Sounds like a great premise of a movie: A woman enchanted by doing jigsaw puzzles is magically transported into the scenes of all the puzzles upon finishing them.
Ravensburger is the best of the best...or art and fable...I do mostly ravensburger or buffalo....enjoy all your puzzles. I enjoy your chit chat.....don't stop talking. There are a lot of just speed puzzling that I find boring..so far you are not boring...have fun
Whether I’ve had good or bad puzzles, I love to make the best of all my puzzling experiences! Thank you for the feedback! I’m happy to hear you are enjoying my videos😁
Awesome gift haul; you must have been VERY good that year, lol! I got a puzzle scoop, too, and I use it often. The magnification isn’t great, but in combo with the light, it’s been a game-changer. And I do use it to move puzzle chunks quite often, too. Oh, and genius idea, Aquarius!
I guess I was 😂Hopefully this year, people will think I've been very good again LOL. We shall see! I'm currently working on my 3K puzzle count challenge and I've been using that scoop nonstop. It's so handy.
I love the Dowdle Puzzle! Just the other day I saw a Minnie and Mickey Dowdle Puzzle. The bag is awesome - Tenyo does that aswell I think. Aquarius has got the best jigsaws - so nice images! I've got a 3000 pieces with all the MCU Posters. Ravensburger is all over here in Germany. But the quality is good, you can't go wrong with it.
In the beginning, Ceaco was always my go-to. But as I've branched out to other brands, I've learned that there is more out there that can offer a better experience for the same price. My very first experience with a Ravensburger honestly wasn't that great, so I can understand your thoughts on the comparison. I'm planning to work on another Ravensburger soon to see if it can change my thoughts so far.
Ravensburger definitely are higher quality in terms of the manufacturing but finding a picture I like from them at a reasonble cost is harder. The ones I do like are definitely pricey. I'm a newbie so I might splurge more once I decide puzzling is something I want to do in the long term. I'm quite hooked and loving it! Which other brands do you like and recommend? Buffalo, Vermont and Bits & Pieces are other budget brands that I've bought and find them satisfying too.
@@meropale Masterpieces are also around the same price range depending on the collection, I really like them too. Currently, my most favorite brand is Schmidt, which is also a German brand like Ravensburger. I also recommend White Mountain puzzles. I got a big list of new to me puzzle brands/video reviews coming soon, so I'm really looking forward to seeing what they're all about.
@@thepuzzledmandy Hi! I just looked up mystery puzzles on Amazon. There are some that are half off at the moment. Was very tempted to buy more than one.
I have several Thomas Kincade puzzles with the brand Schmidt. At the moment I am doing my first Thomas Kincade Disney puzzle again with Schmidt (The Little Mermaid) and love it. I have done lots of Ravensburger puzzles including the Parisian one you have. It was lovely to do.
I definitely have to try Schmidt, especially since they have Disney Thomas Kincaid puzzles, and compare it with Ceaco. Now you got me even more excited for the Parisian puzzle!
I'm glad I have a good number of videos up on the channel. Plenty to view whilst I'm away, but I'm already looking forward to getting started on the next pile of puzzle/videos when I get back 😅 HP is the best! Slytherin pride here 🐍🐍🐍
I'm currently doing a Ceaco Puzz 750 pcs called Animal Jam. Artist Lynn Johnston who does the Better Half comic strip. Big fun. Bright, colorful, sharp and clear. That is Animal Jam: DOGS, CATS & BIRDS. (Best of 3)
I really do have to try a Ceaco puzzle that's not a Thomas Kincaid image, where the artwork tends to be a bit fuzzy/blurry. I'll look into the artist you mentioned and see what catches my eye.
I did my first Ravensburger 500 piece a few months ago and really liked how the pieces stuck together. I have another one which is a escape room puzzle I haven't opened yet. Have you ever done a escape room puzzle? Looking forward to your next video!
I can't wait to start a Ravensburger! I've heard of the escape room puzzles but I have never tried one. It for sure will be one that I'll look into getting soon. It sounds really interesting!
I did the Pocahontas puzzle. It was more challenging than it looks, but I liked it. I really enjoy how you put yourself in all the puzzle scenes. 😂Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you! The Pocahontas puzzle did look quite intimidating. These Thomas Kincaid images do tend to be challenging, but I guess thats just the style of the artwork/image.

This comment really made my day LOL. I read this while at work and I couldn't stop laughing!

Living in a place like Clock Tower Cottage seems like a nice idea until you notice that it's built in a floodplain. But happy puzzling!
Well not only that, but imagine trying to take a nap during the day and someone has the nerve to start ringing that big bell on top of the cottage!
I quite enjoy your “yapping” 😊
LOL thank you!
Me too
Ditto
Sending you big healing hugs!! Xxx Love your sense of humour - you always make me smile and giggle. 💜🧩
Thank you for the well wishes. Happy I can make you smile!😁
I enjoy listening to you, I hope you have more reviews and running commentary while you puzzle. So much fun to watch your videos!
Thank you so much! I sure do have lots of reviews planned amongst other ideas.

Dowdle puzzles are reallllly nice fun whimsy style pieces

That MCU one sounds really cool! I can't wait to try all my new sets. Ravensburger is definitely one I'm super looking forward to.
Jigsaw journey!!!
Some serious amount of journeys I'll be having with that pile 🤣
I love Ceaco puzzles. They are considered a budget brand but so far I find them no less satisfying to put together than a Ravensburger.

My husband just ordered me a mystery puzzle. One where you solve a mystery based on the picture.
I've never heard of a mystery puzzle, that sounds awesome! What brand is this?

Have you ever made springbok puzzles love them
I've never put one together, but I do own one that has a beautiful view of Central Park in NYC. I can't wait to get to it.
I have the 500 aquarius Slytherin puzzle
Ooo I’d love a Slytherin puzzle. That’s my house!
@@thepuzzledmandy me too. I knew there was a reason I liked you 😃
I just use regular matte mod podge to glue my puzzles
I'll look into that one, thank you!
You'll probs ditch some of those cheaper brands as you go- I know the more I puzzle the more frustrated I get with the cheaper ones hahahaha
I wouldn't be surprised if I do stop buying certain puzzles. I'm gonna get spoiled with the better ones lol.
I do not have that puzzle
Which one?
