I'm a Cairns local, non-mountain bike rider, who has been to the tracks towards the bottom to help some mates film some videos. I had no idea there was all this other mad stuff there. Great video!
Great vid, and as a local and regular user of the park, I can confirm that there are some amazing trails at Smithfield. However, current trail signage is shocking, and the trail maps at the trail head are out of date and disagree, with visitors from out of town constantly getting lost in the trail network. I appreciate that the park requires volunteers to help maintain the trails, but this seems to have declined in recent years.
