I’m almost looking forward to trying out my first 2k very soon, I’m freaking out about it 😅 the biggest set I own is Karen Puzzles 3k set. It looks like it’ll be a nightmare Lolol.
Hi Mandy, thank you for posting a very detailed description of your strategy in tackling this puzzle. We have only gone up to 1000 pieces. You are our inspiration. Keep well and happy puzzling 👍
when covid first hit i started with a 500 piece, a 750, four 1000, and a reluctant two 1500 piece puzzles before the restaurant i worked for opened back up. most were disney/disney owned franchises, and i would start while eating breakfast and would continue well past midnight 😅 i love seeing others so passionate about puzzles and you have gained a new subscriber!
Thank you for joining! If I had all the money, I would grab every single Disney set I could find. And what better way to spend the day than puzzling from morning till night! I wish I could do that. My puzzling time has to fit in small gaps throughout my busy week ☹️ Who knows, maybe one day I'll make so much UA-cam money that I can quit my job and do this full time...(in my dreams🤣)
I did have a lot of fun, but those frames did make me feel quite desperate at times 🤣 2000 will for sure be my next biggest count attempt. I will probably start working on that once I reach 1500 subscribers.
Congrats on getting to 1k! I haven't done a 1500-piece puzzle yet though I do have one in my collection. If I ever get through the puzzles that a cousin loaned to me, I plan on getting around to it. I have done a 2000-piece puzzle before though. Just one so far. It took me a while to get going on it because I felt a bit overwhelmed with so many pieces, but once I got a few things put together on it, it wasn't so bad. I have a couple of 3000 and a 5000 count in my collection.
Thank you! I get the same way when I see a huge pile of pieces sitting in front of me. I kind of just go blank LOL. But once I get in the groove of sorting and arranging, I just can't stop. What is your 5000 piece set?
@@mermaidheather Oh WOW, that looks like it'll be quite a challenge with 5k pieces! Maybe you can try using a number of foam boards so that you can work on it in sections.
@@thepuzzledmandy I love gradient puzzles. They are easy but still challenging I think. I've heard/seen others using foam boards but I'm not sure where to get them. I'm assuming I might be able to find them at the local Hobby Lobby though.
@@mermaidheather You can find them at Hobby Lobby or any craft stores. I also tend to find them in places like CVS, and you can get them real cheap at Dollar General and Walmart. Pretty much anywhere that has a stationary aisle.
Well done. 😊. My largest so far was the 6000 piece „Downtown „ from clementoni. Beautiful puzzle. I have larger, ( Ravensburgers‘ magical dragon forest) but haven’t done it yet.
Oh wow, that is a beautiful puzzle! So many vibrant colors! I've seen that Magical Dragon as well, and that one is also pretty amazing. I really need to start figuring out which massive puzzle sets I want to pick out for future fun. There's so many amazing sets to choose from, but darn they are so expensive 😂
@@thepuzzledmandy some are expensive, very true. I always look for the special offers. I have to say the prices for clementoni are unbeatable. But I don’t know how expensive they are where you live.
@@louisescheider7151 I'm seeing just a few Clementoni sets on Amazon for about $25, but the selection is extremely poor. I don't even think I've seen this brand in any of my local shops.
Biggest count I've ever done is 3000. It takes forever and just barely fits on my big Puzzleboard, so I'll almost always stay with my favorite 1000 piece puzzles.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get a 2K set on my puzzle table as I know it's not big enough. I also have a 1k set that doesn't fit on it either. Probably going to look into seeing if I can find a second table, but bigger. 1k tends to be my favorite count as well!
You got your first 1500 done! That's so fun! I love the image, and can see where the frame was a bugger. Oh! A tiny idea for your Discord site. Maybe people would like to share a pic of their puzzle shelf, or closet. I think that would be fun, though I'd have to jump into some organizing and cleaning ;) Thanks again for an entertaining video!
You are very welcome, happy you enjoyed it! It really was a lot of fun. Makes me want to do another Disney image 😂. Thank you for the Discord idea, I will make note of it and add it to what I have set up so far. I will be putting some updates about it very soon.
