@@patologTV anytime, friend. I try to watch whenever I can, but between work, social obligations, and Christmas my time is even more limited. Still, always eager to support a quality channel when I can.
FEAR enemies are just so darn fun to fight. Glad you went all out action for this DLC. No damage is cool and all but holding down the trigger of the smg and sailing into a room full of goons is just epic :)
I'm really glad you'll play this one. I enjoyed Extraction Point, however I think they got lazy with the story at this one after delivering a great one in the original FEAR.
Ambiguous more like, as if they did a Neon Genesis Evangelion with the expansions, as a contrast to going The Omen and Elfen Lied for the official sequels.
@@michaelandreipalon359 FEAR have many MGS easter eggs or similarities, apart of the protagonist and primary antagonist be clones and brothers created by some obscure military-company. Curiosly the bad guys use MI24-Hind chopper to move troops and attack, like Outer Heaven and FOXHOUND. And we can forget the end credits phone calls in the first one like in most of MGS games.
I still remember the first time when I play this game, found it accidentaly on random youtube search...the graphics and amount of brutality (even I prefer the 2nd one) is amazed me until rn
Whoooo! so great to see you go back to one of the classics, love the game, love the way you handled these encounters, the usual pato excellence. That slow mo effect on some of those dramatic fights is just so fun, and I Know its not a no damage run..and hoenstly I don't care. this was FUN to watch, and you hardly got hit anyway. maybe al ittle armor dings here or their...barely noticed it :D
despite the dodgy non canon continuation of the story, i've really enjoyed playing through this expansion. all the new content, plus arguably some of the most badass and intense gunfights in the whole franchise, more than makes up for it.
When I read about this on your community page, I knew the gaming gods had answered my prayers. I desperately needed a high-quality play-/walkthrough for the expansions! The only downer is that you don't seem to bother closing the doors behind you as much as you used to, and you keep banging open doors with the butt of your gun. But other than that, I'm more than happy you finally got around to doing them. 😃 ... Even though the reason is the current hardware status of your PC. 😉
The closing of the doors seemed to bother some viewers and retrospectively I feel like it was a bit unnecessary and odd to do that in a game like Fear, so I conquered my OCD demons and opted not to do it this time :D
Replica forces are reactivating, Paxton Fettel got revived in some fashion and Alma is still out there. Alma especially has to be stopped. Even with her insanity and vengeful nonsense, she can be humiliated into defeat.
I played that game, and is OK but doesn't feel like FEAR. A lot of people (me too) wanted to be a direct sequel to Extraction Point, when the Point Man awake from the Alma sequence and that level is used like a tutorial fighting replicas only to be captured by ATC in the end of the expansion. I still have hopes one day FEAR will be FEAR again.

The Replica Assassins aren't even that scary. 9:46: Aw, poop, there goes no damage. 11:08: Fragmentation Grenades are back. 11:31: Proximity Mines are back. 13:28: So Alma's now a hide-and-seek proctor? What a silly mother. 14:16: Don't bother searching. Your journeying shall lead you to her. 18:30: Fettel into Nosferatu? Anyway, you can shoot at him, from which he'll just walk away and vanish. Makes sense Alma isn't into churches. A poor monster will easily think she either shunned God, or God shunned her.
Nice! Was hoping to see you continue into the expansions. Still holds up and looking good as ever. Can't wait for more of this.

Subscribed. Your walkthroughs are epic. Master class in my view.
It's so spooky, i was just looking for FEAR playthroughs and obviously i checked your channel first, and behold, FRESH video of the game i wanted!
Oh man , FEAR is one of my all time favorite games, really really happy to see you, The Master , play it !
Your F.E.A.R. work is beyond legendary, Pato (I remember those insane HV Penetrator headshots)! I can't tell you how excited I am to see this DLC!
I love this game I will watch these videos with maximum pleasure.

Ah yes, some good old Pato action!
Enjoy :)

Get this in the known your prototype: _Point Man_ is the first, then _Paxton Fettel_ being second.

Hell yeah some high-octane action! The chain reaction of you throwing a grenade and it triggering all the gas canisters was awesome!

Best Christmas present....EVER! lol
Nice finally finishing the fear franchise
I don't think Pato would play 3 given how off it was compared to 1, but would be fun to see what he could do with it.
I assume this comment is in the assumption that only the first game and Extraction Point are canon?

Dodgy, probably, but not as exceeding as the sequels.

Was she really stopped in this expansion and the next, though?
How hard is the extreme difficulty? Was it too easy or quite hard? Also, how many tries you complete mission 1?
It's a solid challenge, a bit more difficult than the main game on Extreme.
Yeah the extreme mode in expansion packs are harder than the main game because you take much more damage in expansion-extreme mode.
