- The weather may have changed my plans to go on a hike, but damn did it give me an amazing view. The Santa Monica Mountains are one of my favorite places to visit. Twisty canyon roads and amazing vistas. I hope you enjoy the view as much as I did!

Hi,
Smoking is not allowed in the Santa Monica Mountains, but neither is driving 75mph on the freeway. I was sitting on a bare rock in the humid fog with a bottle of water and carried everything out with me. I'm well aware of the dangers of wildfires. Solstice Canyon, my original destination, actually features the foundations of homes burned in past fires. I'll show you when I go.
Also, if you're curious, I'm sober until my shirt comes off at 3:17. Do you notice any difference? I notice my emotions take much more presence. I'll probably do a video about that whole topic soon. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to see!
Wouldn't you think riding a motocycle and huffing the MJ is a bit dangerous. Don't get me wrong, i love weed, but not to the point where i'd put myself and OTHERS at risk of an accident.

That’s it!!! Packing my bags, quitting my job, selling my car and moving to LA lol. J/K of course. I had forgotten how beautiful it can be up in the mountains with the clouds rolling in. I was on those same roads 20 years ago and brought back great memories. Thanks for making the video and I hope you post more.

Great to hear that you like the environment in LA and the motorcycle riding opportunities. I used to own a Porsche and loved those canyon roads. Stick with it Brian....you'll find a partner to ride with and hopefully more. I saw your Tweet about the bar scene you don't like but there are many many ways to meet partner material. Please post a little video once in a while to keep us informed. Cheers my friend.
I love the Santa Monica Mountains. Great hiking trails (Ray Miller, Sandstone Peak, anything on the backbone trail) and great climbing areas (malibu creek and echo cliffs.)

I used to commute across the Golden Gate Bridge from SF to Marin for like 6 years & I loved watching the marine layer (fog) do its thing. Looked like milk ding dropped on the mountains on the headlands. Everyday would be different.
I have been following you for a while when you were coupled in NYC, the breakup, the move, and your budding love affair with California. I am relating to a lot to your exploration of California's natural wonders. I first moved to California in 1982 with my lover (now my husband - 40 years together). I remember sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean, smoking a fat doobie, and feeling so lucky to there. You are at a great age to make this transition and I wish you success with your journey. There are some wonderful nude beaches up and down the California coast and I recommend you consider checking out the scene.
I can definitely see nude beaches in my future 😜
There are many options, but in your neck of the woods Black's Beach in La Jolla is unforgettable. There is a lot of people(thousands on nice a weekend), but mostly "EZ on the eyes" students from UC San Diego. www.theauthenticgay.com/best-gay-beaches-california/

I know that it's a little bit of a drive for you, but I highly highly recommend Zion National Park if you can get to it. Probably the best park in the country.

I can’t stand it when motorcycles come up between cars in traffic and then they say watch out for motorcycles? Very dangerous.
Same.. I cringe when I see a motorcycle flying between stopped traffic.
