Whats Up Everybody, Welcome Back!
This was a phenomenal ride, I last rode here in 1996 for the UCI DH World Championships and have wanted to come back here for another ride ever since and I am so glad that I made it happen as these trails are nothing but the best.
World Class in fact, and a title backed by 3x World Championships and a World Cup all held here on this Rainforest Mountainside.
I see no real point going into too much detail here as im certain the video highlights everything that makes this trail network what it is, some of the best rainforest you will ever have the pleasure of riding through and most importantly some of the finest variety of fast, tech trails that take you from high speed flow into aggressive braking drops to railing berms without the need to reach for the brakes.
Smithfield MTB Trails did not and will never disappoint any rider of any skill levels ever, if you have been contemplating riding here then all I can say is WHY HAVENT YOU?
Also a big shout out to Vince at Edge Cycleworks for loaning me his own personal Rocky Mountain Powerplay, this bike rode flawlessly, I only used app 60% of the battery and was seriously impressed with the torque and responsive yet controlled build up of power.
