Dude ur imperator rome videos are THERAPEUTIC, honestly. Love the pace, love the editing, great little explanations but above all love how fucking SKILLLLLLLLLED you are at this game. I was mindblown already a year ago when I found how you used stacking fort defence as the jewish faction to form Israel. Never saw the use, potential or need for that particular stat until you showed it. Love those uses of not so obvious mechanics But please! Do live commentary on wars, they're so intense to watch and even more so valuable for learning! :) Looking forward to the next.
ngl, i dont need or want the part 1, i am happier having my imagination fill in the blanks and starting off from a not o-so-familiar 450. havent watched the whole vid yet but the intro and thumbnail already hooked me hard, more of that please :D
Love your content and love your roleplay, i know youve struggled with personal issues in the past but please keep up the effort, this game deserves some love and you as a creator have great potential, your just waiting for your chance to burst onto the scene, i love your uploads and so do many others. much love
It happens all the time for me. I've even had the Romans declare war and almost instantaneously take a single province and leave the war. That is exactly what happened in the first episode, when they declared war on Carthage. I don't know if it's a mod conflict, or the game just bugging out, but the AI does really stupid shit like this sometimes. Also, if I really did want to cheat and make the Romans lose a bunch of land, I could have very easily edited it in a way that makes it seem that it was done with no player interference. I didn't even have to tell you that the Romans just gave away their lands.
I think I have made it pretty clear multiple times in my other videos that I play games for the challenge and enjoy struggling. I have absolutely no reason to cheat because I personally gain nothing from it. Plus, I don't even know how to open the console.
The writing in this is absolute heat🔥🔥

Seems a little convenient that Romans “Gave away” the land while they attacked? I have never had that happen to me ever on this game
I've had the AI offer territory which wasn't occupied before, it does happen

Just admit this was a cheated game