I did this same puzzle but mine had a printing error on it putting a line through where the Dalmatians are 😢. Been subscribed for a while so I’m happy for you hitting 1K subs! Much deserved!
It felt like 10 days at times LOL. But I loved it so much I didn't want to stop working on it. There's another Disney 1500 piece that I want to work on with Beauty and the Beast. It's super dark so I feel like that one would actually take me 10 days 😂
Awesome work Mandy! What a pain that frame at the end was, but you got through it. I have been thinking recently that it's a bit of a shame that puzzling always ends with doing the boring tedious part as the last memories of the puzzle but at least the sense of accomplishment helps level that out. 1500 is also the biggest count I've ever done although I have a 2000 piece puzzle in my collection now that I just keep politely pretending doesn't exist (I'm scared!) I am glad to hear that the fit was better on these puzzles though! Even though the blurry image is a shame. I'm always so down on Ceaco puzzles but then I go to do one and end up having a great time. They make up for the lack of quality by having such fun images.
Thank you! You are right about how puzzles can sometimes leave you with the annoying areas to complete, kinda leaves you feeling desperate in the end to just get it over with, the fun parts are over lol. I'm so happy I've finally conquered this count, but I know how you feel about the 2000 piece set (I'm scared too). I really was surprised this fit was so much better, especially because my only experiences with the Ceaco fits were terrible. The images really are the one thing that makes this brand desirable.
Congrats on 1k subscribers!!! The largest puzzle I have ever done is 2000pc. The puzzle you are getting ready to do I have done earlier this year, same brand, same puzzle. The border is little challenging but I ended up doing it last. I really enjoyed it and do believe you will as well.
Thank you! This truly was a fantastic image to work on (except the border was a pain), and I was happy to finally conquer my biggest count yet. Next step up will be a 2k set. I'm a little scared, but greatly looking forward to it.
Hi Mandy, great video and great job on the 1500 piece puzzle. What a beautiful image.🥰 I used to do only puzzles with a maximum of 1000 pieces. Untill I got the 5000 piece Ravensburger Disney puzzle for my birthday (Artistic Mickey). I must say honestly that it was a big challenge for me but I had fun putting it together. Currently I'm working on the 9000 piece Disney puzzle from Trefl. (Polish brand). It is actually easier than the 5000 piece puzzle as it comes in a set of 6 bags with each 1500 pieces. I must say that these puzzles with large piece counts can be fun. But I like the 1000 piece puzzles the best. I only chose these 2 large puzzles because of the beautiful Disney images. Looking forward to your next puzzle adventure 😊
Thank you so much!! 🤗 WOW, that Artistic Mickey set looks like it'll have to be part of my collection, and my first 5K. That is absolutely beautiful!! And that Trefl set as well!! You have my kind of taste when it comes to Disney puzzle images😁.
Thank you! I felt so good once I popped that last piece in 😁But that frame though, that was some tough stuff. This image was a beast, but I plan to happily display it on my wall 🧩
@@thepuzzledmandy I did indeed, have done a few 2000s, but nothing bigger! so kiddos for stepping out of the comfort zone, bet the feeling of conquering a bigger puzzle was very good! im really tempted to start a 3000 pieces but oh god it will take some major courage haha. again, you have a very great personality Mandy and that comes through in your videos, I wish you another 1000 subscribers in no time! thanks again for the awesome video.
@@RicPuzzles Aw thank you so much Ric! I think when I eventually hit 2K, I'll make the 3K my next challenge. You should do the 3K though, and let me know how good or bad it was 😆Who knows, you might love it in the end.
Great video! You made us excited to do this one ourselves when we get a chance! I don't know if you have ever done any research into this, but have you ever gotten a not-Ceaco brand of a Thomas Kinkade puzzle? For example, we really wanted the Thomas Kinkade Aristocats puzzle, which was released by the company Schmidt, not Ceaco. It was a lot more expensive, but the piece quality is different (and we think better) in interesting ways.
