Hey everyone, please make sure not to give TP any views. Watch recap channels if you're curious or use a third party website that doesn't give youtube data. Report her channel for harassment of a protected community (disabled). And lastly idk if this will actually do anything but this petition to have her channel removed exists chng.it/yDDSCWRdsV It's really encouraging to see how many people w/o dissociative disorders are getting educated and involved, thanks everyone!

Your comment has been pinned. Trisha needs to be held accountable for her actions. She has affected so many people and their systems and has done permanent damage to not only our system but the systems around the world. She needs to be stopped and the change starts here. It frustrates us to no end how UA-cam is doing nothing to help us during this time of need. Trisha is damaging actual people and UA-cam is standing by and letting this happen. We said that 2020 was the decade of change and that change starts with this!

@@DJC-System I am just me, myself and I and don't have DID but what I do have is empathy and a sense of justice like many others, the majority of people know right from wrong and this is clearly wrong and the fact some people aren't holding TP accountable really hurts and not only does it hurt me but it hurts many systems even creating new alters as she is doing the opposite of what people in the DID community want to happen, she is adding to the stigma and not only that providing false information to people who aren't that well educated on DID, this pains me to see someone purposely hurt others as nowadays there is no survival of the fittest anymore and we should understand each other more but what ends up happening is we are so advanced we turn on each other, I hope you and your alters are ok in the current times

I was just about to say the same thing. Tho i appreciate that DCJ felt comfortable to share the trauma that brought Connor about it it not needed to go into. Most ppl by now understand that DID was formed because of severe trauma and that alone is enuff for my heart go out to all.of you. Details of the trauma can be triggering for you or the system i understand. To this day i dont know what trauma caused DissociaDID's DID or Team Pinata's or Fragmented Psyche. But whatever it was it must have been horrific for this disorder to form. And it is the same with Janessa( i hope i got the name right as it is a beautiful name)

@@monchichll So sorry for the late reply :) We appreciate comments like these so much! The reason we shared as much as we did is because we want to inform people about DID and how it affects the lives of so many. To talk about DID we have to have a starting point. We didn't and won't ever share information that we aren't comfortable with the world knowing. We for obvious reasons didn't go into detail about the events and never will. The problem now is the classic story of "The Boy Why Cried Wolf"
Trish has lied and lied and lied. She has pretended to be a number of demographics to ride the clout train (E.g. Lesbian, Transgender) to the point where if she ever finally did come out and say something genuine, I'm not going to believe her. This is a distinct pattern of behaviour on her part and I feel like this is just another link in that chain.

She (Trish) has not only spread a lot of misinformation, but she's done so much damage to systems who are trying to figure this disorder out. I've seen a lot of people who refuse to now come forward anymore with DID because of all of the drama she's caused. I'm disgusted that Trish could use this mental illness to boost her viewer count. No illness should be exploited, especially one that regards those who have been mentall/physically abused or suffer with PTSD. Rant over lol. I love your video and it looks really professional for such a new channel! I’m sorry past experiences have lead you to be nervous about coming out about yalls DID, and I’m sure with this recent drama that doesn’t help much. I don’t have DID, but I do have major depression with psychotic features and I already think I’m crazy enough without others telling me that, so I started tearing up when Nin was saying to never call someone crazy. Also Trisha is disgusting because in her latest video she was practically mocking Nin’s Little from the Anthony video, and knowing how protective they are of their Littles makes me furious that Trisha would stoop so low

Being called crazy was one if the most hurtful things to hear. Though we knew it was indirect, the repetition of the word and the fact that Trisha (in her video "Dear Anthony Padilla") basically said that we should expect it was so infuriating to hear. I (the host) went through a 3-4 month period thinking I was literally losing my mind after suffering from multiple severe panic attacks and being in what felt like a constant state of derealisation.
We've come so far as a system, from that confused, terrified position to a happier, more comfortable place, so being boiled back down to "crazy" is such a fucking blow.

If you've been on Dissociadid's twitter or seen their most recent video, you'll know that Trisha's videos, especially her 'Dear Anthony Padilla' video, have MAJORLY impacted them, giving them terrible flashbacks to traumatic events they experienced as a child, and even creating a new split in the system. There is no doubt that Trisha knows what she's doing to the community, and yet, she continues to do this, just to stir up drama and gain some clout. It makes ME furious, and I don't even have DID. I can't even imagine what it must be like for someone who does have DID. Anyway, this was a great reaction; it was great to see your system's take on the topic.
On a much more light-hearted topic, what I really like about Nin (and the whole Dissociadid system) is that they are both really informative AND fun. They are obviously really smart and professional, but I like that they can also have a good laugh along the way. If you are to react to more of her videos, obviously the most educational ones are her "debunking DID" videos, but I would also love to see your reactions to some of the more "fun" ones like "My (Male) Alter Does My Makeup" (with Kyle - seriously, it's hilarious), and both of their "Meet the Alters" videos (the girls and the boys).

As someone who doesn't have DID (but has ASD) but has been following the community to develop a better understanding for a couple of years, I can confirm that the community has collectively done so much to break down stigma and educate, and DissociaDID has been a very big part of that.
I should give a heads up-- If you watch their earlier videos, you'll notice the host goes by the name Chloe and it might raise some questions. In short, Nin used to be two alters (Chloe and Nina) but they fused. Shortly thereafter, she took the name Nin.
I think what you're doing here is great and I hope to hear more from you. You bring a perspective I don't think I've seen from other system channels, being in the process of learning along with the audience as well as sharing your own experience, as opposed to taking more of a teaching role. That's valuable too.
And you don't need to justify not talking about trauma. Not talking about trauma specifics is pretty much the default. It's traumatic stuff. It should be a given that any talk of it has to be on your terms (and agreed upon as a system) and that it's perfectly reasonable to just not.

