This new version of the game looks amazing. I've subbed back to Wakfu to get my fix, but I remembered I already had an Iop+Eni duo I made a while ago, and did marvelously well doing every dungeon until level 70 or something with that combo alone. I might very well get back into it, seeing how good things are progressing of this old game's engine!
That's awesome - yeah, an Iop/Eni is a fantastic duo team. After seeing these spells too, I realize there are a lot more attacking abilities on the Eni now than there used to be... I need to do some research. ;-)
@@Benjamight Indeed! I remember playing some at the time when the Eniripsa had its spells overhaul, and it was simply fantastic! Great heals and damage to support my already monstrously strong Iop!

Yeah, I would agree... a few standouts, but most feel kind of 'OK'. Especially after you see the Enu video I'm about to drop... my goodness, not sure who made these animations, but they were feeling VERY inspired when they did! They are epic!
I really wish some of these spells for the eni still kept some of the heart animations. But to the question about the words and paint brush, even though yes it is in wakfu they have been using a brush type stick even in 1.29, the spells have always used something like X - word then when they expanded the list they got more direct "loud" spells. its been interesting. Really hope they had some bigger animations though for some of the spells cus the chance ones are currently the only ones coming out on top.
Thanks for that explanation Luna... I guess this was a chance for them to make the 'paint' side of things more prevalent, because it never really stood out to me too much before. I kind of always assumed that was the Eni's wand they were using.
Wait until you see eliotrope's or huppermage's animations. Man, it's like they put their best animators and artists to work on those and neglected classes like the iop
Appreciate the reminder Mark... I actually ALMOST included them in this video, because I remembered them when I was swapping the spells. I think I'll keep them in a standalone video though, as not to confuse people where to find them.

8:18 The eni from Wakfu uses that painting in spells, maybe they are getting it from there

I know the Iop video was longer, but it was kind of nice to see the original spell and then the Unity after for comparison.

This animations are so amazing :D only to improve are some buff and strenght spells cause are too similar

Tbh the elio has a lot of animation recycling, there's around 8 spells that look pretty much the same, foggernaut has this issue too
Looking forward to it Guildhermetessmerswensson - I have a level 200 Fogger, so I'm sure a spell video for that class will not be far away.

Yes - we're in Phase II now, which has ported over all the main server information. Nothing you do here will be saved though, just fyi.

Is there release date for unity?
I'm not aware of an exact date yet, but it's supposed to happen in December. Most likely after a weekly maintenance.
