    For me, D5 has eye catching, lighting and materials surface balance ( eg glass, water, chrome) the moment you open your project from modelling software. This way it incourages users to see way forward to proceed with refining and finishing the render. Then the rendered result are stunning. People find they harvest good fruits from their efforts.
    Also D5 user interface is convinient than other comparable software like Twinmotion.
    D5 releases significat improvements with their releases and the new features are encouraging to be implemented by users

    As a D5 Pro user, transitioning from Max and Vray to D5 became straight forward once you challenge yourself to take the same photographic and lighting principles from Vray it will increase your quality drastically! Your Light balancing makes or breaks your render especially with all the tools you have with D5.

    I have D5 pro lifetime license.. but I still go for Unreal Engine 5 because of many reason. I know one day D5 will become a 'render-beast' ( even now as you can see how it growing, very fast improvement ). Now imagine what will come in next 1 - 2 years in D5.. Trust me, for easy render flow and worth the money.. get D5 now and you wont regret it.

    one or 2 steps further and they turn it into a monster....
    -I suggest a realistic physical displacement instead of the actual parallax displacement
    than...
    - a scatter tool for buildings to fill the urban environment.....
    what else...? a real sea water for shore projects....
    my main benefits from the last update are the 3D connexion mouse integration and the scatter tool.
    if they can push further the realism somehow (dont't know what would increase this ..maybe lights) ...I think this will be the best rendering ....because compared to another advanced software, D5 already have won the game in many aspects except the realism that some softs have reached so far...till now it may be tricky to get realistic scenes ( I did) but most of time it's closer to games pictures.
    but for me it's my main rendering soft for architecture since a year. it's incredible how it's easy to use with a convincing results.

      Hi Anith. Just to clarify, I personally use several software for creating Archviz. In my opinion, D5 Render is dominating the likes of Lumion, Enscape, and Twinmotion, especially with their latest update. I absolutely agree that the results are relative to one's skill, but without us trying to push the standards for these tools, then they won't continue to improve.

      For Latin America Vray and Unreal process are not convenient, low budget, no time, that’s why D5 is the best for a lot of countries. I use Corona Render but definitely D5 + AI + PS is more than perfect! Pro Results even better than Vray!

      Actually, if you're talking about firms, a lot of them have already started using D5 render. As a matter of fact, companies have big budgets for different software and they have bought licenses for corona, vray, lumion, Twinmotion, but like a lot of my friend's companies have started using D5 pro versions because of the quality and speed it has over the other software that they have already bought. So yeah, it's definitely getting noticed, in my opinion. 🤷‍♂️

    Again, this is little more than an evangelistic perspective, which is not to disrespect your efforts in producing your video.
    The problem or question is… are you contributing to the noise or the signal in promoting / highlighting software so called ‘solutions’.
    It’s not to take away from your efforts. My comment is that at the end of the day, no matter what software we use we don’t care for the advertising tonality and so called feature set that recently been achieved.
    Why don’t you forget the ‘soft sell’ approach and hold up feature sets from all compatible software programs?
    I say the same about twinmotion or unreal engine or other.
    Just stop the ‘sell’ and get down to business. That way you are more likely to grow an audience about discussion of the state of the art.

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  7 місяців тому +2

      I appreciate your time in watching the entire video. 🙏
      It's basically the same as what I've been preaching - software doesn't matter as long as it's the one thing you feel comfortable using. But it doesn't change the point in this video that D5 is changing the game. From the beginning, I was a heavy Lumion user, but now have switched to D5. So if it comes too evangelic-like to your taste, then I can't do anything about it. 🤷‍♂️
      What I can't comprehend is the solution you're referring to. I mean, these tools are built to solve existing problems and will continue to solve more issues as they progress - I just don't get all the hate. 😅

    • @neiljamessloan
      @neiljamessloan 7 місяців тому +1

      @@silvercoloredlens I understand your labelling of 'hate'. But to have an opinion or reaction to something is not to say it's hate/hatred. What I don't get is how you can spend time in presenting something that you know is just a tool. Yet appear to come across as if this is (the) tool to consider.
      I am not a tool-centric person. I hope you are not as well. I'd rather see you spend your time on your own creative endeavours, rather than buying into the commentary of tools versus tools argument.
      You are obviously a gifted person. I hope you spend your time exercising those gifts and educated thought on what and into what it is you love.
      I just don't get that you love or endorse this solution over other things.
      Put your mind to your next project man. You have something to say.

    • @silvercoloredlens
      @silvercoloredlens  7 місяців тому +1

      @neiljamessloan thank you for your opinion, and I appreciate it truly. But as what you might already know, tools do serve a purpose, and teaching others how to use them to improve in their craft is something that needs to be shared and not kept for ourselves. And if that comes out strange, then I don't know what to say anymore.
      How I spend my creativity and time, like responding to an educated opinion such as yours, is what I consider productive and healthy. This is a discussion between two adults who obviously know what they are saying.
      I'm sure you have better things to do and going on in your life right now, and I hope you will take the same interest on them as you did for this one. Thanks for dropping your two cents. Much appreciated. 🫡
