The headers are fine at 2" understand only one pipe is pushing at a time per header in a timed manner the venturi shaped end flange will increase velocity and that's a good thing to help scavenge any residual burnt gasses ...I'm positive the header company tested many prototypes before they released the final product ... no worries ... Bolt them on 😊

I am here to help out. And yes the just because your oil drained all the way down to the oil pan.. and on a cold start it kinda start not dry but just very little oil... then wen the oil pressure picks up and all the vaines of the oil are fully pressure up the sounds gose away
The dynatech headers don’t come ceramic coated as a standard. It’s an option that cost a few hundred more dollars. Did the owner of project Gabby pay extra for the ceramic coating or buy the standard dynatech which is uncoated 304SS?
I have a 2002 Lightning and looking to do exhaust, but doesn't seem that there is a kit out there for them. Wanting to go long tube. Do you have part numbers for the exhaust system you used for project Gabby. Headers mufflers X pipe etc. I know there will be fabrication involved, but not much info on it out there. Thank you, Sir
On the headers depending on what u want and budget. I would buy some pace headers they run about 280. And I would make a custom 3" exhaust with X pipe and I can buy the exhaust u want. I've looked for some cat back kits and most are 2" pipes they have restriction. On power
U do need to get a tune and it depends if i buy the o2 extension the service won't come on. But on most cases when u add headers they eliminate the rear o2 sensor and tbey just leve the front ones and u won't have any codes
@@boosteddave4603 thank you! I got the driver's side in from the side very easily and was even able to use studs (I don't have immediateaccess to bolts). I'm doing the passenger side tomorrow. Did you have to remove anything anything other than the fender liner and wheel for extra room?

Dont cut the headers! I can guarantee you will lose power. The pinch on the exhaust that goes from 3.5 to 2.5 is there to create a increase scavenging effect. Do some research on scavenging effect and the results will shock you. This is not a restriction. I can guarantee you of this information.
Not at all. Just make sure not to brake any manifold bolts.. and if u want u can remove your starter to have more space.. the easy side is the driver side
@@boosteddave4603 So best thing is to spray the bolts first? I took my mufflers off because I had a bad rattle now I don’t know if the cats are plugged up but it’s still hesitating to get up to speed so I’m thinking of just pulling that off and putting headers on there

The same bassani mid pipes that came with the kit they have high flow cats on them bro

Around 15hp plus when u tune it u will get more out of them
