How did Mark get into this 😩
Dallas has always had crime in these areas from the 1960s-1990s. Things started to get better with the gentrification of these areas, but the crime was here already. When I noticed the gentrification happening, I was asking myself, why are they bringing these nice buildings here? or Why build this here in this area? Do they not know how bad this area is? Eventually, I started to see more and more upper-class people walking around as if it was safe and okay too. Nope. I never thought so.
Uptown was NOT a high crime area until the last 5-10yrs. Its Deep Ellum that has always had crime problems with the exception of a law enforcement wave enduced reboot for 3 years before SARS-19. It worse now.
Just like those new buildings in west Dallas by singleton and commerce street
That’s the thing. They “think” it’s safe to just walk around just because nice buildings are being built. Well it’s NOT SAFE. Stay tf in your fancy apartment and arm yourself. They also have a habit of breaking into vehicles and smashing your vehicle windows! All of those thugs will rob you and kill you, or beat you nearly to death! This is what happens when the city tries to gentrify areas that are just not going to change, all so they can make money off of it all and at the expense of putting people in harms way! It is truly dangerous for these wimpy, rich people that don’t really know how to defend themselves. I know that sounds mean but it’s true, lmao. So please just stay in your apartment after dark. Lol
Seems like you also solve the problem be getting rid of a certain group of people.
These are the same people that say they are so mistreated that's not racist I'm just calling like I see it..Play stupid games win Stupid prizes.Put there asses in prison
I have always Said that and they wonder why police officers treat them the way they do but I can't say that because I will get called a racist 🤷
Security officers? Good luck with that.
I went to uptown last month with friends for dinner. A place he had gone for 40 years, wanted to take us there. Born and raised in Dallas area, loved it once. Now I stay out of Dallas and Dallas county in general, due to problems and Judge Jenkins. I couldn’t believe the changes in type of people when when drove through uptown and parked to walk to restaurant. Won’t ever go back. Shame too. More businesses will move out. Private security won’t fix it.
Such a dramatic change
Jerkens has to go!
but we finna make a difference watch💪💪
Dramatic change how???
And imagine the backlash when a security guard shoots a minor the pointed a gun at them
Get rid of the alcohol and it will make any neighborhood safer.

well if you dont know, now you will know. not saying California did this. but California is known for shipping their homeless population to other states. literally paying the homeless to get on a bus and leave to another 🤷🏻♂️
Omg c'mon man. Smh.
Sounds like South Park
I'm pretty sure all the homeless are still here! I live in Sacramento and they're are so many fucking homeless tent cities and people with shopping carts etc.
Sad to see this random violence in such a beautiful section of town. The korean woman talking about homeless throwing stones through her window. Hmm. The young black kids firing pistols in both videos didnt look homeless to me. And they didnt throw stones either. Maybe more security is a good thing?
Tbh they probably are homeless technically if they rent.
It's because of all of the migration from the Midwest to Texas.
All that riff raff. Deep Elum has gone to crap too. It’s the same thing that happened to lower Greenville in the early 2000’s. All those hip hop night clubs bring is crime
Stfu! Police need to be more active there and this is what happens when you authorize the average citizen to carry a gun in public. Homeless people aren’t being called by hip hop music. Don’t expose yourself now

Change the mind set in the BC/BP and crime will go down and things can get better . Or don’t change and watch it get worse .
You right
Even though I know alot of people get guns illegally, I still think you should take a psychological test to own a gun. A gun should only be used against another person with a gun threatening you or other people.
Nope. Anything you pick up can be used as a weapon. Whether it's a knife, gun, ice pick ect, if you choose to attack ANYONE with it expect to get shot period
So if someone runs at me with a knife... and I'm holding a gun... I'm supposed to not shoot and just let them stab me?
If mass shooters know that theres a high likelihood that everyone has a gun, they're less likely to carry out their plans.
This is why we can never get from under society's negative stereotypes. As a Black person I know we're never seen as individuals but as a collective. So if some of us is out here being destructive we're all viewed negativity. Meanwhile I stay indoors with my family out the way but when I decide to go out for fresh air and fun I have to deal with non-Blacks side eye for simply existing.. It's beyond tiring and has caused me severe social anxiety.
And I agree with you, but if you're in the wrong area, it's worse and these aren't the times to be with those types of folks either. I'd move if I were you to a better area with more socialized people. I will also say that in the wrong areas, people with certain mindsets attach certain stereotype to clothing because they are really superficial and shallow, meaning that if you dress urban, they automatically assume that you're a criminal. They expect everyone to dress and look like them, so keep this in mind too. It's not always your skin color that they demonize; it can also be your culture too. They will attach false stereotypes to how a person raised in their culture dresses.