Oh great, you will very much enjoy putting this one together! Oh yes, I have heard of Schmidt and am looking to pick one up very soon! I'm excited to see how much better it is than Ceaco. I'm glad there is another company that produces Disney Thomas Kincaid images.
My biggest puzzle, to date, were only 1500 pieces as well. But that was of a winter landskapet with a castle and wolves, and quite a bit of sky. That puzzle I struggled with, due to all the fur, snow and sky parts. Did not sort puzzles much back then either. Your puzzle looks more fun in regards to the picture. My prefered kind of Disney puzzle picture as well, with the classic Disney characters. Also approve of the books were you found the puzzle piece as well. Have read some of Michael Crichtons work (Jurassic Park). One thing I wish puzzle companies would do, if they are going to have the puzzle pieces in a plastic bag, why not make it a re-sealable bag. I always put my done puzzle pieces into a re-sealable plastic bag so that I may re-open the bag and use it again if I were to do the puzzle again.
I can imagine how difficult that puzzle was. Those kinds of images always get me struggling as well, as it can be quite confusing making out the details within the puzzle pieces. Classic Disney images are my favorite, especially if its in a Thomas Kincaid style. My husband is a big Crichton fan, and I really did enjoy Jurassic Park. As for puzzle companies, I totally agree with you! Why not put them in a resealable bag?? The only brand that I've experienced doing this is Dowdle. It's almost like the issue with breakfast cereal and potato chips...why not have that in a resealable bag too!!!
I totally admire your skills in doing jigsaws. If it were me, I'd probably end up having Mickey Mouse wearing Cinderella's dress and make a total mess of it, yet then I'd also write back to the producer and say...you got it wrong, this is how it's supposed to look like. It is a gorgeous jigsaw and you must feel very proud of yourself. Just the other day I rxd the 529-piece double-sided Wolf Jigsaw. If I had more money, I would get you a copy 🙂
Thank you Ernie. I'm no expert in the slightest when it comes to jigsaws, but I do my best to try to explain my methods and reasonings. But hey, that would make for a very interesting puzzle if they had Mickey in Cinderella's dress! That dress is one of my favorites anyways 🤣 I just looked up that Wolf puzzle, and if I found the right one, that would absolutely make me insane! That's noted as "Worlds Most Difficult Puzzle" right? If so, then yikes. Save your money for your move/storage units!!!
@@thepuzzledmandy I hope you know I'm in stitches laughing over here. The dress is gorgeous, fully agreed 10000%. Yep, the wolf and most difficult......I only paid like re $45 with postage yet would cost way more for me to send it to you being in the US.....i still would like to see you, at some stage even if months away to give one of those a go....double sided ones...... :-) Sense you'd be mega frustrated yet love it at the same time. I can actually imagine you doing this on a glass-top table and getting under the table to see if the pic makes sense lo.....that would be hilarious to see on video......
@@erniesulovic4734 Having a glass table would probably be the only way I could possibly work on that image 🤣 Maybe one day I'll be brave enough to give one of those sets a go, but right now, I'd rather work on trying to make Ceaco make that Mickey in a Cindy dress puzzle a reality 🤣🤣
Good job on that 1500 piece. I myself am not quite ready for puzzles over 1K. I have about 3 Ravensburger, 2 Cobble Hill, and 2 White Mountain puzzles to work on. One of my puzzles I gave up on cause it was too hard for me. Ravensburger "Planetary Visions". Harder than I thought. Waiting a bit to do my next puzzle. Good luck with your next puzzle.
Thank you! Oh my, that Planetary Visions set does look super hard with all those little tiny stars. I know I would also struggle with something like that. I think what really helped motivate me to take on this 1500 piece was the fact that I just love the image so much. Do you think you will attempt that puzzle again in the future? It is quite beautiful.
Hi Mandy, I’m doing this puzzle right now, i had a question on the border the green outline on the edge is that on the side?, you did so good on the puzzle!
