Jamie, you are a star, and we love watching you. We we're looking at booking a balcony cabin with the bed by the balcony. After watching this, we have booked this cabin. And the best thing is knowing that you have stayed in this cabin too. Thank you so much 👍🍾🥂🛳.
Hi Jamie, we travel to the Caribbean on Arvia on 3rd February for 2 weeks! We were on last February and loved it! We always have a balcony too. That morning cup of tea and G & T before dinner tastes even better sat on the balcony with that view ❤️❤️❤️Watching you has really put us in the mood now! X
I do like these cabins. I have only been on Iona but have stayed in both cabins with bed by window and bed by wardrobe. I do prefer bed by balcony. Agree plenty of storage space even narrow but useful. TV very good with great features . As a solo traveller enjoy these standard cabins that work out cheaper than single balcony even with supplement. I always use an old hotel room card in slot rather than a loyalty card which could be taken and used to redeem points for goods. . A great tip I agree , to choose a cabin with only cabins above and below! Another fab review.
I am a solo too, and I always pick a balcony as the solo cabins are inside and feel mean in terms of space,. I do love a balcony, even on winter cruises which are all I can afford, and I don't do high heat well. I do wish they would give a little more money back for solo travellers.
I had a very similar cabin on Iona, on deck 12 aft too. Same configuration and there was plenty of space, not narrow at all. I think the balcony was a bit smaller but the cabin was the same. Very comfortable and well designed. Thanks for the memory Jamie and Maffoo
Brilliant vlog Jamie. The cabin looks brilliant. I actually quite like the idea of the bed being next to the balcony as can see the sea from the bed when you wake up. Plus I know I'll be sleeping on the balcony side of the bed if Daniel is with me on the cruise so he doesn't disturb me during the night if he has to get up. I would definitely be spending time on the balcony and definitely would order room service for food if me and Daniel wanted to have lazy time and some evenings.
Hi Jamie. Thanks for the vlog. I've booked a balcony cabin for my cruise in June of this year on Arvia, so this was really helpful. I'm a little nervous this time as it's the first time travelling solo, so I decided to treat myself. xx
Jamie great review and many thanks for clearing up issue of bed location in cabin. We have booked transatlantic in 2025 on Arvia as a result of your vlog. So once again many thanks for you excellent vlog.
Thanks for another very informative vlog. We had no idea how to work out if our cabin had the bed by the balcony until you said about it! We are absolutely delighted now to find out that ours has 😍 We think the cabins are ample size & well laid out. 7 weeks to go until our Carribean Cruise 😎 x
We've got a balcony cabin (Deck 5) with our name on it ready for our Med cruise on this very ship at the end of March. So excited. As always, an informative & entertaining vlog. Thank you Jesus!
Your reviews are great Jamie. We've watched them all and learned a lot. We've done 2 cruises now on Arvia and Iona and have used a few of your tips. If we ever bump into you we'll buy you a drink to say thanks 🍹👍
Great vlog Jamie i loved our cabin on Arvia and i was at the front on deck 9 and cabin 108 our bed was near the door but that was fine , but the door was very heavy to open but a great steel fronted balcony .
My cabin on Deck 10 was exactly the same as yours but to the opposite hand. As a double for one it was more than adequate. One small point, there is only a power outlet on one side of the bed. I was on for the fortnight over Christmas and New Year, and really don’t know how I missed seeing you around the ship or on an excursion. I enjoy the cruise so much I have booked for next Christmas and New Year and the P&O site is already showing I’m on a TUI flight out of Gatwick.
I love these cabins although only been in them on Iona 🎉. Carribbean transatlantic in 2025 on Arvia . Can't wait . Have fun on Azura , we might sneak a fortnight in October on her 💪👍
Which would be a good balcony cabin to book, which deck and position please. I’m thinking about booking for feb next year for husband’s birthday. Thanks. Great vid btw
When we booked Maleth wasn’t in the equation. When we paid the final balance, Maleth become a thing. Nowhere is too far for me for a week. I did Hong King for 4 nights which was fab. Im doing Bali for a week. I did Barbados for 4 nights. It’s a small world and i’m not put off by distance - I actually like flying.
We are going on Alvia Floor 16 and we got a balcony and Internet so I’m going to film our room and our holiday. Is it okay to tag you in it if I can please please let me know thank you
Jamie your a little ray of sunshine on this awful cold and wet day, love watching your flogs xx
I’ve got great flogs 😆 😉

You’ll have a great time and so easy to meet people if that’s what you want to do!
Can't wait for April when we will be sailing on her to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. First time booking a balcony cabin. Thank you Jaime.
Enjoy 😊
Looks lovely. Think I might try this ship. You always cheer me up! Thanks Jamie. x

I've booked a standard balcony room and it looks great on your blog. 😊
Welcome 🙏
Great vlog Jamie i loved our cabin on Arvia and i was at the front on deck 9 and cabin 108 our bed was near the door but that was fine , but the door was very heavy to open but a great steel fronted balcony .
Glad you enjoyed yours too!
Looks identical to the Iona cabins which we loved and felt had loads of room!
Yes, same cabins!
I think it's a lovely cabin. Thank you for your video, great as always.
We really like these cabins

We had usb points on both sides!
Thanks Jamie, we have thought about Arvia in the past but so many new ships to choose feom now! Do you choose the ship or Itinerary?
I rarely just choose based on one thing. So many factors for us!
I love these cabins although only been in them on Iona 🎉. Carribbean transatlantic in 2025 on Arvia . Can't wait . Have fun on Azura , we might sneak a fortnight in October on her 💪👍
TA is the way to do it for sure
1st time on aria and this was REALLY helpful … thank you. Do you happen to know is the bed a US size queen so similar to a uk king size?
Sorry I don’t have the answer to that, I’d just be guessing!
Looks a lovely room, I would be very happy, bathroom with a shower cubicle. Great review . 😊
Thank you 😊
Great vlog. Where did you get your t-shirt? Love it!

Well I liked this one tbh
Great video as always. Do you normally tip on top of the delivery fee for room service?
No, I don’t - I used to before a delivery charge was introduced. But people can tip however they wish of course.
@@TravelBlogJamie Thanks, that makes sense. Will take the same approach when on Arvia next month.
3 of us managed in one for a week. 2 adults and adult sized teen! Wardrobe space a bit tight however
👍
Just asking for a "friend"... Is it not a long way to go for a week? When you know who you are flying with?
When we booked Maleth wasn’t in the equation. When we paid the final balance, Maleth become a thing. Nowhere is too far for me for a week. I did Hong King for 4 nights which was fab. Im doing Bali for a week. I did Barbados for 4 nights. It’s a small world and i’m not put off by distance - I actually like flying.

❤️❤️❤️
“Elevators” and “trashcan”? Is that for your American viewers? 🤔😉 Great review as always xx
I’m multicultural and eclectic, so there (plus I spent most of July and August in America)
Do you have to pay room service if you ask for more tea, coffee etc to your room?
No, they top it up every day or ask for more
@@TravelBlogJamie thank you. We are planning to go on our first ever cruise this year and this is one of the ships we are considering.
We are booked on Arvia cabin 11701 for 2 week med cruise in June 23rd- will the bed be next to the balcony or wardrobe?
Can you show me the deck plan?
It mirrors the plan for 12 deck but 2 along!
@@beautifulscotland7443 it should be by the balcony
@@TravelBlogJamie cheers - your blogs are always fantastic- Arvia looks a lovely ship
❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
