Honestly, how does Derek do it? He drives nine hundred miles in the rain, in the cold, in an uncomfortable car, and still has a smile to share with us all.
In all fairness Tony Angelo may single handedly be responsible for the aftermarket industry. They just keep making better and stronger parts until is survives a test drive from Tony. Maybe I'm kidding, but when you see him at the end of the strip, his face said that even he feels that way. You could read "NOT AGAIN" on his face.

Except for one little detail, no lights, no wipers, and building an engine that would over power the low grade T5. Thankfully those two guys saved the day with a properly modded up T5.

Derek, I love that 67' Fairlane. I have a 66' and just dig that body style. I'm glad you got it going and back home. My personal suggestions are leave it pretty much the way it is but iron out some of the details. Put a heater core in it, wipers, a seat that will accommodate someone taller than 5'6", repair the electrical system and drive it!

Another most excellent episode. Nice pickup on the ol Fairlane, This channel is the only one I can literally sit for an hour and a half and watch Derek perform mechanical and digical miracles. I even pause the video for cold snacks. This one is a keeper! Kudos to Tony Angelo for his help.

This one was kinda bittersweet for me. My brother, who was 13 years older than me, had an almost perfect 66 Fairlane GT, 390,4 speed ,when I was just a boy and, man did I love the rides that he took me on. Unfortunately, for us, God decided that it was time for him to come home, just a few months ago. Thanks Derrick, Tony and all of the guys. Very special. Brought back a lot of good memories. Dang I miss him. ❤❤

I remember those long drives To and from NMRA races in the middle of the night watching the thunderstorms way off in the distance. The car community is the best group of people to know. Everyone helps whether you are well known or just a person that needs help. Great video and awesome save on the Fairlane.
My favorite car. I have a 66 fairlane with a 289 automatic. I have owned for 42 years. Was my daily driver until 2003. It still runs and drives but it needs some love. Love equals money and that I don't have. Great video

That car is so cool. 67 is the absolute best year for the Fairlane.
I remember those long drives To and from NMRA races in the middle of the night watching the thunderstorms way off in the distance. The car community is the best group of people to know. Everyone helps whether you are well known or just a person that needs help. Great video and awesome save on the Fairlane.

My favorite car. I have a 66 fairlane with a 289 automatic. I have owned for 42 years. Was my daily driver until 2003. It still runs and drives but it needs some love. Love equals money and that I don't have. Great video

It's always good to have something to look forward to and it works well just like traditional TV that teased the next episode as well. The ep didn't need to be in the can yet aka fully finished, just something you knew was happening next.
