible (1min+) so you wont have time to recall and switch to sweeper. Then after you clear and drop your second ward at 4mins before recalling is when it becomes a good idea to switch to red trinket. Hope this helps 👍

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому +1

      Typically after your first clear to reduce the cooldown but it also just comes down to what you think will have more impact in that particular game.

    I'd like to see this serialized. As in a playlist of individual videos. Almost every bullet point in here is worth their own 30-to-60-minute video. I feel like here the concepts are just briefly explained with a minor example. How about making an actionable learning plan for each topic.

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому

      I completely agree that each of these fundamentals could be a 60minute video, however I also believe that having a basic understanding for players first learning these concepts is more beneficial than overloading them with information. In future videos I may go over specific fundamentals more thoroughly, thanks for the feedback!

    One thing I want to see is full walk throughs for low ranks. I do not mean what you normally see as a full walk through. Challenger players do for walkers they end up getting 10 kills by 10 minutes and then they’re trying to explain to you how to play the mid game,
    late game, and team fights when they have twice as much gold as their opponents but it’s not comparable to where I will be at that point in time.
    I need guides for how to play at any point in the game from even, or behind. I don’t need to know how to finish a game when you are playing Yi and have 40 kills.
    How do you play Zac in bronze when you are 1/2/4 at 14:00 and you got your mid laner ahead, but your bot and top are feeding?
    Or what do you do when you’re trying to hit 6 on nocturne but being invaded and your laners with prio won’t come.

    The mentality needed to be at the top of the video lol
    Just last game I played I was going top and our jg yi (bronze elo) got in a flame war with mid for not helping with an early gank from a Lee sin... I was watching. I would've just let him take Krug and gone top but instead he wasted 30 seconds watching Lee steal camps and then died

    • @JungleGapGG
      @JungleGapGG  11 місяців тому +1

      The first grub kill gives 150xp so very good if you take it on spawn. Otherwise from my experience unless you have either 5 or 6 grubs they are a waste of time and your tempo is better spent elsewhere.

      @@JungleGapGG What's most important is to use the word "Fundamentals" and explain all the meanings behind it, which you properly did. Some people throw out the keyword without explaining what it means and just leaves players more confused. Don't worry about it, this video is amazing and I can tell you're providing challenger-player knowledge even if you didn't say it at the start.
