That's $16,000 in tubes alone, assuming they are Gen 3. Resin plastic is actually more brittle than FDM. I just built this, and it basically works like a binocular system, but with two circular views on the edges. So it is like you are viewing through three circles. I'm currently experimenting with some 3D printed prism designs and plan to try to make an image collector from borosilicate to see if I can help remove the blind spots. As is however, it is a significant boost over bino setups, you just need to be aware of your blind spot and keep your head panning slightly so you don't lose awareness of what is in your blind spot. @@tagart01 Would love to see more videos, especially through the tubes, in conjunction with an IR laser if possible. And also if you do commercialize it, what would the possible price point be? And any issued do you think with shipping to US? I'd be very interested in this even as a budget NVG intro considering it uses actual intensifier tubes....only matter would be ensuring the housing can take a little use here an there ya know.
Make my Gpnvg 18 dummy to a real Nvg brooooo xD
anvis 9 !!!
In terms of cost... How much did you spend making these guys? Cause I can already imagine you saved a ton of money and problems making your own gpnvg instead of buying it.
The only real cost is the IIT, which cost me $7,200 total. I had the tube lying around though. His design however has the flaw that there isn't a prism so the images are not joined together and you have two big black bars on the side of the main image. I would not go out and buy tubes just for this build, Kommandostore has a complete pano kit already made for $13,500. Which has a real prism like the real thing.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj Gor any link?
make thermal vision
Look, we've all seen the Predator too, but in real life thermal vision would actually suck in an airsoft/wartime environment.
@@RavenDrakearud can he pull it off tho
@@172ontop actually, probably. FLIR cameras are getting smaller and cheaper by the day and you can buy FLIR modules that plug into your phone, so either buy those or the sensors and put that on a board for video pass through and bam. Slap an OLED in there and you're golden.
알고리즘에 떠서 봤더니 한국인분이셨네요 진짜 대단하십니다
