Man the coordination on some of those fight scenes was amaaazing. Story wise I love the weird...protector vibes / murder vibes at the same time your starting to get from Alma at this point. What a solid expansion to this game. My favorite part was definetly when you got ahold of the lazor sniper rifle and started making skeletons out of everyone >:D

I’ll always love these FEAR games. Like seriously the AI for the time is GODLY good. That and the games itself are fantastic as well
The A.I. is good, but it really benefits more in the level design of the main game and this expansion.
Kind of a shame Perseus Mandate's level design may seem a bit lacking in close inspection.

an excellent game that deserved a remake.
It sure does remake a remake or reboot.
In case they remake or reboot it, they need to put some implements, like put sights to aim better, hit indicator, better slow-mo movement, more new things and the most important THE FLASHLIGHT BATTERY.
@@michaelandreipalon359 Thats the other problem with remaking, they new developers put some "changes" that are unnecessary and the diehard fans (I am one) don't want in there.

@@mikekomarinski You nailed. Dead Space is one of my favorite franchise about space-horror combined. When I saw what they do with Isaac, My blood boiled so hard that will burn even the Thing's cells.
In My opinion the only remaking I will do in FEAR 1 is change a little the pathfinding and add more combat tactics, the history I will leave it there, only adding some hints in the end that show the conection of Alma with Paxton and her father.

You missed an Alma encounter. After beating the Replica Heavy, you have to backtrack a little ways and then see young Alma walking past in the far distance (behind the closed gates).

Men I love that game. The music, the levels design, the gameplay and the history.
Sadly not sequel yet, plus the last work of Nicholas Worth know for be the Soviet Premier Alexander Romanov in Red Alert 2.
A real good game, coming from the makers of Hitman.
Does get hard near the end.
Do like the repeating cannon.
The repeating cannon is my favorite weapon in the original game. Sadly is very hard to find enough ammo to full it complete and for that you must use it wisely.

The civilians and military seen in this game are mostly dead, either by Replicas or by Alma. If I recall there were 2 civilians alive the entire game, 1 was in Interval 2 and the other is an Easter Egg (Norton Mapes from the first game, but with a different voice actor this time). The military mostly consists of SFOD-D (Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta, aka Delta Force) and you could save up to 4 of them (at the part where the minigun Replica Heavy guy is) but you'd have to be really super quick with the SlowMo.
@@JimHalpertFromTheOfficeOh, right, one can Slow-Mo while climbing the ladder so to glitch them to safety. They won't join you for the rest of the session, however.
