Be aware of the rolling giant that’s hidden underground.

That mall was one of my favorite places to go when I was a kid. It’s so depressing to see it go out like this because some rich aholes and the city keep trying to gentrify. I hope it stays an empty lot like the old Cowboys stadium

Well, its sad... but comeone its an abondoned place that nobody uses anymore, why not do something good with it.

@@predatortheme That’s a good point but I’d just argue who is it good for? Just Beck venture captial and rich people. The community surrounding is low income and this project I doubt will serve them much other than price renters out

It says on the date published, around 6 months ago, and it still seems pretty intact, so if you're in the area you may still be able to explore

It’s not that the mall is closed down forever. I really wanted to go there, but I never went to do so. I really hope it doesn’t shut down.😢😢

I know malls are a relic of the past, but Valley View was my favorite mall to shop at in the Dallas area. This is a very ambitious project considering the state of the economy. It will be years if ever that it comes to fruition

It’ll take a few years to knock down and then 7 more to build what they want.

Dallas is the new LA. I'm glad it's being dealt with, but it's sad that it's more tall buildings that only benefit those who will not stay for year and put down roots. There should be more housing to be bought for families to settle, place roots, and take charge of Dallas for the younger members.

This won’t happen in our lifetime although I think it’s a great “plan”

About over 89 precedent malls have been closed down there are actually malls still standing but close I have been talking to my friend's who goes to closed down places with the police in the owner of the property said to be careful because of some people who have been hiding from the authority drug's in murdered as happened but last 4 years it is actually getting much more safety because of security guards letting you in with a camera and enough water in battery for the flash light

It will look pretty with all those empty homes and apartments if it ever gets built.
