It's helped me understand what I need to know as a gun owner. Great work.

I tell my students (yes I’m an instructor and an attorney) similar concepts as to what you are teaching here. Would love to take a class with you next time you are in Michigan. Stay safe.
Hello, I was tuning into the video and I got to thinking on a few things. I have used guns since about Jr. High, I had a .22 Marlin. I'm 58. I qualified in the Navy with the M9. After the Navy I had a good job, and I bought a Dirty Harry gun, .44Magnum S&W Model 29, with a 6in. barrel and Pachmyr combat grips. I pawned it for rent money. Lessons learned. So I have about 10 guns now. I'd gotten proficient with their operations. Still trying to master them. I have the CCW and I carry the Taurus 786 .380ACP in a pocket. I do have three 6 rd. mags for it. My assortment is a Taurus .357Magnum Model 66, a Glock 17, High-Point .40, ATI ThunderBolt-E .45ACP. You mentioned the guy who was sweating profusely on the firing line. I can remember when I was like that at first. I had realized, the last time I went to the range, that I was not as nervous as I had been. I was never scared of the gun but after my recent mandated carry classes, and thinking about all the training I have had over the years(I carried in Michigan, and now carry in CA), realizing that what we bring and carry, ends and stops a life, as you have pointed out. It didn't make me more nervous, but it sobered me up and I was able to settle down and relax a little and understand what it was I was actually doing. Don't jerk, control the muzzle, Take a deep breath, hold it. Down and to the left, move up and to the right. Adjust the rear sight one click at a time. Turn the target upside down, shoot for the corners. The last I went to the range it was more rewarding and satisfying. It is getting hard to get ammo, I was denied twice, already. Thanks for your videos, keep up the good work.
I love you sir. The worst thing I could do is to become gunny. I have too many broken bones and guts, but I can learn from you how to evade criminals with various weapons. I love you brother.
Interesting how bi-polar the comments are. Some think this guy’s great, and some think he’s a douche. Some don’t like the swearing. Here’s what matters, in case you missed it. His style, though it is polarizing, draws you in. You are listening. Paying attention. Asking questions. Being poked fun of. Thinking. And THAT is why this guys great. I had a similar instructor for several CCL and related classes. Old school. Told it like he saw it. Told half the class, in code that he revealed only later, that they were not ready to carry. Carrying a gun is not to be taken lightly. Give the guy a lot of credit for breaking through the noise. I’d take his class any day.
Got my conceal carry, Got pulled over, was not carrying as I was not making a delivery. Was cuffed and vehicle searched and questioned for 2 hours. I had informed the Cops that I only carry when needed to make a Hi value Delivery with significant value. Might as well of called me a Liar, the State Trooper who pulled up 2 hours into my detainment, Pulled up my information and ordered my release immediately. He had noted my Job as a Armed security transporter for Hi value items. Idiot local Cops would followed me for almost a 2 week period, before the chief told them to leave me alone as it was my JOB to be armed and protect my Charge, just like a Brinks guy did. Some people just do not understand that some CCP are for Work, not Fear and Loathing.
I had a similar guy in my ccw class that sweat so bad because people were watching him during the range portion... He was thrown out after he musslzed the whole class with a round in the chamber after the instructor told everyone 50 times to clear the gun after your done..
Great video! 6:38 Muscle memory is important for fundamentals. 9:35 Then APPLICATION requires REACTION shooting; Every situation is different! Helps with target shooting too. Try reactive shooting at a range that allows movement. Mix it up! 15:40 Be justified, follow the law, and have USCCA Insurance. 25:07 again good legal through USCCA to explain the situation accurately. 25:26 Amen!
Excellent content and understanding of the subject matter. Couple of critiques: Stop saying "You know what I mean?" "Does that make sense?" These phrases cause some listeners to perceive you're insecure or lack confidence in what you're saying... Instead maybe say "Any questions?" Less profanity would make you seem more professional but it probably helps you to connect better with 75% of your audience. The other 25% may be annoyed and it could distract from what you are saying.
The most important aspect of carrying concealed is the knowing what concealed really means. I had a mother-in-law that thought it was something to brag about to everyone. She wasn't the one carrying, I was, she would point it out to anyone at anytime. Yes, I had asked her not to do that about a trillion times. But she was a mother-in-law. We walked into a robbery once and she turns to me and announces loudly, you're a cop do something. Luckily, the robber decided to surrender rather than fight. Point is, she took away any tactical advantage I had by spilling the beans. I was off-duty and while yes as soon as I took police action I was considered on-duty, but I was not prepared to do what on-duty officers do. I had no cuffs, no radio, no idea if help was on the way or worse how many robbers I'd have to deal with. It's been many years now since I have let anyone know I carry, I want to be the one to decide when or if I use my carry. Concealed means out of sight and out of mind.
Good point about every piece of gear meeting an actual need. A lot of potential jurors in your self-defense case will see anything you were carrying that's black, camo, modified from its factory configuration, or labeled "tactical -- just to name of few examples -- indicates that your relish the idea of shooting someone. If you reload spent casings to save money, a skilled prosecutor might be able to convince jurors that you reload so you can have super-powered killing bullets. If you have a lot of ammo at home, might it be becasue you actually are preparing to kill a lot of people? The list could go on and on. Anything you do that seems completely reasonable to you in our current environment can be used to make you look like a murderous wack-job in court.
Yes. That is to be expected. You just need to understand your situation and don't make up stuff, or lie. When you start doing that, you will trip yourself up. You just need to tell the truth and keep to that. If your story never changes, the jury will see it as one of two things, you are a good liar or you are telling the truth. Personally I'd stick to the truth. My 1911, is modified from the factory, I made no modifications, it is completely stock. All my guns are stock, so the prosecution's modification theory doesn't wash. Anyway, I have mags with the 2nd Amendment etched in them. Does that make me a 'gun nut'? A 58 y/o 'gun nut'? Okay, have fun!
I like this instructor got a sense of humor but at the same time seriously about applying common sense knowledge you need to know about handling a weapon and making sure there's a reason for using deadly Force 👌

