Oooh...the Oso bridge. All that structure on the shoreline is from the old pier that the city didn't replace after a hurricane... They need to build another one...or 2 along that shoreline. If you get a kayak, you can fish the spot close to the naval entrance...which used to be the best wading spot( lots of stingrays, tho. )
Nice keepers! Sucks your Rod broke, I got a broken pen rod that the same thing happened but I still use it. I’ve always wanted to try that spot. Thanks for sharing
VR50 and yes I’ve landed kingfish and bullreds with it. It’s about the size of a 2500 reel I’ve thrown all kinds of lures inshore with it. Definitely my favorite reel being able to fight big and small fish with it!
Nice video, but a couple of suggestions that might help you grow your channel. First of all you might consider getting a chest mount for your camera rather than mounting it on your cap. Or set up another camera on a tripod also. It makes the video a great deal more stable and less jerky which can get a little irritating for your viewers to try to watch and it's also a little disorienting. With a chest mouth though you have to be a little more aware of where your body is facing but overall the video is better quality. Also, most of the people watching a channel like yours are very interested in fishing which means that they would like to know exactly where you're fishing, time of day, weather conditions, and other considerations that made you pick that spot. Your viewers may not be from the area. So it can be helpful to give maybe a little more narration or actually show on a map exactly where you are. We all want to know where those honey holes are! Otherwise great video and if you keep at it I think you can really grow your channel. Thanks for posting.

Thanks and it’s all good it still got me 2 keepers after that😂 spot is definitely worth a try!
That's also a good flounder spot. They come super close to the shoreline Pro tip, limit the screaming and don't wade until you fished for flounder.
Nice trout bro. 🤙
Awesome trout action from El Paso TX, thx
I’ve caught so much trout in that spot your standing on and on the other side! Oso bridge was almost guaranteed back then

What model vs is that and is it the same one you use at the jetties? Does it feel to heavy for inshore when throwing lures?
