- A test in patience. Chose Mayberry Mini Trucks fo find a Hiace pickup back in June of 2022. They found the truck I was lookin for in Sepetmber. Made the ship Trident in November. From Japan through the Panama Canal, stoped at Jamaca , and it jumped ship in Jacksonville Fl. Went to Mayberry Mini Trucks then to me. Now its 2/24/23 Couldent find anything close to this truck for the $$ in the U.S.A. If ya lookin for a mini KEI truck the best place in the U.S.A. is Mayberryminitrucks.com Thanks Much Stephanie and Tony. Ya Awesome hometown folks.
here is a little fun fact about those wheels, some of these come with dualies in the rear and they carry no spare tyre for the back lol since u have 4 of them, we have tons of these in jamaica (the bus version) they will run forever with rudimentary maintenance. you probably figured this out already but your ac controls are right beside your instrument cluster it should be the first lever with the blue above your fan control
Thanks for the info. There aint much on these trucks on the facts.
Hi Chris, so glad you’re happy with the Toyota Hi-Ace 4x4 diesel!! Thanks for your business and for being so patient:)
You folks are the best. Ill be back. Next Im thinkin of a mini van. Its in the dream box. HAPPY DAY
THanks so much.
Awe that's tender...😊
you bought an excellent truck 👋👋👋
Its been awesome so far. Thanks.
hello ca, i purchased a 90 liteace from tony this year and i really love it. no a/c in mine but i dont use it much anyway.
I love my Hiace. Its awesome in the mtns. the view from the cab is great. I dont do ac eather.. Enjoy bein on the right side.
in middle east we use these as a workhorse and minimal maintenance , in the summer where its 50c + (some days 56 c) which is 122f these still run no issue and in the winter where it reaches below 0 in january still run first try .
Wow, thats HOT. I was in trafic at 95f and a bit worried but never got close to overheating. 18f is the coldist and started lickity split and had good heat. They are awesome truchs for shore. Happy Day.
That thing is awesome! Congratulations my friend!
I think my Sambar will fit in the back. The beds way bigger than I thought.
The knob below the hvac controls is the High idle. You either pull on it or twist it to idle it up
Thanks, Figured it out a bit back.
I can’t wait to see what you do with this not so mini locomotive,
Me TOO
Its has a smaller tire in the rear to lower the cargo bed. For easier loading and unloading. There are low en high bed. Some models have front and rear same size tire.
This one was design to have small rear wheels so you can not just put bigger wheels because of the part time 4wd system. It does not have center differentieel.
All done. Regeared with 15s front and rear. ua-cam.com/video/1Ywu1y90W5s/v-deo.html
Two big reasons for smaller rear tires are easy (un)loading and cornering stability by the low center of gravity.
Thanks. Im thinkin about swapin gears in the rear to match the front for same size tires. The rear axel has no clearance for offroad or deep snow.
What was your budget, if you don’t mind. I’ve been looking at these through Mayberry as well but they go so fast.
My limit was 18,000.00 I love this truck. It drives like it just came out of the box. Mayberry Mini Trucks is the way to go. No worries.
🇯🇵👍🎥
In south africa we run them for 2 million kilometres .. strong as can be .. we call them toyota dyna lorrie
I got a whole lifetime to put on that many km. I do love the truck for shore. The lorries in south Africa a Dyna or a Hiace. Dyna is 1 size up from Hiace. Someday I want to get a Dyna camper. Happy Day
Previously, cars were made by engineers. Therefore, these cars are still famous for their reliability and unpretentiousness.
I wonder what eneineers where thinkin with the lazer beam headlights. And too many sensless sensors. Bring back the basics.
