- Found a massive feeding frenzy while exploring some deeper waters with heavy structure in Corpus Christi Bay TX. As we transition into fall patterns, water temps are cooling and fishing is heating up!

Nice video. Appreciate your service to the country!
Looks like that place is still producing, nice to see my old 53 squadrons (HM-15) hangar in the background.
😊
Good stuff, looks like you’ve got TX figured out.
Haha Im definitely figuring it out. Fishery is so rich here its hard to go wrong in general.
OMG THESE HOOK SETS ARE INSANE

Jace where’s the Corpus Christi seawall? We’re driving down from San Antonio in the next two weeks to fish. Love your shows…just subscribed a week ago. Take care.
On NAS Corpus. Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video.
Wow love your video!, I,m new to the corpus Christi, wondering how can I get on that sea wall so I can fish it with my wife and son?, keep the videos comeing😊
New to Corpus as well, really been enjoying exploring this fishery. That area borders NAS into Corpus Christi Bay. Glad you like the videos.
i have seen a very large alligator gar there by the slips a couple of times
Oh yea. All kinds of bigguns in that deeper water.
Ya bro, I’m surprised MP’s didn’t run you off.
They will now Im pretty sure, at the time of this video that sea wall was adjacent to an inactive taxiway. Wildlife resource manager at NAS lobbied to keep it open but Im not sure he was successful.
Whereabouts was that on that wall?
That place looks familiar 😂😂😂😂
Yessir, and still a good one.
Looks like you were behind Hgr 46/47 when you got off your yak.
👍🏼👍🏼
great video !! where exactly is this spot ?
NAS Corpus
I'm assuming the reason you are able to get out of your kayak and fish from the wall is you are either active duty or retired military? Can civilians drive boats up to this seawall or is it a restricted area? Also, what series box is that for our air bubble boxes? Nice video.
Yes active duty. The restrictive zone does extend out, Im not sure how strictly it is enforced. I probably wouldnt fish there by boat due to being hassled and the fact that there are much better places to fish via boat but I am not the authority on that, to each their own. Bubbler item number is B-18. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Whats that set-up handling nice....
The kayak is a hobie outback
Where abouts did you launch your jayak
Boat Launch on NAS
What set up r u using
Not sure which setup youre referring to exactly. Kayak Im running is a Hobie Outback. Penn 2500 series reel 6.2.1 gear ratio on a Diawa 7ft medium fast action rod. 20lb braid to a popping cork, 20 lb flourocarbon leader to a 3/0 hook.
Dang can u drive up to that sea wall?
Certain areas, NAVFAC marine resource manager is a fellow angler currently looking into maximizing access for fishermen.
@Jacemang_Outdoors that's awesome. Never seen that spot before. I come down there from San Antonio occasionally so I'm always learning new spots
Who reveals their fishing spot on an internet video?
I post videos for entertainment and its not really a spot, more of an area, plenty of fish in the ocean to go around. There are alot of new anglers out there figuring things out. If this brings happiness to someone struggling to find fish, so be it. As far as tournaments go, seasoned anglers know fish move based on conditions constantly, spot stealers are always 2 steps behind.
