Played CoP since the release and I've never knew that those tushkanos were neutral and helpful.
Well i didnt know that there are only 3 Psy Dogs in CoP, i just thought they are really rare to encounter..
in all the years I've played CoP I've had ONE encounter with them out in the wild besides the other 3 times.

In CoP from my experience, there are 2 psy dogs that spawn when you collect the heart of the oasis

when i first encountered the tushkanos i got scared a shot them, i thought their pathing was broken since they kept running into doors, but now i realised they were there to help you... Also i never knew about that controller in the cave.

@@zherean42069 when i first played i killed the controler in the cave because there was an emmision and i didnt have anywhere to hide (at the beggining of the game)
Same, I had *no idea* they were friendly! Also unless I'm thinking of another location I'm pretty sure there's a bloodsucker that lurks inside that building as well.
Well I entered the room via a sewer so they turned hostile after i grabbed the calibration kit, so yeah that was my defense

I like how few mutants there are. This is more athospheric and every encounter is unique.
So meeting these mutants everywhere in the world is a Stalker Anomaly thing?
@@AKAPATMAN yeah getting killed by a Chimera in Agroprom is an Anomaly thing but in vanilla SoC in the later game you can find a Bloodsucker in Gordon if you decide to head back there for some reason
@@AKAPATMAN In most of the games, you have a scripted encounter or two with the mutants, before they start appearing in the wild.

1:35 I thought they were getting effected by some kind of psy wave.
there are secret stalkers like Petruba and Awl, if they survive enought time you will see them wearing ecologist suits and their faction will change to ecologist
and in the notebook of mercs they say that 2 mercs were souting the zone, if you go early aroung the plant you will see 2 mercs wandering they are hostiles
i was pretty sure they were only given Eco suits when i did a playthrough with the smrter mod
I know its 8 mounts passed. But isn't petruba is the wolf scout that you meet in 1 mission in call of Chernobyl? If yes it makes world more alive u know, seeing characters from previous games alive and seeing they become more experience, join factions. It's like they're life coming with player, you can see their fate trough different games! You know stalker "nimble"? He appears in clear sky as a new stalker that joined clear sky. But after faction collapse he join loners and works for sidorovich and get captured by bandits. We save his ass in first call of Chernobyl mission. And in call of prypyat he is gun selle and you can order guns and ammos from him. Bro went from being beaten by bandits and renegats to gun seller that probably sometimes sells guns for bandits as well, for one year

theres definitely more stuff to show on stalker but the guy, Well we have honestly no idea, ive tried searching a little and no fucking one knows what happened to him. as long as hes still alive he might return, hopefully...

There is another kinda hidden mutant, I cant exactly remember the location but I remember walking in Pripyiat during night and I saw white eyes looking at me from second floor windows of a building, after a little searching I found a way to enter that building and went to second floor and the eyes were for a mutant dog (they have like cat eyes that go shiny in darkness)
I also think there was some loot in that room but cant exactly remember. But seeing those eyes staring at me from window was really shocking at first.

His presense is obvious because telekinesis (though burers can be also blamed for this) and found him to kill may be not so easy.
i legit spent half an hour finding that mofo, and damn satisfying it was to rack 12 shots of buckshot into it
Also there is a pkm in his room
which they used the mutant trickery more like hearing people shouting for help and such and make it a bit randomised with regular stalkers in need and such so you always have to think if you should go see and help to gain stuff or risk a mutant

Every sigle one other than the controler are in location not nesesery to explore and the burer i guess but you dont have to fight him. So you can technacly call them secret.
@@thatoneguy-nf7su Only "secret" mutant is the controller after you pick up the documents. I don't remember ever seeing it in my play throughs.
The cave controller is the only one you don't see when you follow the story.

Psy dogs have a spawn chance just like other mutants, they're not only found 3 times. They're rare but not finite.

LoL, could not believe someone is still playing vanilla CoP :-D Anyway - as I count myself as some kind of Stalker veteran, I really would not count these as hidden - except you truly surprised me with friendly tushkanos...I always shot them quite unfriendly ;-)
I bought a new laptop and reinstalled CoP only for testing Misery (lmao, my old laptop can't handle the crazy amount of mutant respawn), just to find that 2 weeks later Loki IRL was dead.
What a sad accident.

Nice video! Never knew that about the Tushkanos; feel a fool for shooting them without hesitation; guess I had been conditioned though...
Knew about the Chimera at the hospital; found out the nasty way in my first playthrough. Came back later with a Guass rifle, climbed that small tower to where the dead military sniper was, killed it with ease. Cowardly? Maybe. Satisfying? Definitely!
...So much so that I think I remember I even took detours while passing the Hospital just so I could snipe the bastard again after it respawned.

In some S.T.A.L.K.E.R. novels there are theories that burers are actually mutated children, that were caught by the disaster that created the Zone. How true this theory is, is anyone's guess.

I guess due to playing Shadow Of Chernobyl and Clear Sky often I encountered all of these scenarios in my first play through Call Of Pripiyat

Bruh. Only the Zaton controler is sorta hidden. (and the annoying x8 poltergeist) All the other mobs are part of the quest, POI or normal spawn.

Only CoP unless you install Anomaly or Lost Alpha
Others have, sure. You can find a psy dog in red forest(SOC) and maybe there are more hidden mutants, i don't quite remember
I have all builds from 2001-2009 and there is more mutants and they were never released
I think some was added back in Anomaly and Lost Alpha
I killed all the second ones, one of them got away. I'm Sad now. I will have to start a New game and change the little creatures fate

Based on the sleeves on your shirt it looks like you are wearing clear sky armor...but clear sky wasn't in COP...is this a mod?
You can get Clear Sky armor from Nimble if you're lucky

Duh, it's stalker, you don't need to aim down sights, at least it's a sniper rifle.
@@Maza945 I aim down the sights 9/10 times. Heck some rifles or pistols you fire without aiming and you cant hit a barn door or the recoil pushes the rifle all the way up
