Hi do you have a video connecting the granny squares with the slip stich. I bought the pattern I'm just more of a visual learner and I'm having a hard time putting it together. Also we crochet them together on the wrong side correct?
Yes you can see a visual of the slip stitch seaming here: ua-cam.com/video/0xreUQ-n_tI/v-deo.htmlsi=5mtXJZEd1uHMh02e The wrong sides are facing you when you’re doing the seaming!
Would it be possible to go up a hook size or 2 on the granny squares to make a larger bag (and also save my arthritic fingers?)
You could definitely try going up a hook size or two! The stitches of the granny squares might not be as dense though (larger gaps), so your overall bag will be larger and might stretch more!

At what point are you changing crochet hooks? Are you just using the 2.75 to weave in ends?
I change to the smaller crochet hook when working the strap to get tighter and denser stitches there!

Is it ok to use acrylic yarn or is cotton best?
You can use acrylic yarn but I find that it is not as strong and may stretch more! The yarn I used (24/7 Cotton) is a very strong and durable mercerized cotton, so it doesn’t stretch or fuzz up easily. I like using this yarn for all my crochet bags as it holds up very well!
Do you have a video how to join the granny
Can u use a 4.5 mm yarn with a 7 mm hook or does it have to be smaller?

Is it everywhere the same yarn size (4mm) or does it change
And is it always the same hook (size) = 3.75 mm
It varies in different sections!
My magic ring has a hole in the middle. Is this a tension problem or a hook size problem?
Are you using the same yarn and hook size that I am? Sometimes you can pull the initial yarn end a little tighter to completely close the hole in the middle!

Hi! How much yarn did you use?
I needed 2 skeins of the main color, 1 skein of the petal color and 1 skein of the center color (4 total)!
Did lion brand discontinue the shade succulent?
It’s currently out of stock, but hopefully they will restock soon!
Somehow on round 2 without fail I end up with 13 single crochets when I’m finished the round. Where am I going wrong?
You can check out my video called “Troubleshooting the Crochet Daisy” - this helps explain why sometimes people are ending up with 13 stitches! It’s for my daisy blanket, but it is the same pattern for the daisy bag (first couple of rounds are the same but they differ later on)!

Do you line your bags ? If not do they stretch a lot ?
Some of my pattern testers have lined their crocheted bags! I use a bag organizer insert for my own bags. I try not to load them up with too many heavy items to prevent too much stretching! I find that using the smaller crochet hook and mercerized cotton helps to prevent too much stretching as well.