I'm happy that you guys are learning more about DID and seem to be enjoying through this journey (adventure 😉) by learning about DID systems like DissociaDID. You should also look into TeamPiñata (Nin's partner system) if you haven't! They both make great videos and help the community a lot. DissociaDID usually focuses more on the scientific aspect of things, while TeamPiñata tends to focus on more raw/personal things with DID. Even though it might seem like a lot, I would recommend watching their channels' videos from oldest to newest. Their systems have gone through a lot of changes (integrations, etc.) since the start of their channels so it helps with understanding where their channels came from.
Even though all this TP stuff is causing quite a stir, I have noticed that a lot of people seem to be banding together to support each other and new people are learning more about the community now! Just trying to look on the positive side of things here...TP is definitely known to cause this kind of thing to happen with multiple different groups of people. The way she was talking about DID like she actually understood it is what bothered me the most, I think. She infamous for trolling but it goes too far once she starts impacting people's lives and hurting communities, in my opinion.
Side note: I love that Connor was feeling confident enough to front and talk for a bit here. Nin's makeup is indeed amazing 😉. I hope Janessia will be able to, as well, if she wants to. Of course, no pressure to anyone in your system. It's not our (the audience's) right to be able to see and learn about your alters unless you guys are comfortable with it! The DID community on YT is actually pretty strong and has just been growing even more. I don't have the disorder myself but have my own mental disorders and struggles so I can understand the stigma to an extent, but I always love learning about other people's disorders and how to help/be informed about them. There are trolls (and just mean people in general) out there, which I'm sure you know about, but I hope the positive comments and support will be enough to not let that affect you guys very much if those people do come to this channel somehow.

I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be to watch someone spread blatant lies about something you deal with every day, especially something as difficult and complex as DID. Thank you for educating us and sharing your experiences ❤️

The one thing I have notice with alot of people with did is you can tell there front changes by the way there face looks when they switch. Nin and you both have this blank look on your face. Then your face looks different which makes sense because certain alters can tighten and relax certain face muscles changing there appearance. Trish does not do this she just changes her volume after a split second and says that's a switch.

Just came across with your channel, i’ve been following DissociaDID and other systems on youtube for a while but i am glad that i added one more sincere creator to my watchlist. As someone who suffers with depression and anxiety it is very hard when other people invalidate your mental health. I am so sorry that Trisha made this about herself and spread misinformation and tried to hop on a “trend”. Looking forward for your “adventure” on here. Stay safe! Lots of love.

I think you are truly brave to be sharing your adventure with the public! I do believe there is something terribly wrong with her. She needs continuous help and not something one trip to the doc will fix.
I do have a question. I noticed in not only your vid, but also in Nin's that yall seem to grab or rub your necks during certain parts in this. Is this also one of your ticks? My son introduced me to Nin's channel. I have my own battles with mental "issues" and have developed a facination with other mental disorders in how people cope.
You are doing amazing! Stay strong! Yall have an adorable smile/giggle.
Connor, you are amazing! Thank you for protecting this gentle soul. And, yes! Nin's make up is amazing. :) Couldnt look away from her eyes.

I highly reccomend Nin's video on system communication. Getting your alters to at least take some notes for you from the classes they go to, I am sure would go a long way to not only being able to handle switching in class but also in your system communicating. I can only imagine how hard it must be being new to DID. I do not have it, but I do study psychology so watching DID channels has really helped to have a better understanding of how to be supportive and how to help future patients who might have DID. You all are amazing people in your system and Nin is a great resource. I saw on your channel that you are connected to many system's channels, but also make sure you are working with your mental health team. take care of your self and take time for some self love and self care.

Hey I know this video is like, months old, but I just wanted to say that I've seen a few of your videos and it's a great thing that you are educating yourself and seeking treatment. I know it's really hard as an adult to come forward and booth accept and seek treatment for psichiatric conditions, so I'm glad you're out here giving an example for other neuro-atypical people by working on your mental health and coming out to the world. Keep it up y'all, what you're doing takes a lot of balls, and you're doing great.

How do you feel about the people "coming out" now with their own, often self-made, diagnosis? Is it frustrating for you, or do you support self-diagnosis? I personally think it's dangerous... It's like you say, you *thought* you had it in high school, but you went to a doctor and got a diagnosis and are getting supportive treatment. There's a reason that system exists - because people with all sorts of disorders can experience dissociation, from cPTSD to psychotic depression to brain tumors. It's important to get the right diagnosis - critically important.

    • @DJC-System
      @DJC-System  4 роки тому +1

(DJC) We feel that people need to educate themselves before they even start the self diagnosis process. If you do self diagnose then they need to research what they think that have. Then with that said information take it to a medical professional and get an official diagnosis. Getting an official diagnosis doesn't affect anything negatively, if anything it should fill you with pride.

Nice to meet you! My name is Jesse
You seem like an awesome dude, people need people like you in their life.
I just wanted to say hang tough, I studied D.I.D through channels like Multiplicityandme WHO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, She is like the OG of D.I.D youtubers i'm not sure if she was first or Nin was, anyway seriously GO check her out. Her 4 alters are amazing.
I studied this so I can help those who I encounter in real life who might have it, At church I talk to many who have been abused at those ages, and the pain they have inside their heart is devastating, I'm surprised how often this happens to people, and some of them could have it and no one would understand them. I wish everyone was educated in this so that if you come across someone with this disorder they can skip straight to the Don't worry I believe you and you're safe! Anyways, You're awesome keep making videos! Love from California!
