It's pretty hopeless right now if you need to keep your witchery secret. It's seemingly treated as a hostile scheme, where you'd need agents to raise secrecy and success chance, but you can't have any agents because personal scheme. I like the other new mechanics a lot, so I don't feel like going back.
Happens sometimes. Especially if you use the influence ward's traits decision. Most of my lady's kids have 4 or 5 because of it. Could go for more if I tried, but they got good combos.

The odds of successfully giving the kid the intended trait go down once they already have 3, and more when they already have 4, but my current guy has 5 (Just, Compassionate, Honest, Calm, and Eccentric) with Honest and Compassionate being the only naturally occurring ones, and the other 3 being taught by his mom. That said, it's possible this is a glitch because I'm pretty sure I taught Just seconds before the event for one of the personality traits fired
