i want to get one of those, i played a demo of the game it comes with and when i turned clutch assist off, it really is like an actual car, if you come to a stop w/o clutching, the engine dies. it's brilliant!
the hand breake is at the stearing wheel that plate button u have behind the stearing wheel , u push that up and it will do that shifting , that allready set on need for speed , but u can adjust it manuelly if the game u have doesnt support this system ....
i just got this wheel and it is amazing!!! i got mine on pixmania for €185 expensive but worth it!!! but i woundn't recommend getting it if you are not willing to learn manual driving!! :D
That's a good question. I'd like to know how realistic it is, too. "Xxmacexx04" didn't answer your question - I really think he's just here to show off his run-on sentence skills. I, too, am curious if you could stall out a car with the G25...
in case u didnt know, you dont need the handbrake to drift... drifting with the handbrake requires less skill to drift, its for newbies or if want to get just a lil more angle in ur drift
@tanveerahmed2007 not sure, but i highly doubt it, microsft usualy only allows there own products to be compatible with xbox. such as the headset and hard drive.
I don't think he was really in2 d game, guys, he was merely just giving a rough demonstration of the steering wheel, not of the actual game or how to drive. He probably just saw it and for someone new to a peripheral, you may not know all the functions of that wheel. He was more like just testing it, not play professionally. Plus it was more of an interview and review for the wheel. When interviewing some1, your mind is focused on what the other person has to say so u can reply reasonably.
I just got a g25 system for free today... seems cool! But what is the best PC game to use with it? I see people mentioning GTA and GT5... any better/others?
Well, you clamp it to your table, but it's a pretty quick manoeuvre, and not a permanent installation. You will need to do this with both the wheel and the shifter. Think about it. If the wheel isn't stuck to the table it's going to move around as you turn. If not that, the power of the FF in this baby would toss it across the room.
I have a question about this steering wheel, hopefully someone can answer. Does it need to be bolted down or anything? I don't wanna have to bolt down the wheel or shifter because I plan on moving it from room to room. If I don't bolt it down will it be sturdy? I mean the shifter seems like something that will move without being bolted down or anything.
Wow you can really tell that guy has never played a sim before. I was like that when I first started with a wheel. I just ordered this wheel to replace my cheap but trusty momo.
A 6 speed shifter is not a "first for the market". I hate how Logitech is saying that in this video and no their product page. Act Labs did it first with a 7 speed shifter. If you want to get technical (or be a smart alec), yes it is a first 6 speed shifter, but not the first shifter.
i know i cant wait for that omg thats my dream to have is hand break stick shift and all control i use mine on my ps2 with nfs most wanted and also NFS and drift and its soooo much easyer and funner
yes u can stall out but it depends on the game i play live for speed and u can stall btw does any1 know a good force feedback setting mines is eaither to strong or 2 weal
ive build my own pedals and wheel , so ive learned something and that is that racing wheels and other joysticks and gamepads , use MIDI for communication with PC, and one channel of MIDI has 127 values assigned to it . What does that mean, it means that every cheep Pc controller has 127 fixed positions in game , can be less can not be more. There is the problem , i have metal wheel with high sensitivity motion detector but pc only sees 127 fixed positions. Does anyone know what kind of language does logitech use with their wheels. Is it same crap MIDI as cheaper products , or is it something else that i can buy so that my wheel would have more then just 127 positions?
Yeah... probably NEW to this whole concept.. so seems like he is trying to concentrate on driving but cant because hes trying to do the interview... but really wants to get into the game...
the G25 is a better wheel buy miles no competition but if you want a microsoft wheel you be using the wheel on xbox 360 and the g25 doset support the xbox so it depends on what system your using if pc or playstation G25 wheel but if xbox the microsoft wheel
Still doesn't tell us how it works, Comeone HSW give me a 3D drawing show us how something works, not how good it is or what it does. HSW is really going in the wrong direction these days.
He wasn't the best driver to demonstrate that wheel heh. No wheel is going to have the right feel driving in 3rd person view over the car like that. They didn't even show the shifter and pedals in action. Let the girl drive and show her hands and feet working.
i want to get one of those, i played a demo of the game it comes with and when i turned clutch assist off, it really is like an actual car, if you come to a stop w/o clutching, the engine dies. it's brilliant!
Damn its been 16 years
LOL!!! The guy was going to give her a handshake at the end but she went away. Hahaha
Wow, nice driving :)
this is the video that first came up to me when i wanted to buy g25, back in 2009
the hand breake is at the stearing wheel that plate button u have behind the stearing wheel , u push that up and it will do that shifting ,
that allready set on need for speed , but u can adjust it manuelly if the game u have doesnt support this system ....
I love this thing with GTR2!
Very good product.
i just got this wheel and it is amazing!!!

ya, i'm thinking about using it to learn the second nature of shifting
lol @ her face at 2:31 , thinking what a freaking noob xD
@tanveerahmed2007 not sure, but i highly doubt it, microsft usualy only allows there own products to be compatible with xbox. such as the headset and hard drive.
the xbox wheel is awsome actually, I have one and Im almost perminantly attached to it!
I don't think he was really in2 d game, guys, he was merely just giving a rough demonstration of the steering wheel, not of the actual game or how to drive. new r35 has paddle shifting and the beamer is 7 speed automatic..6speed manual
therefore i dont see any problems :D
@blackjin21 it is no more :( u gotta get the G27 now
You ain't joking - man, who is this guy?
I just got a g25 system for free today... seems cool! But what is the best PC game to use with it? I see people mentioning GTA and GT5... any better/others?

