Changing my diet saved me from debilitating back pain, nerve pain, joint pain, muscle pain, digestive issues, raised blood pressure, 20kg over weight. It took around 8 months for all these problems to resolve. I'm completely pain free and never felt and looked healthier.
Since 2020 I've only been eating fatty meats, seafood, eggs and dairy.
Prior to that I was eating the mainstream version of a healthy diet (lots of veggies, fruit, whole grains, low fat, eating the rainbow etc) for decades and watching my health slowly decline.
Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Paul Mason, Dr Ken Berry, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Gary Fettke, Dr Benjamin Bikman, Dr. Malcolm Kendrick, all helped me with this journey.

Low fat is not "scientifically mainstream". And you're missing whole food groups of a scientifically healthy diet in your description of your previous diet.
The word "journey" is very connected to people jumping from fads. And your comment very much fits that interpretation.
I prefer scientific information, precise thinking and stay away from following people that use fallacies as arguments, behave in irrational ways, ... .
Your "journey" obviously uses none of these criteria.

If you don't value scientific information, precise thinking ... there is indeed no reason to change your source of information for your "journey".
And there is no reason to change your diet if you are one of the magical people that can feel their long-term health.

Congratulations on resolving your issues. That's awesome to hear. From your statement I assume you lost the 20kg you were overweight?
If that's the case, losing over 40lbs of body weight is almost certainly playing a much larger role in your symptom relief than the diet you followed. In essence, you could rephrase your original statement to say "Losing over 20kg saved me from debilitating back pain, nerve pain, joint pain, muscle pain, digestive issues, raised blood pressure. It took around 8 months, and I'm completely pain free and never felt and looked healthier."
Finding a diet that you can stick to and helps you lose excess weight is by far the most important factor in resolving most health issues...however, that does not mean the diet you used to lose weight is going to be the best long-term solution for your health.
      Just food for thought

You might use some fermented foods to diversify the microbiome. Or you might use very little quantities (teaspoons chickpeas or even less at the start, ...and increase it gradually if you've adjusted to the dose) to adjust your microbiome this way.
I had the same problems with chickpeas and gas. It went away. That's a very well-known issue because chickpeas need quite specific bacteria to digest properly.

I don't seem to tolerate cheese and milk as well as I used to think either. I've been consuming dairy products regularly throughout my life, but I didn't notice how they actually made me feel in the long-term until I cut them out and re-introduced them gradually. I seem to do fine with butter and Kefir.
Wheat and gluten are another two of those things that I've always consumed regularly, and cutting them out for a period of time before re-introducing them to my diet made me realize that my stomach don't appreciate them as much as I used to think. I can eat all of it just fine, but I do feel generally better when I don't.