Hello! Happy to hear you are currently working on this one. 😁Are you enjoying it? I'm not sure what you mean regarding the green outline on the edge. The outside frame/border/edge of the entire image has a thin plain edge, but its a yellow/golden tone. Is this what you're referring too?
Congrats Mandy! I love your videos. The biggest puzzle I have done was 4000 pieces "The Puzzle of the World" by Anatolian. I don't believe I will go larger.
Thank you so much, I appreciate it!! That set you completed looks like it was REALLY hard. Did you enjoy it, or do you feel like it kind of made you go off trying out other bigger count sets?
@jewelry bypatsdesign4108. Wow! 4K piece count is a beast and would have me worn out by the sorting alone. How long did it take you? Congrats on completing it 👏👏
I did enjoy putting it together. The earth and planets were fairly easy but the atmosphere was a beast. It took me about 10 days of the two weeks of completion. I took a day off here and there to give my eyes a break. I really don’t want to go bigger as of now but who knows what the future holds.
@@jewelrybypatsdesign4108 Honestly, I think 10 days is pretty good timing. And yes, for something like that, it's best to take breaks. I suffer with the same thing with my eyes after awhile LOL.
Thank you! That 9000 Ravensburger looks like a beast of a puzzle, but that image is amazing! I can imagine it being a lot of fun to complete. I wouldn't mind tackling something like that 🤩
Well. I was really looking forward to put it together. I had so many pieces everywhere. I had a moment of panic. Lol. Just one piece at a time. I wish I could send pictures.

Even though Ceaco quality isn't great, it's still the biggest part of my entire collection because I just love the images. And really the price is not bad. I can't wait to step it up to a 2000 piece set. I think I currently have two other sets in that count, but I know I'm not ready yet!

I have to agree with a lot of Disney puzzles having the dark and muted colors at times, especially the Thomas Kincaid. They can be pretty challenging. And so you know, I couldn't believe this actually passed the standing test. I was blown away 🤯. This one is definitely going on my wall, it's become very special to me now. This one took me about 10 hours to complete, but it really depends on your skill level so it's hard for me to say. This was my very first 1500 count and I thought it would've taken me a lot longer.
I voted for this puzzle cause I wanted to do it! I’ve still only done 1000 pieces as my biggest puzzle size, those take me a while and I’m pretty new to puzzling so I haven’t wanted to do 1500 yet. I started my Lilo and stitch puzzle, it’s soooooo hard, I forgot how bad the glare is. Have you seen the Magic Puzzle Company before? I did my first one from them (the crystal caves) and really enjoyed it I think you would love them.
Take your time and enjoy your 1000 piece sets! You'll know when you're ready to take on a bigger challenge. I had a feeling that Lilo and Stitch was going to be hard, and I know the glare on those sets are no joke. It really doesn't help. I had never heard of the Magic Puzzle Company, but I just looked up the Crystal Caves set, and they look like so much fun. Those little characters look so darn cute!
The biggest puzzle I’ve ever done is the Karen puzzles Puzzles on Puzzles 3000 piece puzzle and it took me 2 months with my mom, boyfriend and sister all working on it sporadically we just finished it on Memorial Day this year 😄
I also have a 3K from Karen Puzzles! I was going to work on it for my 3K challenge, but I can't help but stick with Disney for these milestones. Karens puzzle does look really challenging though, so I'm not surprised it took several of you to put it together. It's massive!

Thank you so much! I'm glad others can decode my ramblings, at least I feel like I'm rambling half the time🤣
Congratulations Mandy! It's gorgeous! I'm glad you had fun!
Thank you so much!! I'm so in love with this puzzle that it's definitely going up on my wall!
I did this same puzzle but mine had a printing error on it putting a line through where the Dalmatians are 😢. Been subscribed for a while so I’m happy for you hitting 1K subs! Much deserved!
Thank you so much!! 🤗
But oh man that sucks. I would've been real sad if mine had an error like that. Especially since it's going to be displayed.
Wow all done in n
10 hours! That one would take me 10 days😮( at least)
1500 is also the biggest count I've ever done although I have a 2000 piece puzzle in my collection now that I just keep politely pretending doesn't exist (I'm scared!)
