For anyone who wants to know this still works, the timing just takes a bit to pull of consistently, also try not to go past 20,000 of any type of junk item at a single workshop as when it gets higher than that the game can glitch and treat a stacked junk item as a single item instead… losing 20k plus adhesive cause you got greedy don’t feel too good.

If you hold your controller normally, hit X with your thumb then slide it to B and hold, do it fast and it should work.

The Highest Amount you can Duplicate is 65,535 at any 1 time.
Don’t drop anything at 65,536 or above or else it’ll glitch back to 1 again.

Everyone says how easy and it is ONCE you get it. If youre having the same problem as me, which is where when you release b it closes the menu, simply hit a to store before releasing b to scrap!

Press scrap, release scrap, press and hold store while confirming the choice. If only store or scrap dialog pops up, cancel out and try again. It is easier than you might think.

I know you're probably not gonna see this, but, after trying for a few hours I'm done with trying. When in workshop, i get the scrap menu to come up over the store, but, whenever I let go of the B button, or keep it held down, the scrap menu goes away. I think it's because, I have heavy thumbs and I'm not fast enough with it.
