I have owned my 1971 4-4-2 W-30 since I bought it in 1979 for $4,100 dollars and was driving it around this morning. It's black with a black vinyl top and interior, white stripes and a four speed trans and completely original. It came with manual brakes and no power steering or power assist anything. The original owner probably didn't want any power to be used anywhere but in the rear wheels. It also has a 373 posi 10 bolt rear. It has no rear wing spoiler which was option # W-35 if I remember correctly and could have been had at the time of ordering for an additional $35.00. Back in the early 80's I used to drive and enter my Olds to many, many car shows and never saw another 4-4-2 with the rear spoiler option. Rallye 350's yes, 442's never. Today, we rarely see a 442 without it. I suspect that practically every one you will see is a repro. But, they do look great I have to admit! Also without checking, I believe a 12 bolt rear was not available on the 1971 442, Oldsmobile only offered 10 bolt rears in 1971. This car is a very nice tribute!
I always really liked Oldsmobiles. For me (and this is not a negative comment about this car), I liked the 1970 vertical tailights. As I can't affored this car, this comment is irrelevant. Sure is a pretty car.
Love the early 1970’s Oldsmobile cutlass and 442. I owned a 1972 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme with the 350, four (4) barrel carburetor. Not the 442, but the styling, handling and performance was outstanding! To this day, still the best car I ever owned. 😊
Wow wow, a special superb jaymobile, orange blossom special 😊😊😊😊😊thanks jay grams president of volo cars and russel for perfect photografy from Tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊

What I like about these videos is the honesty. "The upholstery LOOKS LIKE it has been redone." No misleading claims. 👍
Wow it is so awesome to see Jay test drive one of his vehicles what a real treat
Love Oldsmobiles! Had a couple of 65’ f-85. One of my favorites ever.
Like a new 71. That is a classic. Thank you, Volo car museum is great.
That's one beautiful muscle car. The orange paint just glows under the lights. It is really cool lookin over a hood scoop.

Personally I think it would look better if the back spoiler was painted black
I thought 4-4-2 's were manuals?
I don't think that any car with that much power should have drum brakes. It should have 4-wheel disc brakes for safety.
One word....gaudy
