Yessss those of us trying to get out of debt and saving up a full emergency fund- it’s okay not to have ALL the pretty things yet. It’s time to prioritize paying down our debts. We got this 💃
I just found your account and business a few months ago. I’ve fallen in love with your products but also i’ve enjoyed your vlogs and learning about you and your family. i love that both of you own small businesses. I just ordered my first order from you this past week and i’m so excited to receive that order!
I was extremely lost when i really wanted to start cash stuffing and budgeting since i have money spending issues, and WHEN I FOUND UR CHANNEL I COULDNT BELIVE THAT I FINALLY AN UNDERSTAND EVERY ASPECT OF THIS METHOD,thank you so so much! U’re a true saver! Keep going and besst luck for both of us
We're just starting out on our debt payoff/cash stuffing journey. It's a good day when we can put $20 in more than one envelope 😂 I know we'll get there eventually! Your videos keep me motivated!
I love watching someone who is self employed do their budgets because our incomes can vary so much. I do something very similar to you by paying myself monthly. I think I’m going to start doing a weekly budget on top of my monthly though because that will help a lot with managing the fluctuations throughout the month. Thank you for that! Question for you…. How do you handle the extra income that comes in? Do you pick 1 thing that you throw the money into? Do you do a separate mini budget and spread it around? Im in debt so I’ve been throwing any extra at debt. ❤
Hi, she has earlier vidéos about that. When in debt, put the most of the extra money into that debt to reduce the amount of time u'll have to reimburse. And just a little for yourself if u want or everything Into that debt
Love watching you Emily. This video series is still so helpful for someone already on a journey. Love your products. One day I'm gonna gift myself a few things from your shop. You're super relatable and so very nice. Thanks for all you do to help us!
Thank you for breaking it down girl with my two jobs and my husband's job, we fortunately get paid the same time every two weeks whew! That will make this more simplified.❤
I get paid once a month and use a yellow pad and pen to map out my budget and then record everything in a monthly bill payment book from Amazon which costs less than ten dollars. I've used budgeting books in the past and they just didn't work out in my situation. and because I live on SSDI my money is limited. What's great about a budgeting system is that you can adapt it to fit any income level and go as simple or complex as you wish. Same with cash stuffing binders and envelopes. You can go as affordable as buying binders and envelopes from TEMU/WISH and using handwritten or printed labels all the way to purchasing expensive binders and buyng decorative cash envelopes.
I'm playing catch up watching your videos (sorry not sorry) Emily I truly love you, you have an amazing way of explaining things. I love your business and UA-cam channel. I'm so glad I found you and this cash stuffing method because it truly has helped me ❤
@@theaestheticdollar Thank you! Question on unstuffing real quick. When unstuffing, as a weekly budgeter, would you advise "rolling over" and depositing leftovers monthly or depositing leftovers directly into savings weekly, if I'm on baby step 1.
Thank you so much friend! I already had these filmed and edited so I figured I should upload them! This one was a little late because we got home around 10pm but I was still proud I got it up before Sunday!
Question! I am trying to get out of debt and want the pages, but I don’t have the money for an A5 binder. Can I use a regular 1” binder from target or is it a different size?
It’s a different size but the important part is to just get started and add budgeting items as you can. In a year, you will be amazed at your progress.
I was hoping the pen would be linked - I love the way it writes! Where did you get it? Thank you for this channel - love your content. A fan from up north in Bemidji. :)
Awe cool! My cousin lives in Bemidji!!! The pen is from my website which is linked in the description :) you can find it under either planning or budgeting!
I bought the digital budget binder and I was looking at the "monthly income" sheets and you seem to use it to budget but there is a "planned" and "actual" column which leads me to believe you would do this AFTER the actual amount was received or bill paid. What am I missing here?
Can you please share which bank accounts are used for what? For instance is the Savings Account solely for Emergency Fund savings and Checking Accounts for online bill payments and buffer for online spending?
A magic month is any month where you get an extra paycheck. Usually for people who get paid bi-weekly- instead of the standard 2 paychecks, there might be 3.
Hey Emily great video, thanks for sharing. Very helpful information, friend you are such a blessing to this community 37:54 🖤 take care see you next time
Question for anyone whose done this! I’m paying off debt… so would I stuff high priority then use the remainder to put toward debt? And not really have low priority right now? Thoughts? Thanks!
99% of the time a majority of the pet food, clothing, groceries, shampoo, cleaning supplies etc are purchased at the same time same transaction. Do you just separate them when you get home or would you have groceries as an all together expense.
Can someone tell me why it is called “sinking” funds? The term annoys me but maybe if I understand the reason for the word sinking, it will make sense.
I’ve always wondered that, too! I googled it 😊 “Great Britain. The sinking fund was first used in Great Britain in the 18th century to reduce national debt.”

Hi. Do you enter your cash envelope amounts in EveryDollar?
Let be all of your videos & product.

It’s a different size but the important part is to just get started and add budgeting items as you can. In a year, you will be amazed at your progress.
If you get the non-A5 version, that is formatted to print on regular letter size paper 🫶🏼

Hey what size are the rings in your first binder? They are quite big rings. i like them but i don't know what they are called to find them

Yes that’s what we do!
What I’ve never understood is the term magic month . What’s the difference between a normal month and a magic month ?
A magic month is any month where you get an extra paycheck. Usually for people who get paid bi-weekly- instead of the standard 2 paychecks, there might be 3.

Yes! That’s what we did when we were paying off our debt, throwing as much towards our debt as we possibly could! I’m cheering you on big time! 🙌🏼
@@theaestheticdollar thanks so much!

I separate it when I get home! I mostly shop at target and they categorize everything for the most part so it makes it super easy 🤌🏼

Google says....The name for these funds means "retiring the debt" or, more colorfully, "sinking the debt."
