- Under Suzuki is a privateer time attack competitor from Japan. His goal was to be the fastest at Tsukuba. To beat the tuning shops. He did it in December 2012 with the help of Yokohama ADVAN A050 tyres. This is the fastest car to go around Tsukuba with DOT RATED ROAD TIRES.

51.875 was set by a works team, tube framed, Super GT car running on slick tire compound tires.
As a privateer on R compound tires (or S Tire) with the original S15 crash structure (original suspension geometry too?), 52.649 is really impressive, and he's number one in terms of "Time Attack" challenge.

Mate, i have the full review of this car in a magazine, its a road legal car, whether he changes the front end for road use or whether the lights are just covered in black tape i dont know but its a road legal car, that is part of japanese tuning, japanese tuners dont care for race cars they are into STREET cars

Almost all of the Japanese tuner Time Attack cars are street driven / legal. But this one obviously isn't. The Cyber Evo was probably the most well known Japanese Time Attack car that is street driven.

This car is not street legal, but it's one of the fastest car ever clocked on Tsukuba that is based on a road going model, and isn't a purpose built race car.

I feel like he couldve been faster through turn 1. it felt like a similar speed to the hairpin on turn 8 - and turn 1 is much wider than turn 8.

No, that was set by a dedicated race car on full slicks, not a street legal car on street legal semi-slicks (ADVAN A050), and Suzuki-san is a privateer not a huge japanese tuning company.
Its just because of the time attack bodykit...It only takes 2mins to put headlights back in and a little bit to take the kit off.

What is that hissing sound when the car goes faster and the sound becomes louder? Is that air rushing through something?
its the gearbox that is caled a straight cut gearing also the same sound you hear from rallycars when thay accelerate and shift gears and sound turns to higher pitch whining.

+Kidyugi1 the hissing sound you're hearing is the external wastegate opening. it diverts exhaust from the exhaust housing on the turbo to regulate boost.

On racing slicks? These time attack cars use DOT approved street tires. Try doing the same time on sport soft tires.

On GT4? Never a bad time to play a classic! On GT6 I guess an equivalent would be a tuned road car on comfort softs.
I tried some hot laps with the viper and my fastest was around 47:500 :)
Where will you drive these cars. Limitation is 60 km/h or 80 km/h on Japanese highway.

Jag vet att dem är slappare i Japan när det gäller hur man får bygga, fast man måste ha framlampor, blinkers, airbags (om bilen kom med det) osv, fast om man bara bygger en gatbil och har kvar allt sånt, så kan man göra nästan vad man vill, fast denna bilen är inte gjord för att köra på vägen.

Yeah, not sure that this car would be legal, even in Japan where a formula Nippon car was converted into a road car. but even that car had to have working head lights and exhaust silencers to be legal. This is a Japanese open class time attack car which has very little in common with the road car it is based on. So no I don't think this car would be driving around on Japanese roads. It therefore is effectively a race car aside from the tyres and hence the 2nd fastest race car around Tsukuba.
How can a RWD car outperform AWD cars like the CT230R evo? The fact that he doesnt spin his tires goes beyond me at such high acceleration. O.o
it does spin its tires, he just quick shifts the car to stop it from spinning anymore

advan silvia out performed tiltons interiors evo first year in tsukuba by 2+ seconds. yet tilton interiors evo destroyed them in yokohama world time attack 2013 eastern creek by 3+ seconds.
That evo had an engine blow and had to get a new motor setup in 1 day. Didn't get any time to setup the suspension or change out the aero parts. Tilton could probably run close to 52 flat currently

it doesnt have headlights becuse of the rules. all runs are done in good light and dry weather so there are no point to them. if they break on track it just puts more crap on it.

You may have an old review of the car when it was road legal. However, in current state it is not road legal. Speed Hunters did a review of the car in current state. It would fail for numerous reasons. Head lights removed and replaced with carbon inserts. Roll cage that is exposed, no padded covers. These are two issues that would fail on inspection. Can easily be fixed BUT in current state it is not legal. Google "True Dedication Speedhunters" for more info on this car.

Adiyaat, saying that I am stupid by stating a scenario that proves my point is laughably ignorant. The Scorch racing s15 would not be legal in Japan without the presence of basic safety equipment. So therefore in it's current trim it is not street legal (Along with the other reasons I've listed). Of course it could be street legal if you made it adhere to the law but that's an irrelevant point. Go read a book.

Whats not street legal about it? From what i know all japanese tuner cars are street legal and can be driven on the roads with road tires on them
1. It does not have headlights
2. There is no rear window, the rear section of the car, like the majority of the body is dry carbon to save weight
3. There are no side mirrors
4. The rear wing is wider than the body making it illegal
4. I highly doubt the car would pass any emmisions tests
Saying that all Japanses tuner cars are street legal with road tires on them is shows a lack of understanding on the matter. Basic safety equipment is required for a car to function legally on roadways.
I meant to see what is possible and clear the path. btw The Nissan is not approved by zero mirror on the side, no lights in front and broad wings. I think and Koenigsegg agera can do that too. it is better built and has approved tires with idealistic principles most (even closer slicks) but approved. but do not think Japan can afford to buy a agera (japan is not the richest population when it comes to Blier. they are low budjet smaenlignet with euaropa