I am glad to hear that the fit was better on these puzzles though!
WOW, that Artistic Mickey set looks like it'll have to be part of my collection, and my first 5K. That is absolutely beautiful!! And that Trefl set as well!! You have my kind of taste when it comes to Disney puzzle images😁.
Good job Mandy!!! You did it! That frame was a real beast. The puzzle looks fantastic :)
Thank you! I felt so good once I popped that last piece in 😁But that frame though, that was some tough stuff. This image was a beast, but I plan to happily display it on my wall 🧩
ah so cool Mandy! 1500? mmm what a challenge! my biggest was 2000pcs btw. have a great week ahead!
Nice, you've conquered 2k! That'll be my next big step, hopefully it won't take me too long to feel ready for it LOL.
Thanks
Thank you so much Mark!!
🎉🎉🎉 can’t wait to start mine.
Those edge pieces tho…😳😳😳
You're going to love it! But yea, be prepared for those edges though 🤯
That dress is one of my favorites anyways 🤣
I just looked up that Wolf puzzle, and if I found the right one, that would absolutely make me insane!
Congrats on 1K! 😊
Thank you!! 😁
Someone suggested dumping puzzle into a strainer to get rid of dust. I am going to try that next time to see if it will work good
Yes, I have heard of that tip. All this time, I've yet to buy a separate strainer to test it out myself 😂
@@simplydee4522 the sorting was awful. It took forever and as you go you have to sort and sort some more. All in all the 10 days was enjoyable.
@@jewelrybypatsdesign4108 Honestly, I think 10 days is pretty good timing. And yes, for something like that, it's best to take breaks. I suffer with the same thing with my eyes after awhile LOL.
Good job and congrats
. I have done a 9000 Ravensburger magical dragon forest. It was so much fun.
Thank you!
That 9000 Ravensburger looks like a beast of a puzzle, but that image is amazing! I can imagine it being a lot of fun to complete. I wouldn't mind tackling something like that 🤩
It comes in two bags. But I mixed them up. I had to sort pieces for like 3 days straight. It was so tedious.
@@hectormorales2313 Only 3 days to sort 9K?! You're a puzzle beast! That would've most likely taken me 3 months to sort out 😆
Well. I was really looking forward to put it together. I had so many pieces everywhere. I had a moment of panic. Lol. Just one piece at a time. I wish I could send pictures.
@@hectormorales2313 It certainly does help immensely when the image itself is super amazing. It gives you that intense motivation, even during moments of panic lol. Your want to send pictures just gave me an idea for the Discord server (message forum) that I'm working on!
I love your video's. Can you make more than what you do now?
Thank you so much! Believe me, I wish I had the time to push out more videos as I very much enjoy it. Between taking care of my family and work, I'm left with little pockets of time throughout the week to puzzle and edit. Sometimes, it's hard for me to keep up with just one video a week. Who knows, maybe one day I'll make start making so much UA-cam money that I can quit my job and do this full time...in my dreams🤣
@@thepuzzledmandy I hope your dream come true!🙏🏻
9000 Magical Dragon Forest by Ravensburger. The problem with big count puzzles is, that there are rarely really nice motives. But this one I liked.
Oh my goodness, that puzzle is absolutely beautiful! I do love fantasy! Did you manage to save it once you completed it?
@@thepuzzledmandy I want to preserve it and hang it on the wall behind my bed. But I have no idea how to go about doing that for that size: 2m x 1.4m. So, for now, I have it stored on 8 sheets of foam board.
@@zimt I'm glad you have it saved at least. I can't imagine trying to display something that big though. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to hang this one up. Might very well be my first time gluing a puzzle together.
Congratulations Mandy on the completion of this puzzle! 🎊 I've only completed 1,000 pieces but have a 2,000 on my table. I'm curious to know whether there is an ultimate puzzle piece count that you would like to conquer? Thanks for the video 🧩✌️
Thank you! 2000 will be the next beast I tackle when it comes to my biggest count sets. It'll be awhile till I feel like I'm ready for that though. I think I'll take it on when I hit 1500 subscribers. As for my ultimate puzzle piece count, I honestly don't know. I almost feel like I should conquer my way up to eventually reaching the biggest puzzle in the world. I'm willing to try anything really. That would be a fun and interesting journey!