Been 15 years damn
Just ordered one for a bit over 100 dollar XD
That G25 is dropping in price now there is an G27 coming.
Her standard answer to everything is ´absolutely´.
6-speed??? What happends when you drive a M5 or M6 with 7 speed??? Or a Skyline Sedan with 8 speed
hmm good point lol
how bout you could dump the clutch to give you a good drift
"only a couple of hundred miles an hour" LOL
Wow you can really tell that guy has never played a sim before. I was like that when I first started with a wheel. I just ordered this wheel to replace my cheap but trusty momo.
u use the flappy paddel gear box
at the end she is gives like a "he's weird" head shake haha
I lol'd when I saw 3rd person view.
It's realistic because everyone drives their car while sitting on an invisible seat behind the car.
u guys in the UK look on ebay 2 find a well conditioned logitech g25 4 sale
It looks like they have the 900 degrees in the profiler, but the game is 240, 540, or whatever
does it have a hand brake? what if u wanna drift in gt 5 ? where is the hand brake ?
Why would you use the behind-car view with a steering wheel?!?
how does the clutch pedal work?
shit i loved that... should put that on a T shirt... lol

This person has to drive in cockpit view. It is way easier to control that way and feels more realistic.
Because that man is a spanner.
i know i cant wait for that omg thats my dream to have is hand break stick shift and all control i use mine on my ps2 with nfs most wanted and also NFS and drift and its soooo much easyer and funner
yes u can stall out but it depends on the game i play live for speed and u can stall btw does any1 know a good force feedback setting mines is eaither to strong or 2 weal
where?
So have a nice day! XD
Yeah, the G25 uses a USB port, but I doubt any 360 games will be compatible with it. Logitech must have some special relationship with Sony.
Re: videoshare123
Of course i do :P :)
Sometimes it just takes a little understanding.
dooes it work for need for speed hot pursuit 2 for PC?
If the dude can't drive, it doesn't matter what he uses. Prolly be the same way in a real car for him.
@grandpascloset GTR 2
GT Legends
Richard Burns Rally (my favorite, it's really hard though)
I don't think he really liked it. His driving was terrible... going all over the place! hahaha

loooool tru mate very true
im canadian and i sure can
Yeah... probably NEW to this whole concept.. so seems like he is trying to concentrate on driving but cant because hes trying to do the interview... but really wants to get into the game...
does the H shifter works on ps2
why do you need 900 degrees ?:S
is it for xbox?
does it work for xbox 360
umm actually its because xbox makes there racing wheel and pedal set.
Yes apparently it does, no idea what games
Handshake Fail [at the end]
@kelstewart ever heard of i didnt ask u
its not a hard concpet to grasp
one big minus - no hand brake... how I suppose to drift with no hand brake...?
lol did you see the face she made at the end was like oh yeah thx for stoping buy and wasting my time rofl
the G25 is a better wheel buy miles no competition but if you want a microsoft wheel you be using the wheel on xbox 360 and the g25 doset support the xbox so it depends on what system your using if pc or playstation G25 wheel but if xbox the microsoft wheel
Chase wiew ! Ha ha ha ha ha ha !!!
ya cause u use e-break all the time on a race track in racing cars arnt u
A NASCAR with 900 degrees of lock? Hmmm.... He couldn't keep in on the track because it was setup up wrong.
I ordered mine NEW for 241$ just yesterday! :D Im so exited! (P: that guy sucks at that game)

oh shyt $299
The wheel looks a bit small other than that it looks sxc
he cant concentrate on playing and doing the interview at the same time.
Yo, man. Don't get so heated! Can I borrow a dollar? Will you take me to Mickey-D's? What about 401-K, reach-around with AN education on top?
Or it's for setting up for a slow, tight hairpin.
it's much easier with a wheel
@tanveerahmed2007 no
did she just sayd- 299? as 299 :( d-a-m-n
why run in external view with this? hahahaha
Leather? Really? It's a game controller. What race car has a leather-wrapped steering wheel?
GTR2
lol true
Still doesn't tell us how it works, Comeone HSW give me a 3D drawing show us how something works, not how good it is or what it does. HSW is really going in the wrong direction these days.

He wasn't the best driver to demonstrate that wheel heh. No wheel is going to have the right feel driving in 3rd person view over the car like that. They didn't even show the shifter and pedals in action. Let the girl drive and show her hands and feet working.
