5:21 as of now only Sram gets any use out of control, Sadida and Osa don't benefit from it. 7:51 barrier is extremely common for level 50 mineral tower runs, it's generally pretty good in lower brackets.
@@Popsvoice yeah they were reworked to no longer use control. Control is being phased out as a stat, once Sram gets touched control will have 0 use cases.
Edit: The 1.86 Update was delayed from end of 2024 to beginning of 2025. The devs stated that during production they needed more time to deliver on this huge, bold update. This was a ton of effort, and thanks everybody for the patience that's been reading my posts. I severely underestimated how long this would take and how much effort it would be, but I think it shows. Thanks everybody for sticking around, I never expected to have people eagerly awaiting my content. Have a great day, love yourself, and HOLY CRAP WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO 500 SUBS THANKS YOU EVERYBODY SO MUCH For the astute observer, you can piece together my build throughout the video, minus my spells. I’ll be making an Elio guide one of these days.
W video the examples of classes using certain stats helps a lot. I run a flame iop and was investing into berserk but now you taught me that i need a reset.
I played the game from it's very first beta (French Player), even if I understand deeply its mechanics; I took time to watch all of wakfu tutorials videos due to how precise and well-made they are. I hoped that you knew the game at it's very first beta to be able to produce such quality to my younger self to watch in the past
It's funny you say that, I only started playing a bit before I made that first video, when Ogrest was made! I played the first beta when I was a kid, but never got very far. Thank you, I hope to make more, and eventually work up to late-game topics and dungeon specific guides!
@Popsvoice Ho ! You are a Redesign Survivor, too?! Wonderful, you heard the call. The call to come back to the game 😁 I cannot wait to witness you taking down Ogrest; even if I cannot assist you in that journey. You might be on Rubilax server and I am on Pandora server 🫣
damn, I'm so glad yur making these video now. I would like to know more on how I upgrade some of these faster or better. but it's good to know there is now an explanation for what they are.
That’s fantastic! I think it’s a great game for experience and new gamers. The turn based combat allows new players to consider their options without worrying about real time combat things such as dodging, and experienced gamers can delve really deep into the strategy. I hope you guys have fun and stick with it!!
I love building with barrier and I've never built anything without it, and although the damage reduction isn't that high, reducing damage 10 times per turn is a delight!
I’ve thought about putting some points in but it’s hard to justify to myself lol, possibly for low level builds where reducing low amounts of damage is huge.
@@Popsvoice it's more useful for nullifying small damage (yes, depending on the damage you can nullify it without any major problems). Putting at least 3 to 4 points in barrier is enough, I put 10 points because I'm crazy, lol.
About critical res - some support builds (for example, panda) do not really benefit from crit% and masteries, those tend to build block% > crit res > rear res, simply because they don't have anything else to spend points on.
@@pdokik4952 oh darn curse you I’m so angry how dare you god I would hate if even more people did that the 400s are my favorite I’d hate to get higher and lose that oh no
I think of these videos as a resource to keep the new players around. I think the best way to grow the audience is playing the game, and telling your friends, people on reddit or twitter, anybody that will listen. I believe in this game, I think it's beautiful with most unique gameplay of any MMO, even compared to Dofus. The speed of the combat even though it's turn based, the combos characters can perform, the ecosystems, the quests, Mod'Ule dailies, guilds, politics... This game has it all, besides the people that haven't tried it yet.
I need help. I can't find what the symbols on the ground during combat mean. (Fire, leaf, wind, etc) They have different effects on the player or opponents when step on them, but the game doesn't say anything about it and neither I heard combat tutorials mentioned them. There's also the cross symbol that occasionally appears when you try to cast a spell. Idk what's it. Great video btw.
They are “glyphs” and as you see, have different effects. I also can’t right click to see individual effects, but several dungeons will have their own effect. They are generally on the outside of the arena to make getting cornered scarier to dissuade camping slightly. If you step on one you can see the effect it applies to you. Those give you your answers. Trial and error. Maybe one day I’ll document them all.
With Dofus unity coming, i dont see much hype for wakfu, plus with the removal of factions/pvp i dont feel like theres much to progress towards if you cant even really fight other players.
@@jaredh923 there’s still PvP with the statues, and endgame only gets more content with every update. Most MMOs aren’t PvP focused, most MMOs focus is on endgame gear improvements, getting money, and doing pvm content. There’s leaderboards, and this MMO has the bonus of the Modulation system, meaning you aren’t only working to optimize endgame gear, you’re optimizing for every level grouping in the game.

Most of these are upgraded through either equipment, or through enchantment slots. We’ll be diving into enchantment slots next video.