@@thepuzzledmandy Well, we're here for your puzzling journey.
Wow 🤩. That’s impressive! What puzzle table do you use to fit such a big puzzle?
It sure was an adventure 😁Now I'm planning to start working on my first 2K count soon. My puzzle table is from Amazon, La Vie Vert is the brand, and can hold up to 1500 count puzzles. I think its about 35x 26 inches.
The 6000 one is educa anamals coming out if a pic in ti the front room
Oh wow, that looks really challenging!! Especially with that amount of pieces. I would be really intimidated to work on something like that.
The largest puzzle I have done is 60,000 pieces. I am just about finished!!! The puzzle is 'What a wonderful world' by Dowdle.
Oh my goodness!! You're tackling the biggest puzzle in the world! I have so many questions! I absolutely love that puzzle. Where/how are you working on it?? How does ones brain handle such a massive project??
@thepuzzledmandy it is broken down into 60 sections. Each one is 1000 pieces. Then I tape each section. When it's all done I want to donate it to a school

Even though Ceaco quality isn't great, it's still the biggest part of my entire collection because I just love the images. And really the price is not bad. I can't wait to step it up to a 2000 piece set. I think I currently have two other sets in that count, but I know I'm not ready yet!

The biggest puzzle I have completed was Karen’s Puzzle 3000 piece. This puzzle Disney Classic, I completed a month ago. Currently I’m working on Ravensburger Novel Avenue 2000 piece. The bigger the better. Lol!!
I have Karen's 3k set, and that one certainly looks like a beast. Did you find it very challenging? I just looked up Novel Avenue, and that set looks absolutely gorgeous! Are you enjoying it so far?
wellll yes it was lunch time again.... I am not a Disney fan - I like the characters but most puzzles have so many dark areas. And muted colors.... if they were brighter colors yes I would choose them........ but I will say I really liked this puzzle, I liked how it came with a "frame" I hope it did do the pickup challenge so yes you can hang it up..would look nice in your room...... so glad it fit on your board... I have only done 1000.. the recent one I purchased is a large piece 1000 and it wont fit on my board, not sure what plan B will be... ?? what will your plan B for Karen's 3000... I hope you do a video of that one... soooooooooooo glad you found that missing piece..... Congrats on doing this large count you are now ready to move up to your 2000 ones....Hope your daughter is better and your work week goes smooth..... keep cool... see ya in the next one!!!
As for plan B for Karen, I'm probably going to have to buy foam boards. There will definitely be a video for that one too!

I am just curious. I just ordered this puzzle. How many hours should this take to finish 20-30 hours. I want to get it done for a Christmas gift.
This one took me about 10 hours to complete, but it really depends on your skill level so it's hard for me to say. This was my very first 1500 count and I thought it would've taken me a lot longer.
@ yes it will be challenging. I have separated all the frame pieces and I have about 90 minutes in. Thank you
I voted for this puzzle cause I wanted to do it!
Forgot to say-so happy for you that you hit 1K subscribers that’s awesome!!!!!!! I love your videos.
Thank you so much!! 🤗🤗
The biggest puzzle I’ve ever done is the Karen puzzles Puzzles on Puzzles 3000 piece puzzle and it took me 2 months with my mom, boyfriend and sister all working on it sporadically we just finished it on Memorial Day this year 😄

Sorting seems like a lot of time spent not doing the puzzle.
It certainly is a lot of time spent not actually putting the pieces together! I know sorting is not for everyone, and I never used to sort in the past. But now, I guess I feel like in a way, I'm still technically doing/solving the puzzle even when I'm just sorting the pieces. I used to spend ages just staring at a bunch of pieces piled in a box, and not actually doing anything, because I would just be so overwhelmed LOL.
