After Effects can't assume you have a supported GPU this is why you need to activate it yourself.
@@SternFX So should we change our renderer to GPU as a default action and not to use anytime "Software only"?

I have r5 3600 and 1650 super should I upgrade tp 3060 ti ?? For fast workflow or i have to upgrade cpu and i have 32 gb ram
