I was thinking of doing something along the lines of infrared nightivison using car rearview cameras and some powerful infrared LEDs and small ass TFT LCDs and put them inside an FMA PVS-14 dummy housing but I could never find the parts I need, and with the current pandemic, things are proving difficult. But you just blew my mind friend. Keep doing what you do.
Maybe try using AliExpress and searching for "video eyepiece", "FPV monocle" or "viewfinder", there should be something there you can use. The same items appear on eBay, but with a hefty "retail" mark-up. I'm currently working on a replica PVS-7 using a low-lux security camera, "super-fast" 4mm f0.95 lens and some viewfinders I found on AliExpress.

I've settled to low lux FPV cameras like the Foxeer Cat and a PVS-15 dummy shell from TMC. I'm gonna 5V USB power using a portable power brick to act as counterweight as well.

This is so cool. I would love to get into night vision for airsoft. I'm in the UK and unfortunately its hard to come by dual tube gen 3 night vision and might be more affordable to buy two single tubes and convert it. Pvs14s arent too hard to come by. It would be really cool to do a conversion like this to get dual tube gen 3+ night vision. Are you selling the components to make this? Any instructions on how its assembled? I would love to learn how to make this some day
Many italians have made the digital one and started selling it 800-1200. But prices are very high. At this point better just buying two intensifiers and making your own into a cool US casing as you show here.. just buying a FMA or other made one, ..an italian maker has even added a camera recording device in one but it's not sold stuff it's made for him. However shows how to do it (open source). Intensifiers sure.. cost 2k each at least.. but at that point maybe the whole thing becomes too expensive better go for a digital one especially if it's one first experience (and maybe the only one one will have) .. and keep it working protected, useful in any situations without the anxia to break it or getting it damaged by others. Solo stuff is ok but not fun... using it in a co-op\force on force experience is the ultimate aim ...

@@Orangejuice864 maybe $6k minimum with a Gen2+ tube. But a good quality one can run you about 8-10k. Now with this mod, a cheap housing that costs less than a $100 plus two tubes worth $5k, you'd be spending $5.5k at the least, but they're not ruggedized, nitrogen purged and definitely not waterproof.

야시경 질소주입은 전용장비를 이용합니다. 야시경마다 질소주입구가 별도로 있으며 질소챔버내에 야시경을 넣고 진공상태로 만들고 질소를 넣고 주입구에 마개를 막는 방법으로 설명드리겠습니다.

Did you use a real pvs31 battery pack or did you do some custome electronics and wiring in it and get a cable seperate?
also, can you make it so you do not need to adjust for distance?
I made the wiring myself and made the eyepiece diopter and main lens focus adjustable.

작업공정상 영상증폭관 제조시설은 반도체 제작공정에 맞먹습니다.
시험시설투자만 50억 이상이 들어갑니다.
전세계에서 영상증폭관을 양산하는 업체가 몇업체 되지않는것만 보아도 기술적으로 개인제작은 불가능합니다.
커스텀 역시 불가능하지만 수리는 가능할수 있습니다.
저는 부품만 있으면 수리는 가능합니다.
제조시설에 대한 자료사진을 확보할수있을지 장담하기 어려우나 영상으로 제작할수있는 방안을 검토해보겠습니다.

@@rn4an4kin41 대물렌즈의 푸른빛은 코팅면의 반사되는 색상입니다. 야투경의 렌즈에는 다양한 코팅이 이루어지는데 그것이 복합적으로 이뤄 파란색의 색상을 띄게 됩니다. 더미제품들에 이런 느낌을 적용하기는 어렵지않을까 생각됩니다.

@@rn4an4kin41 렌즈 코팅은 어떤 코팅인지만 알면 광학코팅업체라면 모두 가능합니다. 그리고 국내에서도 가능하고요, 다만 한판(대략 야투경 대물렌즈 기준 50장정도가 올라가는 베드사이즈)정도 샘플코팅하는데 대략 200만원정도가 소요됩니다.
