Thank you! I was just about to buy this plane and was inbetween getting the 2200 or 3200mah batteries. Considering your flight time of 4min I am definitely going with the 3200, thank you!
Thanks! My dad did not fly it on this day but he has flown this plane before on a previous video we did last year. Here is the link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/t4QXRt6Q6rc/v-deo.html
😀 We actually had a great time flying. that day. We were at the field for several hours flying different planes and helis. We wanted to try a different format: no intro, no music, no narration, just document the flying. Thanks for watching our vids enough to know the difference!
Go to a 14x7 pjn. You won't regret it if you want better 3d out of this thing. Less goosing of the throttle 4 min flight times, much better harrier and hovering performance. Knife edge spins literally EVERTHING is better with the 14x7.. Just flew 3 fights after finally after breaking the original 13" I had on there... No joke. Try it!
@@richardmiddleton7770 No sir! Using 4s 2200 mah packs. Zoar prop churns less watts than heavy APC. Smoothest for 3d, I cut it at 4 min. 3000 is way heavy for this plane to fly 3d smoothly. I'll take the 4 minutes of lofty smooth 3d vs a heavy dumpy 6min. Sport flying 3000 all day. Keep the smaller prop. Trying to be modest, but I mean I know what I'm saying. If you saw me fly...well....this was about a while back when I first got into flying...just got away from it for a little bit. Still flew foamies. ua-cam.com/video/krFcXwZMLUw/v-deo.html
Nice flying there John, I get mine Thursday and can’t wait..✈️☮️
Thank you!
Very nice video without a lot of yapping. Good information on the battery also.
Hey Jon! Cool to see another kid in the hobby. I also fly 3d/IMAC, mainly balsa extreme flight airplanes. Nice flying!
Thank you!
Nice flights! Honestly, 4 mins from a 4s and getting 3.75v/cell is not bad!

Literally one of my favorite birds! Snaps hard!
This is also easily one of my favorite planes! I love tearing the skies with this 300!
@@JonsRC Doesn't take much that knife edge is sharp on this extra!
Great flying!
Good job Jon
Thank you!
Kinda a coincidence that I’ve been looking for a new 3D plane the past few days and then this video pops up.

Good job ! You’ve got skills , dads not gonna try flying that twitchy bird ?

No battery strap, no CG check?
Playing with fire there boys.
What is the price ? I don't finde info on the website. I'm living in Europe ( Munich).
3.75 each cell is actually perfect.
You can almost ride in that plane
I really want to get into larger 100+ inch wingspan gas planes! This plane size is getting to easy for me! 😀

Thanks for the tip and thanks for watching! We will look into that prop!
I'm guessing you're using the 14x7 on 3s? I would think it would be too much for the ESC on 4s?