Thanks for uploading this boss really helpful info for us new shooters and carriers out here.
“Never point the gun at yourself” this is why I can’t appendix carry. Also I have a little extra fluff and it’s not comfortable.
"How do I look in this dress" explanation of situationally dependent response. Count it! Great reply to class nitpicking.
He was thrown out after he musslzed the whole class with a round in the chamber after the instructor told everyone 50 times to clear the gun after your done..
the guy asking about being sued 😂
As a international security officer And security guard do have The Right to carry a hand fine?
Very good talk session. One of the better ones I've seen or been in.
25:26 Amen!
"Why didn't he leave" great line and point. Lots of good info on the video.
"Are you falling asleep or do you just have stoner eyes?"
Was that Jim Breuer attending class?
Automaticity... well I'll be damned, it's a real word!

Cold brew, I love that stuff!!
I’ll fly over just to take this class with this man.
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this great video I wish I could attend your class well done sir 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Agreed. Great content, but needs a people skills course.
Bro i was so into this i felt like i was in the actual class!!! 👍
This video has a lot of good info. Have watched more than once.
There is more videos like this, like other classes ?
Really good information. Lots of concepts I never thought about.
Learned a few things and extremely entertaining
I found myself in the potato chip rack situation .years ago .mid day armed robbery grabbed a big heavy thick can of pineapple juice.was going to blast him with as many as possible BUT my gut told me he wasn’t shooting. He didn’t. Everything ok.
I'm glad I found your channel. Thank you for the information.
This is very helpful, thanks for sharing.
I want to take one of your classes SO bad! I was planning on heading to Nashville for the S20 class last May, but we had a house fire and lost everything. I'll try again for next May, but we don't have a house yet. Frustrating year, but I fell like I'm gaining a bit of knowledge from your videos. Thank you!
This is gold...it's like Free class!
This is all good info... thanks dude!
I have just took the same course here with a different instructor, something good to know.
